Me and my wife have followed NV catering for a while on Instagram. A few friends recommended them noting they have an incredible chicken wrap for lunch. A post popped up offering Friday dinner for four at a very reasonable price. We went ahead and took a shot and ordered the Italian sausage and pepper pasta with veggies, bread and salad. Friday came and picking up was very easy. The kitchen and facilities were very clean and tidy. When we got the food back and I opened up the container surprises definitely my first reaction. The meal we received was identical to the meal they offered in their Instagram post. That just doesn't happen, reality always is just a little more, messy or sloppy. Not with NV, the food we got looked exactly like the food we ordered. So the family gathered made plates, and not only was the food beautiful. It tasted incredible. The pasta was perfectly cooked the sausage and sauce full of spice (not heat) and flavor. The veggies were perfectly cooked, soft, but still with bite. The salad also looked fantastic and taste just as well. The best part is as advertised. It is a meal for four, we had three and still have enough leftovers to supplement a full meal. In total, we absolutely on keep an eye out on future NV Friday family meals. The speed convenience and high-quality and taste of the meal makes the value that much better. Don't let the name fool you. Prior to COVID, this was a fully functioning restaurant equipped with indoor dining. They also do catering for special events (which I'm sure was the initial intention of this restaurant). Not only is the food delicious, but the presentation is beautiful, as well! I usually ordered the Steak Pita every time I visited this place, but the recipe has changed within the last year. I'm not a fan of change, especially since the Steak Pita had notes of Mediterranean flavor (as the name suggests). Now, it's more of a southwestern flavor, which personally, could've been a whole 'nother menu item with a different name. Oh well. Since then, I've tried the Tri-Tip Wrap and Tri-Tip Sandwich. Last week, I tried Chilaquiles for the first time. I've always wanted to try it, so I guess that's why I had such high expectations for it. I didn't hire their catering side, but I actually hired them for the NV experience which is meant for private dinners. And they did such an amazing job! With any elegant plate of food, I'm always concerned if it'll be food leaving me still hungry. Not here. It was a generous amount of deliciously cooked and plated food. They not only left me wowed, but my guests as well. Even the freshly made bread rolls kept my guests wanting more! They worked with me on the menu, did a walk through of my home weeks prior to my event to get the best idea of the flow, brought in a good amount of staff to handle my intimate party of 15 and took care of every single moment from bar tending and passed hors d'oeuvres, to clean up...they created everything I had imagined for my party. And on top of their service, the food was amazing. Not a single hiccup throughout the night. And if there was one in the background, they handled it well because I wouldn't have known. So NV catering handled my wedding in April (sorry for the delay life is crazy.) Our first meeting (tasting) with Nate when phenomenal and after trying his food we knew for sure that we were going to use them for the wedding. Nate and Jessica are wonderful people and their communication and flexibility was great helping us in preparation for the reception. The staff that worked the wedding were very friendly and did a good job moving around without getting in the way handling serving, drinks, clearing tables, and getting cake for the guests I appreciate their hard work tremendously. The food was delicious and really brought just about everything we had hoped for to the reception. -1 star for a few of the steaks being cool not hot and for our personal server forgetting to serve any champagne to my wife and I during the toasts, it was a little sad that the bridge and groom where the only ones forgotten during the champagne pour. Came here for a tasting for a friends wedding. Nate helped us out. He was awesome. He he listened to everything the Bride (my friend) had to say and recommended his thoughts on things without seeming pushy. We definitely took his opinion into a lot of consideration being that he's done hundreds of weddings. He was so easy to talk to . As for the food goes.... 5 stars without a doubt. We had the chicken parmesan and green beans with bacon and yummy mashed potatoes and tri tip. Went for our tasting today and Nate was just awesome. I took my fiancé and two others and they just loved his personality. Saw this company on the local take-home recemended sites, and so glad we have it a try! We got the tri- tip family meal for 4, and there was plenty of food and it tasted great. I discovered NV Catering through several recommendations. I needed a vendor to cater my son's wedding and on short notice, this team came to the rescue. We also had the privilege of enjoying their wonderful menu for the rehearsal dinner as well. I do wedding photography and NV catering did the meal at last night's wedding. Holy moly it was so good! Friend chicken with home made honey mustard along with garlic green beans and Mac n cheese. YUM! One of the best wedding meals we have had. We go to over 20 weddings a year. Thank you NV catering for your excellent service to Bakersfield. My only critic is that it took a long time to get the cake and champagne served because only two people were running it. If a couple more servers were brought over to serve too the wait time would go down and it would have been perfect. Other than that, excellent! read more

I recently had NV Catering cater a business lunch that my company was having to show appreciation to our employees. I called them with less than two weeks before the desired date and they came through in a major way. My co-workers all told me how much they loved the lunch. Even with serving four different sites, they executed well and the food was great. We went with the Hawaiian Luau option and many of my employees/co-workers said they thoroughly enjoyed it. All food was boxed perfectly and very easy to prepare but lacked terribly in taste. Our experience with NV catering has been nothing short than fantastic. NV catering served delicious food at our wedding and was professional and prompt throughout every step of our experience working with them. NV catering worked with us when we needed to postpone our wedding due to covid with no issues or extra fees. We were able to make necessary changes to our menu and guest count that honored our new wedding date. The communication was prompt and efficient, we were never left with unanswered questions or emails. They also were able to serve salmon as an entree although it was not available on the menu, which allowed us to provide additional pescatarian/ vegetarian options to our guests. NV catering ensured that every safety precaution was taken to ensure social distancing and keep guests safe from the possible spread of Covid 19. Staff wore face masks and gloves during the entire event. They provided us with additional tips in order to protect plates, glassware, and silverware from being contaminated. Nathan is so nice and whatever it is you want, he will cook/do! Him and his company catered my wedding. It was so easy working with Nathan/NV Catering even though I lived 150 miles away. They communicate via email or telephone and are always friendly and helpful. All my guests LOVED the food at my wedding and I did too, of course! When dinner was served, I told them I would be playing the song "Be Our Guest" from the movie Beauty and the Beast. They came out serving and twirling and dancing to the beat with trays in hand! It was wonderful! The food is great. The people are great. The service is great. Oh, and the pricing... what a great deal for the quality of food and service.
