Cashier Edward was incredibly friendly, funny, and so easy to talk to. He made checking out quick and effortless, and when I realized I had forgotten an item, he was so patient while I ran back to grab it. He never made me feel rushed and kept such a positive attitude the entire time. I also had the pleasure of talking with Calen in the meat department. I came in looking for filet mignon, but since they were sold out, he took the time to recommend the next best cut. Not only did he explain why it was a great alternative, but he also taught me what to look for when shopping for steaks in the future. His knowledge, friendliness, and willingness to help really stood out. Both Edward and Calen were personable, funny, and genuinely enjoyable to talk to. For us this is our standard when it comes to buying meat. This place has the Best Carne Asada money can buy. In my family we call it, the Gold meat because it is very pricy but also soo worth it. We get the Asajo cuts because they're so easy to enjoy. They cook up super fast on the grill and they're soo juicy and flavorful with each bite. You cannot go wrong buying the Asajo cuts from this meat market. Come prepared to spend a lot of money but you will not be disappointed. When I'm LA we go to the one in Pico Rivera. I will definitely consider driving from Visalia over here knowing this meat market taste like the one in Pico. The customer service was real good too. They also have a loyalty program. They do have pretty much everything you might need for a 3 day stay. I personally liked that they had an array of vegan friendly foods (while not vegan, I sometimes do like to do 1-2 days of "clean" eating when I'm traveling). They also have a hot bar and a salad bar along with a deli. I appreciate that they have a wide variety of food, and on the hot bar they do change it up daily. The staff is very friendly and will definitely help point you in the right direction if you can't find something. Its a place I could see visiting over and over when I'm in town.

The options are: you clearly presented your signs and show that the floor is wet, which is relieving you of any liability if somebody slips and you clean one bathroom at a time while the doors are open and guest need to use a bathroom. Or I have to instruct my son to literally go and pee outside the door once they got the MOD. He came with an attitude. His name was Jaszmin. He argued with me. I clearly told him that my son is going to use the bathroom anyway because he has no choice. On another note: did not fit the small containers of soup so we gently put it on soup was bagged up from the very kind Check guy. He had a tattoo on his neck that said baby. I was extremely kind and he turned around on me and I was accused of yelling at her staff. Both of my kids question that saying that I did not as well as I clearly did not I was very assertive, but I was not yelling. This team needs to know how to take care of their store. They can't take care of their stores. You can't take care of the customers. They clearly see now why they have a 3.8 stars versus some of the other properties they have 5 stars. You are going to finger point at me, perhaps you should point the fingers at yourselves and find out why people are complaining?. This is just another feather filled failed headdress. After comparing several review sites, we chose this spot because it was conveniently located near the freeway and had a great selection of coffee and baked goods. I'm glad we did because it ended up being an excellent stop. Parking was easy, with plenty of open spaces right in front of the bakery. When we walked in, we were greeted by a very friendly staff. Most of the employees primarily spoke Spanish, which is pretty common for an authentic Mexican bakery. Thankfully my girlfriend speaks Spanish, which made ordering easier, though everyone was still welcoming and helpful. The layout is nice. There's a small dining area on one side, while the other side features the coffee counter, a small selection of Mexican grocery items, and display cases packed with fresh pastries and breads. The selection is impressive. They had conchas, empanadas, croissants, yoyos, polvorones, muffins, churros, cinnamon rolls, pineapple cakes, Mexican donuts, vanilla and pineapple pastries, niño envuelto, cannoli-style pastries, and many other traditional baked goods. I ordered the apple empanada, which was excellent, along with another pastry that my girlfriend explained was topped with a cream cheese and butter mixture covered in sugar. It was incredibly sweet, but absolutely delicious. For drinks, I ordered the large Carlos V iced coffee, and my girlfriend ordered the Duvalín coffee, which is inspired by the popular Mexican candy. We both really enjoyed our drinks. One thing I thought was especially nice is that the specialty coffees come with a small conchita on top, making them an even better value. At around $7.95 for a large, it's a great deal considering you're getting both a specialty coffee and fresh bread. Their coffee menu is extensive. Beyond their specialty drinks, they also offer lattes, cappuccinos, Americanos, mochas, macchiatos, espresso, frappes, hot chocolate, iced hot chocolate, teas, lemonades, aguas frescas, and plenty of flavored syrups like vanilla, hazelnut, brown sugar, cinnamon, caramel, coconut, white chocolate, and chocolate. I also used the restroom during our visit, and it was spotless. It was so clean that I actually went back and told my girlfriend she should use it before we got back on the road because it was one of the cleanest public restrooms we'd come across that day. Overall, this was a fantastic stop. Easy parking, friendly service, clean facilities, excellent coffee, and an outstanding selection of authentic Mexican pastries. I would absolutely stop here again anytime I'm passing through Bakersfield and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great Mexican bakery and coffee shop.
