The salads were fresh and all the ingredients were just the right combinations and great flavor. A reservation is definitely the way to go. We had an 11am reservation when they first open for lunch. Filled with ricotta & black truffles, I could not get over the savory flavor that had your taste buds running wild. Throw in their brown butter sage sauce with parmigiano reggiano, and you are served a meal worthy of any award. Their bolognese sauce was so delicious and had the right amount of meat and sauce for their pasta dish. Having a glass of white wine with my meal, it was truly one of my favorite meals I've had in quite some time.

We were able to grab the last of the season's navel and Cara Cara oranges, along with some fresh lemons. Everything was incredibly fresh and full of flavor. We also picked up some dates, which are absolutely delicious. I love mine stuffed with good Irish butter and cheddar, it's the perfect sweet and savory combo. My wife prefers hers with Skippy peanut butter, and she absolutely loves them. As always, the staff were wonderful, friendly, welcoming, and happy to help. It's become a bit of a tradition for us, and we'll definitely keep coming back every time we're in the area.

The gentleman (I wish I got his name) was friendly and knowledgeable. About a week ago, I picked up some of their marinated chicken breast. I believe one was a garlic and herb and the other was their signature marinade. The garlic and herb was very nice and could easily be paired with any green vegetable. I asked about their signature marinade to get an idea of flavors and they stated it was like a Mexican polo flavor. I made it with some white rice and it worked out really well. The chicken breasts were so thick! You could easily filet them and double your amount. They also didn't appear to have the white lines that I see in the supermarket chicken breasts. I've read those are due to hormones in the chickens. Is it true? I don't know. They have a nice variety of cuts and if you like sausage, they have several flavors! Definitely worth checking out. The shop isn't very big but they have pretty much all the basics you would need if you're planning a BBQ or a simple meal for you and your family. Overall, the shop is clean and tidy. This is no fault of theirs, but whoever designed that parking lot, well, lets just say they didn't consider larger trucks driving through. The parking lot layout for that entire area is just wonky.

They also have a loyalty program. They do have pretty much everything you might need for a 3 day stay. I personally liked that they had an array of vegan friendly foods (while not vegan, I sometimes do like to do 1-2 days of "clean" eating when I'm traveling). They also have a hot bar and a salad bar along with a deli. I appreciate that they have a wide variety of food, and on the hot bar they do change it up daily. The staff is very friendly and will definitely help point you in the right direction if you can't find something. Its a place I could see visiting over and over when I'm in town.
