When we go to the checkout line I told my girls they could each pick out a ball from the small bin of balls. I then bent down to look at something on a shelf. I heard an associate very rudely tell my girls that the balls needed to go back in the bin. Not knowing what to say they started to apologize and the associate repeated "balls in bin!" My girls did as requested and walked over to me. I found it extremely rude and unprofessional that the only interaction we had with any one of service was someone scolding my daughters for holding balls that I said I would buy them ‍. The store was nearly empty and I can understand why. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend doing any business with this store, unless you want to have your kids leave crying. .

I should first clarify by saying that I'm nowhere near an expert when it comes to buying sporting equipment. I frequent Play It Again Sports for mostly one reason: disc golf equipment. When it comes to this lovely sport for people who don't (or won't, or can't) dribble, PIAS has one of the best selections around. They carry nearly all the disc brands and makes. Occasionally they will be out of one, but they place frequent orders and you really don't have to wait long. Color, weight, and plastic type selections are also decent. The other day, I threw my Vibram Lace into someone's backyard at Rosecrest in Harriman (curse you Harriman disc golf park, phbbbt!). Luckily, this place had my exact disc, plastic type color, and weight in stock. I drove there lickety split and picked one up. The people who work there (owners sometimes) know quite a bit about the different sports. The other equipment they have on hand seems to be in great or like-new condition. I've never had a bad experience here. The stores are on the slightly dirtier side, but then again, it adds to that neat garage-sale, quality used goods kind of vibe. Give this place a shot and see what you think!

What kind of warranty within a year is that? This is a very poorly run business that sells high end fitness equip and once the sale is made you are on your own. It got to be very entertaining to see what they would do instead of not helping me. To get our shoes we had to fill out what we needed on an iPad that was by the shoes. That was the only way we could get someone's attention. Once we found out what shoes we wanted we had to wait again at the desk because we needed to get the right replacements for the bottom of the shoes. The only way we got someone to help us was to fill out the iPad again that we needed another pair of shoes, but we said no we just need your help once the guy showed up. When we went to check out, we were found out we were given the wrong shoes and so we went and got the sample one so they could get us the right pair. The girl was totally bugged, but they got a pair that was $100 more. I'm going to notice that??? The cashier was very unfriendly, and was also bugged! We stepped back so she could help other customers while we waited. We could've just stood there, made the customers wait while we waited for my correct shoes-- but thought we'd be nice... she didn't smile, say thank you, etc... My boys have played baseball, football, lacrosse, and now golf, and we've always liked Dicks to get their gear. We will not be returning. I'm still amazed as I think about all the employees that walked past us that never once asked how they could help us. One guy had an earpiece in so it looked like he was maybe more in charge than the others and he actually walked past three times with no words said or eye contact! Pretty sad!!! I understand they work in different parts of the store, but they could've called someone to come and help us very easily! We are going to get shoes elsewhere and return the shoes in the morning. No more money will be spent here... and I have spent thousands at Dicks every year... So I guess I will be going back one more time. Sooo bugged!!!

I chose 1 year but you can choose from a good variety of options up to three years! 5 star experience... While I walked about I was asked by a floor monitor if they could assist me with anything... I asked T question and they responded kindly good people in the store. I got some Iowa beef sticks... they also had good variety of jerky... that meaty juicy type not dried. I asked AI what are the top 5 most popular lures that work best in Utah and the store had all of them. I took them, a great Nike T shirt and my beefsteak at the cashiers near the entrance, paid and bid good day. I'd shop this place again.

(I had several questions) 10 minutes in golf department. Same story. 20 minutes in BBQ and the two guys there seemed more worried about the display looking great than offering help. I've always loved Scheels but I am very disappointed with the current lake of service or lack of. I hope things improve! (I only spent $250)
