This store location seemed pretty huge in comparison to a few of the other tons of stores that I have been to in So Cal and WA. But then again, it may be because I'm basing that on how much product I felt they had in their store. The workers were friendly. The store was clean. The store is also very organized so that was lovely. The only thing that I didn't know was that the store closed at 9PM instead of 10PM. I came in with my hubby looking for some last minute board shorts and luckily we were in and out in a heart beat. One particular person has a very rude attitude her name is Gabriella. I've been going there at least 9 years I've never seen her. she is a liar and very rude! All over a coupon that she said had different bar codes and didn't. I asked to speak to a manager and she said she was the manager. I asked to speak to another manager and she gave me a different guy. Then I asked for customer service number and I was given the store number. And for some reason we aren't getting our big 5 emails now! horrible service I've never had problems at this big 5 since I moved here. read more

I purchased an air mattress which sucked right awa. could not sleep on it so I went to return and their policy is to not refund but credit you for another air mattress. it's a stupid policy! I was looking for a jansport fanny pack. Googled for who sells them and Big 5 came up for $20.00. Called closest store told by girl didn't know, put on hold and a nice guy checked and found only 1. I went in and was shown that 1 bag. Asked if any other stores might have more? Guy said he'd call did and they only had 1 as well. So went to Walmart found 1 for $10 bucks. They were helpful but short on supply. read more

I got here very ealry as soon as they open to see if the had any of the items they advertising in the Sunday times newspaper article and unfortunately they nor does the manager even care I was told last Sunday at 2 o'clock in the afternoon they was sold out and this ? I think big 5 need to do a rain checks and stop putting things in the newspaper paper if they don't have them. Extremely helpful and well informed employees regarding the products they sell. We walked in a purchased some running shoes and football cleats - very impressed with the cost. This location carries very affordable rifles so I may pick one up myself - depending on what the wife says that is. Highly recommend this location to all the locals. I will definitely be coming back for my future outdoor needs. read more

Helpful personnel. My only disappointment is when i write a check for my purchases, the cashiers always have a difficult time processing it. It usually involves calling a manager over. Even then it takes some time. I know I'm in a minority still using checks for shopping, but it's my preference. Either you say up front "cash and credit cards" , or you find a better way to serve your check using customers. read more

This place went downhill. They have staff that has no knowledge of the products or laws. I've got all my guns from this Big 5 location, and I've never had a problem here. But recently I went to buy ammo, and I was turned away by the lady that was helping me. She claims she couldn't sell me ammo, she called the manager up and he also said he couldn't sell me ammo, due to the federal restriction stamp, but that doesn't take place to 2020, I have walked right across the parking lot to Walmart and bought ammo with the same exact ID on the same exact day. I went to Big 5 a week later and another guy was there and he was willing to sell me the ammo, which I didn't need anymore. But from now on I'll just go to Turner's, which is 30 times more professional and clean. This Big 5 location seems like a Clearance Store. I wouldn't recommend this store anyone read more

I'm giving them one star because I went to their store at 9:30 and it was closed! I am upset that the store closes at 9 but on the website it states that it's open until 10! People don't get confused as I did and don't waste your gas this store closes at 9 not 10!! read more

Almost left because Assistant Manager Billy has no customer service skills. Not helpful at all. Then I my wife and kids where putting the soccer equipment back. I was on the phone with WSS who was giing to match the price for cleats balls everything. That when we where approached by a blonde gentleman with glasses who asked if he could help us. We told what was going on and what Billy had said. He said no we'll take care of you . Took us to the register and hads us rang up. I didn't get his name but he was great. I just moved to California and had not been to a Big 5. Some of their products are not from "BIG NAME" companies but I was iimpressed with how much stuff they can fit in such a small space. Bonus, they had 9mm ammo! Before backpacking trips, I will be hitting up Big 5! read more
