They handled it like champs one guy particular I wish I would've got his name, but he knew it was up. The first thing I wanted was the color blue, but they didn't have my size but no problem. He jumped on. It gave me some helpful advice and found the size I wanted in black and that will work too, so I grabbed those. He took care of six people managed to get to me as he could see. I couldn't walk very well in no time flat. I had my new pair of Nike slip on slippers in the deal was incredible. I saved 20%. The store is good. Nice job.!!

They had a few color options, and they were $15.99 which I didn't think was too bad for a 33' one. They have so many things to look at here! Lots and lots of apparel and a great shoe section. Camping gear, sporting goods, beach gear, bikes, coolers, bags and much more! Prices can be a little steep, but they carry good brands. Had to wait a little in the check out line before they brought out another cashier out, bur when I was finally helped the cashier was very friendly and professional. Loved how easy it is to search their stock online!

With that said, once inside, they do a great job of stocking as much as possible given that this is a slightly smaller Big 5 location than others. I always make a point of coming to this location first because chances are checkout lines will be shorter and then if they don't have what I'm looking for I go up the street to the Granada Hills location. Staff here is also very friendly. They tend to only be at the register and aren't wandering around the store a ton, but I've also never really needed help finding things as the store is very well laid out and intuitive. Prices are fine. Nothing amazing, but they're better priced than other big box sporting good store chains so, once again, this is always our first stop for gear for our 3 growing kids & their youth sports gear. If you give them your email you'll get a weekly email with some good deals that often are catered to whatever sport season is about to start as well which I greatly appreciate. If not, chances are you'll get a coupon in the mail for 20% off or $5 off a purchase of $20 or more. So always keep an eye out for one of those if you know you are going to need to buy anything.

I was quickly directed to go towards the right corner with the glass counter. She walkied to get assistance from another staff, and the next lady showed up and immediately knew which type of the product I needed was best for my needs!! She was super friendly and helpful and also answered the questions we asked. I really appreciate her showing how to use it too. The prices over here at Big 5 and their products are always well worth it in my opinion. I really appreciate the lady behind the counter and the cashier Beth for also assisting me!! This shop had me go in and out quickly with the product I needed!! I reccommend this spot for when you're in a pinch for any supplies!!

For all intents and purposes, it's a standard Target, slightly larger than some locations, but not…read morea huge hub like some of the crazy urban locations that I've been to and it's not tiny like the one near LAX or in downtown Denver, but because the Valley is the Valley (sorry!), it's massive suburban sprawl here, so it does get SUPER crowded and busy here. Parking can get quite fisted, crowds and people traffic can be quite busy here too, and things can get quite disorganized and frankly a bit dirty inside the store, at least on the Sunday that I went. I can't imagine going here when there's a Poke'mon or some other kind of drop either. The workers were super busy, but did their job just fine to check out. Selection was normal, but a bit sparse looking due to how everything was just taken out from the shelves and left wherever, but the prices were standard for any Target location.

This target has a garage parking lot and that's where you pull in for drive-up service. You will see the cones and designated area. There are moments in life where one might feel the space / time continuum shifting. Walking in to…read moreBoarders Sports with our 12 year old grandson several weeks ago was one of those times. I came of age when indoor malls were the hottest development in shopping / dining / entertainment to hit America in like, ever! Used to live in Concord, where Sunvalley Mall for a period of time was the largest indoor mall in the country. They lost the distinction in due time, but it was a highlight for me to go there, often with friends, but especially with my grandmother. She didn't drive. Living in San Francisco with public transit, she never needed to, and where would she park anyway?! When it was time to come visit, she'd either catch a Greyhound bus, or my mom would go to the City to pick her up. Once at our place, she'd love to plan a shopping day with me. We'd be dropped off at the center and wander our way as far as she'd have the energy to go. She'd indulge my love for fashions of the day, often buying me a skirt or top or hair accessories or, or, or - you get the idea. Flash forward a bunch of decades. Now I'm that grandmother taking a tween out shopping to his favorite kind of store, in search of that elusive fashion that makes his eyes light up. It's got to be perfectly in fashion for his preferred style. And it has to be reasonable enough to not make my wallet groan in protest. While in the store, watching him pan and scan the racks for whether what he wanted was in them, I felt a sense of deja vu, but with the twist that I was on the other part of the shopping equation. Kinda surreal! The shop is well stocked with tons of gear for tweens and teens. Ours was gravitating to their windbreakers. It's a thing. We found a deal for buy one item, get one free on a certain rack. He got the jacket, plus a hoodie flannel shirt. The cashier wasn't paying attention and didn't give the discount on the shirt. They have a policy of no refunds - store credit only. The boy now has a store credit in his name for whenever the shopping muse strikes again. They messed up, but he gets the benefit. He was very happy with his purchase, which makes it all worthwhile, right?

Three gentlemen (employees) looked at each other and said those were reserved for customers that "won" the raffle. I politely asked what was the cut off date and time on when they should be picked up. They again looked at each other and said, we are holding on to them until they show so they will not be for sale. It appears that they are holding them for family and/or friends as it was the case with the costumer that bought it earlier. I caught up to him in the mall and he said it was saved for by his friend. Sad on what Boarders has become.
