The place could get more starts, but management really need to work on the menu. While beers are good, food really lacks any creativity. I personally adored this place becuase they have a beer I had searched ALL OVER for.. Wells Banana Bread Beer.... it was everything I needed it to be.. I was over the moon when I saw this on the menu and immediately ordered it.. I also LOVED the mugs they were served in....The decor and interior of this bar is pretty cool, I really liked it...I dont remember what appetizer we ordered but it was meh.....our entrees on the other hand are decent.... I dont know what kind of crowd they get here since I dont live in FL, but I would definitely go back for the beer alone..and fyi: the ONLY place around the STL I have been able to find Banana Bread beer is in Grafton at Piasa Winery. :) read more

Went on a Monday night right before happy hour was over, gave the server our drink order so she could get the order in the system before happy hour was over. She proceeds with 5 minutes to spare say ohh happy hour is over 2 minutes before it was over. Not sure how it happened but we would have stayed longer if we had our drinks. The food and drinks took a really long time and we were a group 6 or more and the server was very overwhelmed. It seemed they only had 3 servers on dollar brat night which I do not believe was right. The menu is solid and beer selection is excellent. The food is delicious!! Highly recommend going on the weekend to hear the live music. What we enjoyed most was the service! We have a baby and needed a table in a quieter area with room for a stroller. The manager found us a table in the back on a Friday night during prime time and kept checking on us! It was so nice! Great selection of beer, food was meh, but open late which is rare for the area during the week. Service was good. Ordered the pretzel and kielbasa. In Germany, you get about 5 different mustard choices, here you get one mediocre mustard. The sausage was smaller than expected (no joke intended). We have a gathering her for my best friends birthday who is german and figured we'd have more fun here then at a stir fry joint. First off, parking here can be a nightmare. The area is full of restaurants and not enough parking for all of them. So finding parking can be quite an adventure. Our guest of honor and his girlfriend ended up parking so far away that I drove them to their car at the end of the night. The restaurant was crowded for a Tuesday night but hte staff found us a table outside, which was fine except for one thing - the music. The musician outside was okay, but the noise level created by him was too much, and it got a bit much when it turned into a audience show with various members of the audience getting up and singing or playing guitar. The staff was quite attentive with our waitress stopping by on a regular basis to ensure we had everything we needed. The beer selection. I was moderately impressed with the beer selection which included not just some german beers, but some very nice local and US craft beers. The one comment I had was that you should have better or more dunkels then just Warsteiner. I can buy that anywhere. The food. We started with pretzels which were pretty good. I would have appreciated a better mustard, but thats me. The cheese dip (Liptaeur Kase) was quite good. I got brats because I love a good bratwurst. I was disappointed. The flavor was odd in my book not in keeping with hte brats I have had in Germany, Switzerland and other German restaurants and the mustard, while different form the pretzel mustard, was not that good. Now my friends had the schnitzel and loved it. And another person had the lieberkase and was very happy with it. So maybe I am just too fussy. All in all this is a hybrid German American restaurant with a decent beer selection and a interesting menu that I may explore further one day. The one thing I would love to see is to either lose the music or turn it way down. I hate going to eat and not being able to easily talk with my dining companions. read more

Great beers! So happy that they have re-vamped the draught selection to include more German beers, I now prefer Biergarten over Yardhouse. Mainly for the atmosphere and the outside seating. The food is not as authentic as it could be but but they did a great job with the Oktoberfest. read more

This was a fun bar with a great beer selection. They have a nice outdoor bar that looks like it could get a bit rowdy, in a good way! We went on a Friday night and it wasn't too packed inside. They had an okay live band playing on the balcony which was a really great setup. Our waitress was sweet and helped us choose the best beers. read more

I always forget to review the local places I frequent. First thing - get the pretzel... thank me later. Second - ask for Brett. He seems to be the restaurant mascot and is hard to miss with his fantastic red beard. I am not a huge beer drinker but every time I go to Biergarten, Brett seems to pair me with one I like. My personally favorite is a cider (either peach or apple) that he throws a shot of grapefruit moonshine in. Sounds weird, tastes great. Watching Brett work is always entertaining. He seems befriend everyone surrounding the bar with a witty joke, smile, drink suggestion, etc. read more

went there 2 years ago, When I asked for some bread to go with my sausages, I was told, she will have to ask the chef. Came back a minute later with the info, I would have to pay $1.00 for a slice of bread. I said OK and she brought me 2. Our check came to over $40.00 for lunch. My wife and I have been to the restaurant many times and have brought numerous friends here, the food is excellent and the atmosphere is great. However we went with friends on Saturday 10/20/2018 to celebrate a birthday only to be greeted by an extremely loud rock band. If it weren't his birthday I would have gotten up and left. Really, a loud rock band in a restaurant ? In a German theme restaurant ? I was a waiter in several very good restaurant's in New York and you would never see this. Very large German pretzels are excellent. Considering Florida has a pretty poor reputation for any kind of bread baking, these are great. Atmosphere gets a thumbs up too with live German music. Food was only so-so. Minimal German dishes offered, and the traditional preparations weren't there. The food seemed to be food service delivered and prayed quality. Wiener Schnitzel wasn't T served with the lemon butter/caper preparation. It did come with a small side ramekin of Jäger sauce, but I didn't order Jäger Schnitzel. They didn't even offer it. Red cabbage side was served cold with the Saurbraten. Server was pleasant, but not very helpful with explaining the available beer flights. Better training needed. It was OK, but I would be hard pressed to return. read more

I find that being of German descent it isn't always easy to find good German food, however Biergarten in Boca Raton was awesome! I went in recently with a friend for 2 for 1 Schnitzel Tuesday and was quite impressed! Food was outstanding, great beer on tap and the atmosphere was top notch, even for a Tuesday. I love beer. I come here a lot the decor makes you feel like you're in Germany. It's unlike any bar in the area its uniqueness draws you in and that's why it's so popular. The bartenders will explain to you how the beer tastes in detail. I appreciate the enthusiasm from the bartenders and staff; there knowledge of beers shows especially when you asked them questions to make your drink decision. I got a great blonde beer that I've never tried before I was very pleased with the experience with my drinks. Unfortunately I ordered a pork sandwich and a giant pretzel I've never tried the food but tonight I decided to indulge myself in there menu but what happened next was unexpected. I got terrible food poisoning and so did my friends that were joining me. Moral of the story food poisoning won't stop me from drinking all the beer I want. read more

Loved the charcuterie plate - the smoked pork was excellent. The sausage sandwich I had - the name escapes me - was topped with beer cheese, delicious pastrami and sauerkraut and was delicious, although the roll was too large and too much bread. Loved that there were a few craft beers on tap as alternates to the typical German offerings. read more
