Great neighborhood bar that is welcoming and with a fun atmosphere even mid afternoon. We stopped by and enjoyed sandwiches and drinks. The Cubano came recommended and I went with it. Stuffed with tender meat and a fresh roll! Others had the Monte Cristo and it looked yummy served dusted with powdered sugar and side of jam. For drinks I had a Snozzberry (fruity Hef) and it was perfectly refreshing for summer afternoon. Others had a can of wine (?) and beers. By far the best sandwich in town . Service is great and the beer is excellent. There is a mix of people so it can be a bit different.

Great little place. Showed up here on a Friday night as other places around town were closing at 9PM (we came in December). The place was great. You know that ratty hoodie you own that is kind of beat up but isn't? That one that is just super comfy? That's Bier One. We were in the mood for the following: - Play some cribbage (check!) - Get me a dessert beer (check!) - Some place mellow (check!) - Clean & friendly atmosphere (check!) Honestly, not sure if it was because of who was bartending (12/29) but dude was super friendly, music wasn't blaring, and honestly, every town needs a place like this. The sandwich was really good I got the Margaret the only vegetarian sandwich option. They have a nice family room with games and darts foosball and shuffleboard. We did order 3 sandwiches but I think they just misheard and gave us 2 so there was that but overall great service and friendly people and fresh food. read more

Went to this place to watch a game with the family... wonderful local spot with v friendly patrons who are happy to chat. the food was great but not extensive (sandwiches), the service was fantastic (thanks Tyler!) and couldn't recommend this place more for friends, family etc. nice space inside with a wild natural garden on the parkway which is a nice touch too. This hidden gem was a stumbled upon exciting find! Clean, beautiful, whimsical wood decorated the walls, chairs , tables and bar of this small and quaint brewery. They have beer and cocktails! Their sour was my husband and I's favorite! Perfectly sour and paired well with the philo dough monte cristo! That sandwich was out of this world filling and unique! The jam it was served with the an appropriate portion and the sandwich decorated nicely with powdered sugar completed this lunch date! Great job with everything y'all! read more

Chill, friendly, fun, good beer...what more do I have to say?! This place not only had a great beer, cider and wine selection but the staff alone makes this place a go to! Right away we were greeted and given recommendations on beer selections. We then adventured around the place to find out they have a entire game section filled with various board games and more! The darts called our names so we played a match or two while enjoying our delicious beers. If you are ever in town this place is great to bring a group to and have some fun! Make sure to also come on a sunny day because they also have outside seating. Thankfully we only live 2 minutes away so we will be back very soon! Highly recommended! read more

Please take this review from a non drinker. This place is probably excellent for beer drinkers. For me, no. I came here for the food. I have had excellent bar food at many bars. This lovely establishment is not on my list for good bar food. It's nice they have it for their customers, but I won't be coming here for the food again. My mistake. The tator tots weren't even good. When they said brewing, I thought they were brewing. But no. Just an offering of other places beers on tap. Though the first two we tried to order were out. Which normally wouldn't be an issue, but the one one guy working both the bar and the "food service" didn't discover it until we tried ordering it. We ordered some food. Which he politely and efficiently heated up in the microwave and served to us. Service was great, and the guy there was nothing but nice. But the beer was disappointing, the food was literally re-heated in front of us, and the atmosphere was cold and dull. Would never return. read more

These people are heroes. First they accommodated us right before closing, putting together whatever they could to feed us something we liked. Way above and beyond, really. Super nice, the food was delicious, and the place seems very well-considered, covid-wise. All awesome. But wait, there's more. Our dad (80) lost his balance, whacked his noggin on the floor, pretty hard, and before we had really even figured out what to do, they already had 911 on the phone, handling a scary medical emergency so calmly and smartly, that they made us all feel so much better. We wanted a pet-friendly brewing company we could stop here for a beer with our German Shepard. My baby barks for me when I walk away from the table and what seemed like the owner told me that they don't tolerate barking. I assured him that he just whines for me. Our dog sat down and slept, but I was a little discouraged from the comment so we left. Very fun little place! They typically do their own brewing but when we visited they had the brewery under construction so we had some beer from their guest taps. The guys were friendly, the atmosphere was fun and they had games and stuff and lots of art for sale on the walls. A nice, fun place to hang out for a drink! read more

Try the Funky Newport, or venture for a great Pilsner! 2 TVs allows for maximum sports viewing, along with a lovely dart board in the corner.
