Beware not honest people. I took my son's bike to have Handlebar extension installed that I purchased on Amazon. He kept complaining that his back was hurting being be so hunched down. They wanted to charge me $100. because they said the brake cables had to be changed and re-adjusted. Or it wouldn't work. No way! Ridiculous Fee! We took a brand new bike to them to adjust and do any work it needed and he left it in awesome conditions and gave us a package for $65 and he was very knowledgeable. Went in to repair a flat tire, gentleman was about to fix it and then the lady in the store came around and said they couldn't fix just the tire but needed to fix the broken break also and do a maintenance on the bike "it wasn't rideable and we could sue them for any accidents" first, don't try to use pressure tactics after your husband was about to fix it and secondly the bike is perfectly fine, my friend rides it every weekend. I left and too my business elsewhere. Would not recommend this place, they thought since I was a girl I didn't know anything about bikes and how to fix inner tubes. Never again read more

I left my bike to get the brake system swapped out. I was told it would be ready Saturday. I did not hear from them so I called them Sunday morning and they said to come by at 5PM. When I went to pick up the bike, they had not even started and wanted me to come back. I took my bike and my business elsewhere. Horrible service! Went for a inner tube replacement. From the moment I got into the store guy tries to sell me services I did not need, like wheel alignment spoke by spoke! and others. Tried to convince me that those were "required" and mandatory. Once I declined the "additional" services, the mechanic, with support from the lady present, refused! to install an inner tube I purchased outside of his store, claiming 'warranty" issues (other stores do it w/o problems. They do not require you to purchase inner tube with them). I got escorted out the door w/o any services provided. This is a scam shop. Do not use it! read more

Terrible! Their lack of communication is a little ridiculous. When a client calls to verify pricing , and service inquiries....they expect the information that is said prior to both getting off the phone and in person , has some validity. And one can expect a finished product . Sadly in this case . Something so simple , of just checking what is wrong with a pedal turned into over a week of holding the bike. Sadly not just holding it but when I would call and ask about the status their response was tomorrow. Now after hearing enough of that answer, I went to pick pick up the bike . This local bike shop is the best!! The owner and his wife are very friendly, knowledgeable, and the prices are very reasonable. I have been here twice and both times I have left very, very, satisfied. I brought my daughters bike the first time due to a tube with a hole in it, the owner replaces the tube and noticed that the front wheel was not aligned right. He took the time to take the tire off and correct the problem that i was not even aware of. It was not an easy task and after all that he only charged me for the inner tube. WOW!!! On my second visit, I brought in my wife's bike which had a major issue with the seat post that had gotten stuck in the hole and there was no way I could raise the seat for my wife to enjoy the bike. The owner analyzed the issue and at first I thought he would not be able to fix it. He asked if I could leave the bike with him (it was a Saturday) and he would try to fix it, although he mentioned he had a bad back so it may take him some time. He said that if he could fix it he would call me on Sunday. I took my claim ticket and was on my way hoping and praying that he can fix it since the seat post was really, really stuck. On Sunday as I was running around doing errands, I received a call from his wife letting me the bike had been fixed. I was in total shock since several people told me that the problem might not be able to get fixed. I arrived to the store and the bike looked amazing with the new seat post and seat I had bought on Amazon which he was able to replace the old one with. I am sure it was a big deal to try to fix it (labor wise) but he greeted me with a friendly smile and only charged me $45 dollars..... TOP NOTCH SERVICE read more

I walked in for a back tire alignment and before I even had the chance to explain, the owner automatically told me that it needs a tune up, I explaining to him that I refused a tune up because the bike is brand new and all I wanted to be done was align the tire and he refused my service and told me that without a tune up he wasn't going to do anything, and my back tire needed to be completely replaced to another one which cost more. MADE NO SENSE. He insulted me and told me that that's what happens when bikes are bought online. A job that was easily $20 turned into a job that was $180. Thank god I l didn't fall for it and left and found a way better bike shop. He was extremely rude, he closed the door on my face and told me to figure it out in another bike shop. Happened to try this bicycle shop as it was open on a Sunday and I needed a tube. The owner Mauricio looked over the bike -- on its last legs, rusted and barely rideable -- and offered a tune for a very reasonable price. Actually, it was more than a tune as it needed a new chain, both wheels trued, brakes repaired and adjusted, rust removed, etc. And furthermore, he credited the tube and lube I had purchased to the tune price. He was a bicycle mechanic for a number of years and now this is his own shop (along with his wife). Did a great job in resuscitating the bike.
