Dude fixed my bike. Got it done. Other than that dude has terrible customer service. I get it, you're busy or whatever it is you do; learn how to talk to your clients on the phone or at least do what you said you were gonna do. Never got an invoice and I told you what was wrong with the bike for you to tell me what I already told you. EDIT: Don't lie. YOU seemed busy and actually was rude on the phone (twice) , and actually I have phone logs and times. Not only that the person who dropped of my bike also said you were rude in person and on the phone. I did not even say those words to being with (deal with it) you had my bike, nothing I can do about that. You gave me an estimate of $70, then a week later told me you got the wrong size so we had to wake another 2 weeks. I contacted you. Didn't give me an invoice and only then gave me a price when I picked up my bike almost 3 weeks later. I CONTACTED you through Yelp because YOU never sent me an invoice. I sent someone else because I was at work and clearly no transportation . I really really wanted to like Bicycle Pit Stop given that it's operated out of a small shop in a Glendale garage inside an apartment building, and the prices are pretty reasonable. But, unfortunately, I cannot recommend them. I have a Nishiki from the 1980s, and it's my baby. I had a fall and got a concussion (would have died without my helmet), so I put my bike away for a while. I took it out, and the tubes were flat, and I was having some trouble with skipping gears. So I took it to Bicycle Pit Stop, having seen the 5-star reviews. Armen replaced the cassette, the tubes, and my grip tape. The skipping stopped for a bit, but started back up again. Today, I took it to another shop, and the tech there told me that he would have never given me my bike back in this condition and that I should be very upset at whoever replaced my cassette. Apparently, my derailleur is a bit older and it only fits a smaller cassette with 28 sprockets, and Armen had replaced it with a bigger cassette with 32 sprockets. He pointed out that there was no space between the last sprocket, and the derailleur, so if I had backpedaled while I was in first gear, the chain would have popped off, potentially injuring me. The other shop wasn't even angling for my service, because they were already overloaded because of coronavirus, but they told me that this was unacceptable service. tl;dr Bicycle Pit Stop put the wrong size cassette on my bicycle, not fixing the problem I had specifically gone into fix, and making my bicycle dangerous. read more

I took my bike in the shop there was many ahead of me but I don't mind the wait as long as the bike gets fixed. There was a nice gentleman waiting at the front after I made a call. Introduced me to the store and took a look at the bike told me to give my info and wait for a bit. My crank is warped and he said he would fix it. I hope it's not much to repair but shop is pretty clean and customer service is great from what I experienced. Brought my bike to Armen to have it checked to make sure everything was in working order for my upcoming century ride. From the get go I could tell Armen was a no BS kind of guy and was there to provide the best service he possibly could. He gave my ride a once over and said I needed a new chain, and would eventually need a new crankset cup and couple other small things here and there that would eventually need changing. Mind you he does not stock the parts for service because he usually has to order them but he did call local bike shops to find the parts if you need your bike done right then and there. We drove over to the local bike shop, got the parts needed and he changed my chain, adjusted my derailers, brakes, and he even washed the bike! My bike looks like a new penny and is shifting smooth as glass. Armen settled for nothing more than perfection, there might not be such thing but he tries to go at least close to perfect as he can. In summary, stand-up guy, great service, and just overall cool customer to be around. Would totally recommend him to other people and I'm sure it won't be the last time I bring my bike to him for tune-ups/repair. Oh, and he also gave me a free shirt!!! read more
