2 employees, and only 1 knew what she was doing. The other one took my friend while the other lady did my eyebrows and she literally just stood there and kept asking the one doing my eyebrows for help. She kept leaving me to help the other lady, my friend and I were there for over an hour. In the end, one of my eyebrows was over-plucked in one area and looks completely ridiculous. This place is so great, consistent, and affordable. The people are talented, and I have mostly gone in as walk in, which is nice. Everyone is really nice, and there is a waiting area to sit down. I usually let them do their work, and every time I am happy with the results because my eyebrows get really untamed. Came in at 10am the time they open. The girl was sitting down. And asked me if I have an appointment. I said no. She said she has appointments available after 11:30. I asked when her next appointment is she said someone is coming in at 10:30. So she pretty much she could've asked what I needed and I would've said eyebrows which shouldn't take more than 30 minutes. But instead sat down and wait 30 minutes for her 10:30am appointment.didn't offer anything else. Never coming back. It is currently 10:10am and I'm writing this review parked in front of the shop. I've been coming here for many years the girls are good and the lady is very sweet and good service sometimes they don't always how you in time but it happens no big deal; well this morning was beyond frustrating I had made an appointment for 10 am (that's the time they open ) I have to leave my kid at childcare lay for That because obviously we can't take no one with us but if your a mom you know everything you have to arrange before going anywhere to make it in time I waited and waited and no one was there yet to open up I wanted to leave but I had waited there already so I stayed the girl didn't show up until 10:30 30 minutes after they had to open once she opened the door she still left The salon and went next door I told her excuse me are you coming back it's late I had an appointment at 10 she just turned around saw me and left when she came back I told her you're late it would've been nice if you did a courtesy call to let me know how late you were going to be you could've made the appointment at 10:30 instead she said I know in a rude and arrogant way & that's the frustrating part that she didn't apologize I know she probably didn't care and it wasn't that long although when you're on a time limit it makes our schedule backed up especially if we have to be at work, on top of That she didn't do the full service she had to on my eyebrows since she was annoyed although she " was finished" I am not going back her careless rude attitude is not ok ! I have thick eyebrows and came in to Bibi's because I was tired of plucking and felt I needed cleaner lines than what I could get on my own. I was super happy with the result--a much more defined brow that kept my original shape. It made my whole face look brighter and cleaner. Yay! Daisy is wonderful...a pro in every sense. She greets guests with care and respect and lets you know they will be right with you. I have only ever had Daisy work on my brows, but the other ladies seem very competent. The price point is great too. $15.00 for my first time and it has been $13.00 every time I've come in since. It's a regular part of my routine now. I look so much better than I do when I maintain my own. Also, it is super convenient. I don't make an appointment and just walk in. At times there is virtually no wait, and at others there is a little bit of a wait. I make sure to come in when I'm not in a hurry and enjoy the upbeat Spanish language music they play. I could honestly say I loved it the girl I forgot her name but was very nice and she actually took her time. Naomi is the best she's super friendly and takes her time to make sure you are happy with the results. My sister and I always choose to go with her even if we have to wait longer. Second time in there on Monday. Erica worked on my eyebrows and she was great! Not only did she remember me but she said my eyebrows were easy to work on. I'm very picky when it comes to getting my brows threaded. I used to live in the east bay so it is something I have been getting done for a while and don't like my brows looking all muppet. When I first walked in the first thing I noticed was that these girls are all young Latinas.... That is not something common as every woman who has touched my eyebrows has been middle eastern. Next time I went I got this other lady she was old and I showed her a picture from the last time I got them done there( by Erica) and she hardly looked at the picture and I told her after she looked at the picture " I want to keep them thick" and use nodded and started my the end of the first eyebrow they where so thin and I hatted it ! Nice staff. Some of the girls do an ok job. It's certainly convenient vs having to drive to SJ or Gilroy. My biggest complaint is how long they take on each customer, which is a reflection of their experience and all the times they pause to have their side conversations. Most places get you out the door in 10 minutes and they do a great job. At BIbi's, plan on 1 to 2 hours.... minimum 1.5 hours with wait time (and the results are equal or sub-par). They have the potential of being a very profitable business in this area if they could work a little faster and get each customer in and out in 10 minutes. They turn down customers if you arrive an hour before, so get there early. read more
