Toppings include but are not limited to egg, lettuce, red cabbage, bean sprouts, beets, and carrots. They have a variety of sauces you can choose after the construction of your Bibimbap bowl. I recommend their house sauce if you aren't sure what to settle on. They also ask if you want sesame oil dashed onto your bowl -- do it. I've had their beef option and their tofu option. I've only taken my food to go, twice. But even so, my opinion of Bibille is high. It's my third favorite spot to grab a bite in Tarrytown. And here's why: It's basically a Korean Chipotle, with healthier options. What's not to love? For the bowl you get to choose between brown, white or purple rice and lettuce as a carb substation. Great right? Then you choose your meat. Spicy pork (YUM), beef (ALSO SUPER YUM.. it's a little sweet FYI), chicken, tofu, shrimp and mushroom. The best part of this is that they can give you samples of the meat before you make your decision. After that there are a variety of veggies you can add to your bowl and lastly, the sauce, which they also give you samples for. I gotta say, I'm a fan of the Bibille sauce and the Bibille HOT. Bibille is a great go-to restaurant in Tarrytown. The service is always quick, especially if you are just going for takeout. My normal order is a bowl with white rice, chicken, eggs, lettuce, cucumber, carrots, and bible sauce (sometimes with a taro bubble tea). If I could buy the Bibille sauce on its own I would. Instead, I like to see all my ingredients, methodically displayed in my bowl, then I just pick from each item. Menu is effortless and quick: first, pick your base of White, Brown or Purple Rice- or Lettuce. Then, pick your protein base of shrimp, mushroom, beef, chicken or pork- (great- that options other than meats, are offered here). Lastly, although all veggies and the julienned scrambled eggs are included, you have the upper hand on what you'd like to include in your bowl. I also had a Passion Fruit Bubble Slush, on the side. that was short of the real thing- but, it was drinkable though. Soft, ceiling lamps balance the interior brick walls. Atmosphere here, is to enjoy your Bibimbap, chat for a bit and wrap up. Service was pleasant and Jeremy added a few dashes of the Korean Hot Sauce- as I didn't want too much- but enough to get a kick in my dish. This is a great "fast-food" version of Korean fusion! I love bulgolgi and spicy pork with the purple rice! The house sauce is great with extra gojuchang! Fill the bowl with daikon, beets, carrots and cucumber! The only missing element is the raw egg but it's replaced with cooked egg. Not my thing I prefer the raw egg, but it's not in the hot cast iron bowl as it's traditionally served in! The staff is friendly and the environment reminds me of the KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) spots in queens! I will be coming back it's a must do! I arrived slightly before the lunchtime rush and got the spicy pork on purple rice upon the recommendation of a frequent Bibille customer (who basically goes every day). Although my friends both got the Bibille sauce and hot sauce, they warned me that I should just try it on the side, which I did (and am so thankful for). After all, the spicy pork is spicy enough! I tried a chopstick dipped in the hot sauce and realized I could not put that on mine at all. I got egg (so good!), cucumber, bean sprouts and carrots as toppings, and the Bibille and teriyaki sauces. I was a little worried that that would be super weird, but I ended up loving my bowl. This is a hidden gem in Tarrytown. The food is healthy, fast, and delicious. One of the things that makes this Korean fusion place unique is that it reminds us of a Korean Chipotle in the sense that instead of choosing a bowl at Chipotle you're making your own bibimbap. The meats and rice are also already pre-cooked too, so you'll get your food pretty fast. We had the beef bibimbap with purple rice and topped it with all of their vegetables, which included lettuce, radish, carrots, cucumbers, and sesame seeds. The dish was so delicious! It was also nice that behind the counter was expansive indoor seating and free water. We also ordered their green tea bubble tea, which was absolutely delicious. This used to be my favorite quick meal in the area. I've been a customer since they opened a few years ago. Despite the drama around the change in management, we continue to go although much less frequently. Previously when you ordered a bowl, it was filled with a generous portion of rice (a cup to a cup and a half) and topped with a healthy sized portion of protein. Veggies, sprouts, egg etc were thoroughly drained and placed neatly in the bowl sepperately. If you asked for a little extra of one thing or another it was no problem... If you asked for takeout, the lid was pressed down on your food fairly tightly keeping the arrangement from shifting. We used to admire the original team who always greeted us with a smile and took the extra few seconds to make sure our bowls were filled and presented neatly. Since new management came in, the quality has gone down. First the prices went up, then the portion sizes went down, and instead of draining the toppings and arranging them nicely, they are sloped on top of each other water and all. If you ask for a little more, they want to charge you for it. Tonight my bowl had an inch and a half of space between the lid and the food. I had about 3 tablespoons of rice on the bottom and about 2 tablespoons of pork (you'd find more in a $4 taco). To top it off the whole thing was soggy because they didn't bother draining anything... And the owner was giving the guy serving me a hard time about giving me too much. Honestly I'm questioning if I want to continue being a patron. If I wanted to spend $13 for a tossed salad with two bites of protein on top, there are other choices next door and across the street.. All of them do a better job and they at least take the time to drain the lettuce and toppings and serve a plate that looks good... And they don't have the audacity to scold an employee about serving a customer too much while the customer is standing there. read more

A great place for lunch in Tarrytown. The concept borrows heavily from the "build your own bowl" craze of Qdoba, Chipotle and others. But this is bibimbap! Do yourself a favor and get the purple rice and the spicy pork, they were absolutely delicious. The server was very friendly and built me a HEAPING portion of tasty Korean goodness. "With Korean food, it's important that we feast first with our eyes", he said to me, and he wasn't joking! For like $12 you really can't get more, better food in the area. Next time I'm going to have to actually get the Bibimbap because the sushi and ramen were just ok. We had an early dinner here and Split some plates and a ramen between us. The ramen was ok flavor, with pork pieces that were slightly chewy (not soft as I've come to expect). We also had a teriyaki bowl which was good. The miss here was the sushi. Spicy tuna roll was good, however the nigiri sushi was not. Salmon was partly frozen still, which explains their process apparently. Tuna was low quality mostly. Not fishy tasting but not the best. No extra plates available for dining in. We've eaten at a number of Tarrytown restaurants and this one doesn't measure up at least not this trip. This is a fast- style build your own bibimbap restaurant. I really enjoyed what I ordered. I personally love when food is customizable, so I really appreciate this place. The toppings are very simple and fresh. Shredded carrots, spiralized beets, shredded radish, cooked and sliced scrambled egg (a little different from the overeasy egg you may typically get), and more. Sauces were good too! The products were lacking the same care that the original family had put into their food. For example, purple rice had not been restocked, the perfectly foamy egg slices were nothing like the previous recipe and the chicken in our bowl was cut into huge chunks that were bone dry, stone hard, and inedible.
