The managers, who also own the deli next door, care deeply about both their staff and customers. It's a warm environment with a genuine community feel -- definitely the kind of place where you can sit down, relax, and enjoy your food or drink without feeling rushed. The staff is highly trained and super accommodating with any drink or food modifications you might want. Whether you're picky about your latte or have dietary needs, they'll make sure you get exactly what you want. One thing that always stood out to me was how spotless everything was -- the espresso machines are cleaned daily, blenders washed after every use, and food is always handled with gloves and hair tied up. Sanitation and quality are clearly top priorities. While I did experience some challenges as an employee, mainly due to a bit of a learning curve and limited training at the start, I can confidently say that as a customer, you'll receive excellent service and a consistently great experience. It's a small business run with heart, and that's something you can feel the moment you walk in.

Visit Date: May 15, 2021…read more I came upstate with my cousin and my father to visit my friend Jon and his girlfriend. Jon posted about his titanic coffee because they live in the area and I wanted to try it. My father treated all of us and gave about $60 to the coffee shop for the day. I forgot what drink I had but I liked it, they also had gluten free wrap options so I got the chicken Caesar salad wrap which was awesome I don't have wraps often because sometimes a gluten free option isn't around and a chicken Caesar salad wrap is one of my favorites. They did a good job. My son had some ice cream and enjoyed it, I think my dad enjoyed his food too so did my cousin. The gimick of this shop if you want to call it a gimick is that they have $6 reproduction prints of the article and newspaper of the Titanic sinking. That's why they call themselves Titanic coffee. If you're in the area I'd recommend coming here and I'd even recommend it if you're like me and just like to drive out of the way for stuff on day trips here and there to get some different scenery.

I stopped by for the first time yesterday and was honestly a little overwhelmed by the massive variety of smoothies and add-ons. Pressed for time, I went with the Lemon Ginger Spinach veggie blend, recommended by the incredibly helpful and patient Courtney. I couldn't have been happier--it was the perfect sweet and refreshing post-workout recovery blend. Impressed and wanting more, I used their app to order the Gladiator Chocolate smoothie for pickup after work... and wow--so chocolatey and decadent! Prices are super reasonable for the portion sizes, and the convenience is unmatched. Definitely my new go-to. Don't hesitate--stop by, you won't be disappointed.

Had there been something local nearby, we should have opted for that. SK offers various drinks (refreshers, weight management, vegan, favorites, etc). Their smallest size is 20 oz (around $8 each) and goes up to 44 oz, which seems like you're just asking for sugar trouble. They try to use clever marketing to put a veil of healthiness on their drinks like added ginger or a boost of this or that. Also they don't put the ingredients or nutrients information anywhere to clearly let consumers know what's in the drinks. Service was lackluster and not personalized, with staff milling around creating drinks and not knowing what was going on holistically. We waited for our drinks while everyone was getting theirs because they were put in the to-go fridge with no callouts to our name. They have a rewards system that may be worth it if you patronize them often. For a small place, they also have a bathroom which is great.

That is, until I was in downtown White Plains and noticed that a new PB location was opening soon. This piqued my interest to find out more about the company, and I came to learn that they specialized in açaí bowls. I was working in Westchester the other day and noticed that there was a PB in here in Tarrytown, so I decided to head over and check them out for lunch. This PB is located on Main St in the heart of Tarrytown's commercial hub. Walking in, you're immediately greeted by the menu and ordering counter/production. The aesthetics were bright, with mostly light blues and grey wood tones throughout the space. The large windows in the front let a lot of light in, and there are stools that line the perimeter. While açaí and pitaya bowls are the star of the menu, PB also serves smoothies, juices, and coffee. Additionally, they carry snacks made by various companies. I was here for an açaí bowl; they have a large selection with all of them containing the açaí base along with banana and other components. The tropical bowl looked good - in addition to the açaí and banana, it contained granola, pineapple, coconut flakes, and honey. I really enjoyed it - it was a generous portion without being too big, the fruit was fresh, and it played against the cold açaí and crunchy granola. Service was fast and friendly; I decided to take my order to go and they provided a lid and bag for easy transport. Overall, I was impressed with my first Playa Bowls experience - they have a large variety, and the ability to have multiple flavor combinations keeps every visit fresh. I'm looking forward to them opening in White Plains and exploring more of their menu.
