Beautiful place with a seamless business operation. The coffee and lattes tastes amazing, carefully crafted and without chemical aftertaste. We both had the Maple Butter Sausage sandwich and agreed it was the BEST breakfast sandwich we have had in our lives, lol. The portion was extremely generous (i wasn't able to finish) and the flavors were so well executed. You can taste the actual maple without it being overbearing on the sandwich. I couldn't help but order one of their in house made pop tarts, and it was quite amazing. So amazing that I ordered two more to take home. Finally, but just as important as all of the above, is the staff. Warm, efficient and very down to earth. I love this place! Can't wait to escape upstate again and visit here!

I am personally not vegetarian but this place is 100%. Make a reservation if you can, especially on weekends. It gets very busy! One of my favorites is the Chagall Bowl, but I always substitute the grain for Israeli couscous. I personally think it's so much better that way! I've ordered it countless times and still haven't gotten tired of it. I also really love their shakshuka, which is such a good option when I'm in the mood for something warm and comforting. Another favorite of mine is the goat cheese malawach. If you've never tried it, I definitely recommend it! The pastry is flaky and buttery, and I love the combination with the goat cheese. It's one of those dishes I don't see offered at many other places, which is part of why I love coming here. But I have to say, one of the biggest reasons I keep coming back is their chai tea late. I'm not exaggerating when I say it's the best chai I've ever had. I don't know exactly what they do differently, but nothing I've had elsewhere compares. I honestly wish I could make it at home because I crave it all the time. I also really like the atmosphere here. It's a cute, cozy spot, and I've always enjoyed coming here whether it's for a full meal or just something to drink. It can definitely get busy, but I think that says a lot about how much people enjoy it. Art Cafe has been one of my go-to spots for years, and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
