I was in White Plains and saw the sign for Whale Tea--so excited to see that it was a boba shop! The shop is cute, and they have several self-service kiosks for ordering. The two baristas were friendly. I decided to order an egg waffle and was given a choice of ice cream flavors. They made the waffle fresh, and it was warm, crunchy, and delicious--a perfect treat for the cold weather. The ice cream added a nice sweetness. If I'm ever in the area again, I'd love to try their boba!

Love this place! I absolutely love this spot. I'm so glad it's open and convenient to get to. I love their boba tea, chai, green tea matcha and brown sugar milk tea. Everything I've ordered here has been delicious. I'd recommend coming here and trying out their drinks. They're freshly made and they have an expansive menu. There is indoor seating available. There are a few tables and there is counter seating available, too. I love trying new drinks here. Everything I've tried so far has been great. I can't wait to stop by again soon!

Crazy that drinks are nearly $9/each nowadays (listed prices don't include toppings). Didn't realize there were non-creme brulee options, but it was a fun experience to try! Will try their normal oolong milk tea or fruit slushy when it warms up. People are nice. The location was a bit hard to find - it's across the street from the Japanese restaurant. The storefront is small, no labeling on the top/building, but just look for 148A. Cute little tables, but could use a few more (feels a bit empty). Kids loved the music and the lights/decor.

Haven't stoped by in a while and decided to check it out again. The drinks are really good, and the boba is super chewy. The drinks were made super fast and they have lots of seats/ table.

Sure you can get Bubble Tea at Tous Les Jours inside Hmart- but, White Plains is finally rejoicing with the first ever, stand-alone Bubble Tea spot. I've always relied on Tous L. Jours primarily for their Lychee Bubble Tea- so when my friend Jason M. visited The Whale Tea on Mamaroneck Ave in Downtown White Plains, I ventured also. When it comes to Bubble Tea I don't deviate much. I'm obsessed and addicted to anything Lychee- so I always make sure I get a Lychee slush or tea. But I also wanted to veer off a bit and get a second drink out of my comfort zone. Large overhead menu lists a variety of combinations, teas with chunky fruit, regular Boba Teas, milk-based drinks and a few other things. The queue can get long- but you can order from their screen (or in advance?). Service was nice and my large Lychee Bubble Tea, had the right balance of flavors and my Créme Brûlée Brown Sugar Milk Tea was good especially with a slight visual effect going on. I'm rooting for Whale T.- I think these folks will go the distance.

I had just finished doing a photoshoot and my instant crave was bubble tea!!!! Looked up a few spots on Yelp and landed here. Walked into this cute little tea shop and it was so fun being able to order and customize my own drink right from the standing ordering screen. You can order from the counter as well if you prefer. It was so easy to customize my drink: sweetness level, milk type, percentage of amount of ice, toppings and all the good stuff! Paid right at the ordering stand, signed up to receive text messages about my order, took a few pics, blinked and in no time my tea was served! I do love that I could actually order a size that wasn't huge! Don't get me wrong, there's times I want the standard (large) size but it was nice to be able to order something smaller for that quick craving. Great spot in downtown White Plains! Parking can be a little tricky but worth it.

I was in downtown White Plains when I noticed that The Whale Tea had recently opened. After some quick research I found out that this was a bubble tea spot, which got me excited not only because of a new business opening downtown but one that White Plains has not seen before. I was running some errands in the area and thought it would be a good opportunity to check them out and grab some tea. TWT is a small franchise that has a few locations in the NYC Metro Area. It's not a super large spot, but quite spacious inside with a big area for ordering and a few tables and stools along the perimeter. The decor is simple but clean - it was just enough to get the aesthetic message across. I noticed a couple of ordering kiosks, but you can also order at the counter. Since it wasn't busy I decided to just order at the counter. The menu has a good selection, similar to other bubble tea spots I've been to. You have the option to customize the sweetness level of most of the teas, and I noticed some of them can be modified to non-dairy. The strawberry milk tea stood out to me the most, so I went with that. My order was ready in no time, and after a good shake I was enjoying the tea. It was quite good - the strawberry flavor was present but not overpowering, and the boba really enhanced the drink. Service was fast and friendly, and overall I had a great first experience at The Whale Tea. I'm really glad that they came to White Plains, it's great to see the food scene in the city diversifying even more. I would definitely return to explore more of their menu.

I am over the top excited that there is finally a legit bubble tea shop in westchester! It's a bit pricey, almost $8 for a large drink but I don't even care. I tried the strawberry milk tea..the boba was soft, sweet and warm which to me means fresh. The menu is big, I haven't been brave enough to stray far from my basic usuals..yet. There are 2 separate monitors where you can place your own order, or the kind woman at the register will take it for you. I will be going back again today to bring a fellow bubble tea lover to enjoy this adorable place and have her first 'brown sugar bubble tea'.

My absolute favorite boba place ever. Everything from the tea to the boba is just immaculate. The boba balls are so chewy and delicious always and the tea is always so fresh and flavorful. Specifically their taro boba has my heart, because they use the fresh taro opposed to the typical purple 'taro' powder most places use. Fresh always wins when it comes to flavors and my oh my that fresh taro I get at least twice a week. It's just that good. Whenever I'm not in the neighborhood and have to settle for a different boba place it's just not the same and I often don't end up finishing the drink, unlike when I get Whale Tea I'm always finishing the drink and thirsty for more.

So happy that a really good bubble tea spot opened up in the area. I've had all the slushy drinks and they're all amazing but my favorite has to be the mango with the strawberry popping boba. Another amazing drink is the blue crystal with regular tapioca. The brown sugar boba and fresh taro bubbles teas are pretty good too.

I have been here twice already and I really love this spot already! I'm in White Plains quite often and I crave bubble tea very often. Their selections go from simple, fun, and unique. If you are vegan like myself, you can get their milk tea options with almond or oat milk. For my first visit, I did the rose milk tea with oat milk. They always use brown sugar boba for their drinks. For the mango tea I got peach jelly. Both drinks were so refreshing and delicious. This place is also a chain based in CT so I'm very happy they came to Westchester. One of the best addition to the city of White Plains

gave soo much jelly and no tea what's is going on here?

My favorite drink is still the Earl grey milk tea with 3J's. (Pearls, Pudding & Herbal Jelly).
