This was my first time at Bibibop, but wasn't as impressed as I've heard others describe this restaurant. I went during lunch hours and this particular was extremely busy, they even ran out of water cups. Limited seating if you are looking to dine in. I ordered the spicy chicken over noodles with Yum Yum and spicy sriracha sauces. The veggie toppings were really good. The mistake I made was ordering chicken because you could taste a little of the raw meat itself. It was not good at all. If I decide to back, then I will order tofu, but would not recommend the chicken.

My most visited spot during my trip! Extremely generous portions, but even tastier bowls! Fresh ingredients, and really friendly staff! Kind of pricey, but super worth it!!

I recently went to bibibop and was pleasantly surprised by how friendly the people were and the food was delightful. I have celiac and it's hard to find places to eat at out of the house. You can sample the ingredients which was very helpful. They have an outside area with extra seating. The drink selection was great with many different tea options included in the regular drink price. They had complementary soup as well. I look forward to enjoying bibibop often.

A fast food buffet style kind of Bibimbap bar. It's not buffet, but it definitely reminds me of Korea's buffet Bibimbap bars. Simple ingredients in a bowl that you get to choose. I requested purple rice, but didn't get any purple rice. So I was a little disappointed as I expected rice, but its a pretty typical Bibimbap place. It's great to see this fast to go food bar style in Chicago and for Bibimbap! Nothing special about the food here, but since there are not many Bibimbap places or Korean food places in the area in general, a great stop for some healthy Korean food. And, can't really go wrong with some rice/veggies and whatever else delicious toppings/sides you love.

I have tried all the Chicago area Bibibops. I am updating this review 10-22-24 bc I appreciate the attention and consideration by the team. Thank you. Smallest in size but it doesn't matter to me. There is no parking but that's expected in the downtown area. It's right across the street from DePaul University. The more important things are: food portions and taste of the food and the peace and atmosphere of the store. The portions were originally the smallest here but when I returned after my review the portions were bigger thank you! The Korean K-pop music is totally fine w me and it was no longer too loud that my ears did not hurt. I did not have to put my noise canceling AirPods on like last time thank you. My personal favorite is the Des Plaines IL location. Generous portions and food was very fresh and the location is super clean. Free and easy parking there. Nice thing about this location downtown is that it has a bathroom which is always nice to have. Overall I love Bibibop and I appreciate having a downtown location.Thank you again for listening ... means the world to me bc I love Bibibop!

If you like chipotle and Asian food, you'll love this place. This is a good mix of both. The bowls are very generous, imo bigger portions than chipotles bowls. The service here is friendly and fast. Very casual grab and go! I'd come here again on a hungry and busy day

Delicious and the whole place is gluten free! This is a new favorite. It was clean. The regular sized bowl was enough for 2 meals for me. Everyone that worked there was friendly and helpful.

May I just say, where has this been all my life?? I was recently able to try my first Bibibop bowl when they came to my workplace Fooda station. I was blown away! This bowl was so fresh, so delicious! The portion was incredibly generous for the price (something other Fooda vendors tend to skimp on). I will for sure be trying Bibibop Asian Grill again!

BIBIBOP is my go to place whenever I am in the area. Miso soup is self-serve and is included with the meal, it is always delicious and always warms me up especially on these colder night. I usually make my own bowl and the ingredients are always fresh and the sauces are tasty. The employees are polite and the place is always clean. The portions are big enough to have leftovers. I am definitely your fan and will be coming back many times. Keep up the good work!

Took advantage of their BOGO bowls promotion and got lunch and dinner. The "chef-curated" teriyaki tofu bowl was listed under "customer favorites" on the online menu, and it was easy to tell why. The bowl tasted fresh and hearty, though it didn't dispel my misgivings about unsweet black beans in a loosely bibimbop-type prep. The "free" bowl was a build-your-own in small, yet it was volumetrically and by weight the larger bowl, and built from cold ingredients (tofu, carrots, kale, corn, pickled red cabbage, broccoli, and egg over salad greens) that could wait to be eaten, it made a substantial dinner, though unlike the chef-curated bowl, actually needed its sauce for flavor, so I'll keep my day job. The online ordering process was just about frictionless: my order was waiting for me in a spotless store where the other customer was awaiting the rest of a catering order that looked vividly healthy and tasty in its trays. As for the bowls I ordered, they were just the thing for an unseasonably warm late-December afternoon and evening, but I'm looking forward to trying them again, no matter the season.

Lovely service. Cafeteria style. You have different choices of protein and starch- noodles or rice. You also chose your own flavors and condiments. They have vegetarian options too. Food was fresh and healthier than most fast food options. Busy area. Very limited street parking.

We ordered like the PERFECT amount of food and best variety. Roast duck: I honestly don't know if I've ever had duck before, but I'm a duck believer now. The skin on theirs was the perfect crispy shatter texture and the duck was sooooo juicy! I don't know why I was always so worried about it being gamey. They give you fluffy steamed bao buns, a sauce, and scallions on the side as well as duck fried rice! Turnip cake: Obviously a must any time I come to dim sum. I've never seen turnip in any other form than this. Japanese salt & pepper tofu: My FAVORITE dish ever. Any fried salt & pepper tofu always makes me happy. They use a creamy egg-like tofu and the outside is lightly crispy with amazing aromatics stir fried in. Steamed white rice on the side is perfect with this. Loved everything else my dinner buds picked and we were super full by the end! Service was good and food came out fast and scorching hot! ***Parking in the area is treacherous (not the restaurants fault, but reconsider driving if possible bc cell signal can be zero to none around the garages if you get lucky) ***Their website allows you to request a reservation as long as it's 3 hours before your desired time. We came on a Saturday evening around dinner time and there was plenty of room for us to get a table immediately as walk-ins!

I will start with the ambiance, since that was the best thing about the place and what kept it an overall "3." It was nice enough. Not perfect but above average on the ambiance. Second, I will talk about the service. I hate to say it but it was pretty poor. Staff was inattentive. Never offered a single refill on my drink nor my water. I don't like a hovering server but these folks were AWOL. Third, the Food. I started with the hot and sour soup. Again, it was below average Maybe the worst I have ever had. The best part of the meal was the pork and shrimp Siu Mai and the Shrimp Dumpling with Green Chive. These dishes were "5's." Finally, I ordered a Beijing (Peking) duck. i have eaten this dish from coast to coast. Of all the peking duck I have had in all my travels, this was the worst. Flavor was fine. Wings and drumsticks were cool and a little dry. The skin of the duck was crispy and had good flavor, but the meat was non-existent. I ordered a whole duck and took back a lot of leftovers. But here was the deal. I truly believe that they cobbled a duck together so to speak from remnants of other ducks they had served this night. Several of the pieces were nothing but skin. No meet whatsoever. It was really the worst presentation of duck I have ever had at a restaurant that claims to do this dish well. Who knows, maybe tonight was an off night. But I will not be going back. Enter in at your own risk!

It felt much classier, like a mid-century modern tiki lounge. The music was fun too. Instantly recognized a retro Italian song by Pino D'Anglo, which just added to the ambiance. It focuses on rare rums and carefully crafted drinks, so book ahead if you want the full treasure. The main bar is heavily themed, with excellent tiki décor, dark corners, island music, skulls, colorful lighting, and the sort of atmosphere that makes you wonder whether you've entered a cocktail lounge or been captured by a particularly stylish pirate crew. The tiki theme is taken seriously, and the vibes are absolutely perfect. We sat at the bar and only ordered drinks, although food is available. The cocktails were beautifully crafted, delicious, and presented in a way that practically begs to be photographed. The bartenders were knowledgeable, entertaining, and a great deal of fun. Three Dots is also known for its extensive rum program, featuring more than 300 rums and rhum agricoles. We visited during the Christmas season and spent about two hours enjoying the holiday-themed drinks. Thankfully, the regular menu was available as well, so there was plenty of treasure to explore. Do not miss the gift shop. They have excellent merchandise, including limited-edition tiki mugs and apparel. We purchased a tiki mug, a shirt, and a beanie, which I now proudly wear while scavenging the island and searching for the rest of the treasure marked on my map. Three Dots and a Dash is one of the most memorable tiki bars I've visited. The drinks are excellent, the atmosphere is immersive, the staff are wonderful, and the entire experience feels like discovering a secret tropical kingdom beneath the streets of Chicago. Compliments to their curated Pandora playlist. I ordered the the spicy scallop roll, super san roll, and sawara (Spanish mackerel) nigiri. The spicy scallop roll was my favorite. The super san roll was a mix of their toro with varying fattiness. I appreciated that you could order half rolls at Sushi-San, which came out to 5 pieces instead of 10. The manager and the food runner were nice when we mentioned it, but our actual server was a disaster. When we tried the Goat Noodles, all we could taste was cumin. It was so overwhelming that it covered up everything else. We couldn't even tell if there was actually any goat shoulder in there. When we told our waiter, she couldn't care less. She got totally defensive, wouldn't even listen to us, and just said, "Oh, I told you when you ordered that the dish is cumin forward" and walked away. It got worse when the bill came. She was holding on to the payment machine so hard and almost yanked it right out of my friend's hand. She was staring at it to see what we were tipping. It was so awkward and incredibly rude.
