After having procrastinated having my wisdom teeth pulled, I finally decided to find an oral surgeon to help me out. I am extremely nervous when it comes to any kind of doctor s appointment...especially ones involving pain! I called the office to see if they would accept my dental insurance (MetLife) and Dr. Bialy was in the network. I scheduled my consult for a pre-op type appointment. The receptionist was extremely polite and informative. She told me she would check my benefits ahead of time so that I knew exactly how much I needed to pay. I loved this because I find that most offices leave their patients in the dust when it comes to benefits. When I came in for my consult, I walked into a beautiful office that instantly comforted me. The staff is fully female and I also found this relaxing. I was taken in right away for a panoramic x-ray and then to the consult room. I did wait about 5 minutes for the doctor to come but this was nothing compared to my last one hour wait at another specialist. I was incredibly surprised by her friendliness and her personable bedside manner. She explained my x-ray to me with words I could understand but also not treating me like an idiot. After she explained that I would undoubtedly need all four wisdom removed, she left to let the billing people talk to me about my payments and scheduling surgery. The billing woman came in and told me about how much is covered by my insurance including deductibles and such. This woman was also very helpful in putting the insurance coverage into ways that made it easy for me to understand. I did have to pay my percentage up front which I did expect from a specialist s office. They said they would submit to medical also and if the covered anything, I would be refunded any overage on my part. I received very informative pre-op paperwork with instructions. They also explained that they had payment plan options in case I needed it. I was ready for surgery the following week. I was still nervous about the surgery but I felt very comfortable with the staff. I was sedated but my husband said they took great care of me once I woke up. I was sent home with detailed post-op instructions and materials as well as emergency contact info. I had a great recovery and my check up appointment went smoothly. Recently I was there to get my wisdom teeth removed. I had to get all 4 of them removed at the same time, and my dad had some dental work done by Alexandra so I set up an appointment to meet with her. When I arrived to the office the staff was so nice to me and looked so cute in their pink scrubs, everything was very clean and organized and they were very quick in taking me in. I was sitting in the little room waiting for her to go over my x-rays, and in walks in Alexandra and she is the cutest woman ever. So nice, so bubbly and energetic, very happy to do her job. She went over everything that was going to happen and gave me a few forms to read of how to take care of the extraction sights, what medication I should be taking, etc. Comes the day of the surgery and I am TERRIFIED. I absolutely hate anything involving surgery and needles, and the staff and Alexandra really helped calm me down, and one of the nurses even held my hand as the needle was being put into my hand to go under which was super helpful for me. After I woke up, she asked me how I was feeling, went over how to take care of the wound, to my mom of course because I wasn't paying attention and was hopped on happy gas LOL. She even gave me a phone number to text if I did have any questions or concerns and another number if an emergency happens after hours, and I did text her later that night cause I was concerned about the bleeding and she responded right away. So 10/10, she was awesome, the staff is awesome, I defiantly recommend to go to her if you need some dental work done! read more

Fantastic! Amazing! Highly Recommend! I originally came to this office back in November of 2015. I had a tooth break through my gum and was in some pretty severe pain. I was able to get in at the last minute to be seen by Dr. Bialy. She attended to all my needs. After having the tooth extracted she even called later that night for a follow up. Because of this I agreed to go back and have my wisdom teeth finally pulled after 10 years of multiple dentist trying to get the business of pulling them. Due to her excellent service and staff I over came what I was dreading and went thru with having them pulled. The staff was amazing! Friendly, comforting, and very considerate. I am not a fan when it comes to dentist but the attitude of the staff along with Dr. Bialy put me at ease. It has been a week since I have had them pulled and no pain what so ever. I heard horror stories of people being bruised, swollen, and in extreme pain afterwards, I had non of that! If your looking for a great dentist, friendly staff, and a clean place this is where you want to go. I will recommend this office to any one I know. If I could give this place more stars I would because it is well deserved. Even dealing with the financial end was smooth and easy. Know exactly what I needed to pay ahead of time no hidden fees. So if your worried about balances being different or being charged for more things you Dont! Had two wisdom teeth extracted from Dr. Bialy and could not have been happier with the whole process. I had a severe tooth ache for a couple of days so I scheduled the first appointment I could get with my family dentist, he told me my wisdom tooth was infected and referred me to Dr. Bialy's office. I called Dr. Bialy's office and was able to schedule an appointment to get both my remaining wisdom teeth extracted five days later! I have never been put under so I was a bit nervous but she was very thorough with her explanation of the process and answered all questions I had. Later that evening my husband received a phone call from Dr. Bialy asking about my recovery and how I was doing and asked if she could answer any further questions. I felt no pain during my recovery I was mostly uncomfortable and a little hungry from the soft food diet. One week from the surgery I had a follow up appointment she said everything was healing perfectly and gave me more tools to help keep the area clean. I never had to wait past my scheduled appointment time, I received reminder calls from her office before my appointments and everyone was friendly and helpful and the insurance was taken care of right away. If I could give this experience 6 stars I would! I came in about 2 and a half weeks ago to talk about getting my wisdom teeth removed and had no idea what to expect. My X-Rays were immediately done and discussed, I was told what to do and what to expect, my surgery date was scheduled, and was prescribed appropriate medication to have ready by my surgery. Quick, professional, and easy. I left feeling less anxious about my surgery and more knowledgeable on the subject. A couple weeks later, I came in to have my surgery. Dr. Bialy and the assistants were fabulous at making me feel comfortable. Everything was very clean and organized, and the recovery room felt like more like a spa than a typical recovery room. I left painless and comfortable. Dr. Bialy even called me me the evening of my surgery to check up on how I was feeling! I recently had only two follow ups post surgery, and they both went fabulous as well. Dr. Bialy cared about how I was doing with the pain and did everything to cater to my needs. I would highly recommend Dr. Bialy to anyone who is looking for professional, up to date, and caring dental work. She made my wisdom tooth surgery a breeze and not a stressful, painful experience. I will give full marks to Dr Bialy for extractions.I had one of my wisdom tooth removed. No swelling, no pain and she did a brilliant job in less than a minute, it was a local anethsia. She seems very professional. After the extraction, she mentioned that there will be some pain and swelling. She also gave pain killer. But there was no pain at all and swelling, blood stopped pretty quickly also and i was eating normally the next day. Before this i went to the dental clinic Hanover Dental at 7640 Barrington Road Hanover Park and the lady doctor was scared to take my tooth out and made me scared that if she does that, chances are the teeth will break as it is having a small cavaty and i will have to run to an oral dental surgeon, so better to an oral surgeon. Therefore i went to Dr Bialy as it the list of my Metlife Insurance, i was not aware of her and had not read any review. I had to pay $139 out of pocket which covered tooth extraction and panaromic ex ray rest was covered by Metlife. I had to wait 30 minutes extra. I had a very nice experience at Dr Biali's office. I needed some emergency care a few years back, so she took care of me back then, and she advised me to get my wisdom teeth removed in the near future. 5 years went by, and I finally built up the courage to do it. I made an appointment over the phone, the receptionist was very friendly and she found my information right away. The day of the procedure, I waited for less than 10 minutes to go in, they had already called my insurance company, and I was ready to go. The office is very clean and sun filled, they made me feel very comfortable before sedation. The little rest area they had me take a nap in was very comfortable, and when I woke up, the doctor was sitting on the edge of the bed, making sure that I felt good. She called me a few hours later to make sure I was alright. The billing department assured me that they will promptly follow up with my insurance as well. Dr. Bialy and her staff has provided a great experience for me through a number of dental procedures for a number of years. Based on her staff working through my dual insurance coverage, a planned approach was possible to financially accommodate the dental work that was needed. Dr. Bialy has demonstrated good bed side manners in being sensitive to my concerns and continuously providing a positive perspective. For each surgical procedure, a follow-up wellness call by Dr. Bialy herself was reassuring in attending to my needs and concerns. The equipment in this office appear to be quite advanced from a patient perspective, particularly the X-Ray machine that provides a full circumference scan that provided a nearly real-time visual of the bone structure for the implants. I work at a dental office myself and Ive heard nothing but good things about Dr Bialy. Also a lot of our patients give positive feedback. I looked up her office and noticed she did not have high ratings. I felt iffy about going to her office and felt even more iffy when I got there from the outside the location looked outdated but lets not forget looks can be deceiving. I decided to give her a chance and I do not regret it at all. Dr Bialy is such an outstanding woman. She informed me of the procedure I was going to undergo and explained everything nice and clear so that I understood. The healing process was very smooth. I did not experience any traumatizing events. The office looked very clean and updated. Overall super happy with the work of not only Dr Bialy but her staff as well. Dr. Bialy is an excellent oral surgeon! She is friendly, caring, and compassionate. She recently extracted my daughters four wisdom teeth and the entire process from the consultation to the post surgery follow up appointments were such a good experience for both my daughter and myself. From the clean office, to the friendly staff, to the timely manner in which we were seen and most importantly how Dr. Bialy made my daughter feel comfortable through the entire process. Dr. Bialy is not only skillful in her expertise, but you can tell she truly enjoys what she does. I just told her this morning as we were coming out of my daughters last follow up check up that I will most definitely bring my other three children to her if and when they need their wisdom teeth extracted. I was referred to Dr. Bialy to get all four of my wisdom teeth extracted. She definitely made the whole process very comfortable for me since I never had any type of surgery before! She was able to give me a lot of great information on how I can properly take care of my mouth before my follow-up appointment with her. Her office gave me her emergency contact number in case something happened- which by the way she answered her phone right away when I thought something happened, but it didn't turn up to be anything bad! My wisdom teeth extraction went very smoothly! I didn't have any pain or irritation whatsoever since the surgery. Either I heal fast, or Dr. Bialy did an amazing procedure to alleviate any pain or problem that I have to endure! Dr. Bialy was very nice and professional. I came there to have 2 teeth extracted and were impacted. She was able to get it done quickly, and with almost no discomfort. She took the time to explained everything to me in advance. Her office was bright and clean and organized as well as her staff who were very curteous and knew exactly what they were doing. She appears to have state of the art equipment and she took cat scans, and was able to show me everything on a large tv screen. After the procedure she took the time to explain exactly what to expect and how I was to care for myself and follow up with her in the near future. I was referred to Dr.Bialy from my regular dentist since my wisdom teeth were bothering me. I'm honestly so glad I went and got it done, this was my first surgery and I was super nervous. Dr. Bialy really cares about her patients and she was probably the nicest person I've ever meet. Her staff are super welcoming and the whole place is very professional and clean. First appointment I got my X-ray, Dr. Bialy told me everything I needed to know about the procedure and the after effects. I got all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed, Dr.Bialy checked on me after surgery and even later in the evening she called to make sure I was okay. Dr. Bialy has removed the wisdom teeth from both of my children. One of my kids had impacted and infected wisdom teeth. In both cases, their surgeries went flawlessly and they both recovered quickly, without any complications. The office is clean and modern - xrays and other information are projected onto a TV screen so that the patient and their parents/spouses/friends can clearly see them. Dr. Bialy, herself, takes the time to explain exactly what is going to happen and answers any questions or concerns that the patient (and others) may have. Dr. Bialy and her staff are absolutely amazing! Everyone was so friendly. I got a wisdom tooth pulled today and the doctor and nurse told me jokes to distract me. The doctor gave me a lot of information before and after the procedure and allowed me the time to ask questions. Not to mention, the office is high tech and so clean! Not like any other dental office I've ever been to. I waited only 5 minutes. And most importantly, Dr. Bialy called me a few minutes ago to check how I was doing! I had to have all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed back in December 2009 so I decided to go to this office. I had never had surgery before so I was extremely nervous! The staff at the front desk was extremely friendly and I waited less than 10 minutes before I was taken into a procedure room. I had heard horror stories of people having their wisdom teeth removed but Dr. Bialy made the experience as pleasant as possible. Doctor Bialy was extremely kind. I am not Polish and I felt very welcome and well taken care of by this group of women. You don't typically enjoy any part of the wisdom teeth extraction process, but for me getting to meet and see Doctor Bialy multiple times was VERY enjoyable. She is a very kind and amiable person and though getting your wisdom teeth out can be painful I felt very well taken care of. I was asleep for the procedure and when I woke up I was given plenty of time to regain consciousness (no silly wisdom teeth videos for me). I had four wisdom teeth removed in January 2018. The staff in the reception area were amazing and very very compassionate. In my opinion, this is Ideal culture for walking into this type of situation. Most importantly, Dr Bialy was very thorough in explaining options and her opinions. After consultation, she expressed some tough love while extracting teeth. Do the anesthesia instead of staying awake like i did btw!
