The woman at the front desk was very helpful in getting us checked in and assisting us as our current insurance was ending that month. My hygienist was pleasant and went into detail issues she saw. I'm one of those patients who love a good, deep cleaning and she did not disappoint. The dentist was thorough with his plan of care with me, and answered all my questions regarding it as well. My husband is someone who is hard to please, and he stated he would like to stick with this office after his experience with his appointment as well. I have avoided dentists for a long time, going once every two years for a cleaning. I went nearly 4 years before going to see the Dr's as Zorillas office. They did not shame me, they reassured me this was a wonderful step to taking care of myself. That I deserved to take care of myself. For the office being labeled as cosmetic, they do not push at all for whitening or straightening, or anything you didn't book for. They did my cleaning and asked if I had questions about additional services, gave me a goodie bag and booked me for a cavity fill that I paid my copay for, and after that appt they booked me 6 months out. Truly wonderful, kind, compassionate, understanding and reassuring people work here and I am actually excited for my upcoming appointments

Not the Same Practice Anymore…read more We used to love coming to this office when it was run by Dr. Turnwald and his team. My kids actually enjoyed going to the dentist, and the entire staff was fantastic. About a year ago, I was having tooth pain and called to set up an appointment, and I was pleasantly surprised to get in the same day. However, when I showed up, I found out the entire old staff and Dr. Turnwald had left, and the practice had been sold to a new doctor--without any notice. Even the text and email confirmations still had the old dentist's name, so it was pretty frustrating to show up and find an entirely new staff and doctor. While the new staff was nice and the doctor was okay, the whole experience felt off-putting since I booked the appointment thinking it was still my family's trusted dentist. I also really missed my old hygienist, who always made visits easy for my kids. Honestly, had they been more upfront about the change when I called, it might not have left such a sour taste in my mouth. But now, I drive 30 minutes out of my way to see Dr. Black, where she has her own practice, and it's worth it for the care we receive. Most of the positive Yelp reviews here are for the old practice under Dr. Turnwald, and it says a lot that the entire staff left when he did. We've since followed Dr. Black to new office, and our family is much happier for it.

The care she received from every single person at the office went a long way in having my mom comfortable with her cleaning and x-rays. Sure, the front desk and initial visit feel overly welcoming, but that quickly fades once you're actually in the chair. The quality of care during treatment is completely different; rushed, inattentive, and honestly frustrating. There's a clear disconnect between how they present themselves upfront and how things actually run behind the scenes. Another huge red flag is how often the staff changes. Every time I've been there, it feels like there's a whole new team. That kind of turnover says a lot, and it definitely affects the consistency of care. The doctor herself is very avoidant. It's hard to get direct answers or feel like your concerns are being taken seriously. On top of that, not even wearing loupes during procedures feels unprofessional and careless & especially in a setting where precision matters. On top of everything, the office itself is noticeably dirty. It doesn't feel clean or well-maintained, which is the last thing you want in a medical or dental setting. I paid tens of thousands of dollars, and when I got my permanent dentures they didn't fit-not even close. They did a few adjustments and then said any further adjustments would cost $350 per adjustment (in addition to the $18,000 I already had paid.) They did not finish the job promised, and now I need new dentures. When I was told it would cost even MORE than paid, I told them absolutely not. Not one more cent. A week later I received a letter saying I was no longer welcome. The $1000 they offered in 'good will' was tied to a silence clause. Since then, I have someone who really knows what he's doing. I have needed a lot of work with the dentures from Smile Pro Studio at additional cost just to fit well enough to eat (top denture relining, bottom denture trimming and polish, then multiple adjustments to "kind of fit".). But speaking is an issue and therefore a new set will be made. My dentures made by Smile Pro Studio gave me a bad overbite, and was so off centered it looks ridiculous. Nothing was delivered as promised. Take note of the reviews. The most positive reviews are 7+ years old! Maybe things were better then, but I don't recommend and I was a new patient July 2024 - April 2025.

I would be picked up and moved into the dentist chair and my wheelchair would be moved into some never used corner. But at smile pro studios they accommodated me. They did my cleaning while I sat in my wheelchair. I didn't have to make myself uncomfortable to ease other people. I had a wonderful experience!

He accepts my company medical plan so I went in for my cleaning. My previous dentist didn't have an assistant and just scraped using the tools he had while I periodically sat up to rinse my mouth with the cup of water provided. Dr. Nicholson explained what he was doing (using the Ultrasonic) and his assistant helped in rinsing and advised me what to do. He also let me know my options with regards to any of my problems and advised me the pros/cons of each. When he was done, I got a personally packaged toothbrush and full size toothpaste along with a walk-out statement of what was done. It definitely encouraged me to come back for another appointment!
