This is the dentist I use to attend to as a teenager. At first, they were nice. He and his staff…read moreasked questions about my school, hobbies, etc. Basically, they made a nervous teenager comfortable. But after a while, I noticed the staff and Dr. Becker became increasingly passive aggressive and rude. When I was getting work done on my teeth, I didn't feel he was patient or empathetic with me. I didn't enjoy going here after a year or so. That's why I don't go back. We were also informed that our dental plan was accepted, only later being informed it was not accepted, leaving us with a huge bill. That was a major error in communication.

Every time I had a visit I was told I needed more work. He said I absolutely needed to replace my crowns. So I did. That was thousands. He tried very hard to convince me to do cosmetic work. He actually bullied me. I finally told him in no uncertain terms it was not going to happen. He did get away with "showing me" what it would be like and charging me for the pictures and X-rays to provide that scenario. I felt that was the last straw so I paid and decided to look for another dentist. Unfortunately it took Thousands of dollars for me to figure it out. I made a appt with my friends dentist.. I did not tell him anything about Dr.William Becker DDS. . He did a full work up and found there was no work to be done. I then told him my story. He showed me the xrays so I could see my for myself. Nothing, nothing. How could that be? His wife did regular Business with me. She seemed like a honest person. I was always honest and fair with my dealings with her. I never expected something like this. As we know, u can't see what they see. Even when they show u the X-ray you do not see it the same way. The new dentist called for my records.. they refused. Well Mrs. Dr. William Becker refused. I was really surprised. I never saw this coming. I would give a rating of negative stars but it's not possible. I hope people read this and are very leery.

It took time and money but she really went the extra mile many time and at the age of 36 (6 years ago) I was finally able to smile in public. Not only that but they've helped me with many other dental issues and gotten me out of pain or into a better situation many times. Even after we moved much further from their office, I still go there. In fact, all the staff I have been seen with at Webster is really fun and friendly and professional.

Instead of taking ownership, she tried to blame everyone else, including me as the patient. I had this office as my primary provider and that was removed when the office did not renew their registration, or whatever is required. She tried to blame me stating this would not have happened if I had selected them as the primary provider, but I did that months ago and this was removed when the office became unregistered in Aetna's portal. Then she tried to blame Aetna and I'm caught in the middle. None of this was known by me until the day before my appointment. Am I the only patient using this provider? Why was this last minute? I scheduled this appointment 4-5 months ago during the busiest time of the year for me during the only time I could go for the next few months. Instead, Jasmine just canceled the appointment without my approval instead of trying to find a common sense solution. I was then given the option to pay out of pocket or try to get reimbursed later by Aetna. The office should just defer the payment and take the risk instead of me considering that I didn't do anything to cause this chaos. She made me call Aetna to try and sort all this out and essentially wasted a few hours of my day while I'm trying to work. Now I have no appointment after taking off this afternoon previously. I must find a whole new dentist because of how poorly she handled this situation. I would never go back to this office simply because of this encounter. I was lucky to find Dr. Sokolik!!! He was able to take x-rays and make sure I had an infection in the tooth's root before we did the root canal. Then he recommended surgery and he was a very skilled and fast endodontist!!! I needed to have this surgery before I had a joint replacement and I am so happy I found doctor Sokolik!!! I am a big dentist chicken and he numbed me and I didn't feel anything. I have never been to this practice before. So, I totally understood that they had to take my payment for my surgery before they submitted it to insurance. The office staff and everyone promised to help follow up with me to make sure I get all my money back from my two insurances!

Dr. Jess is extremely friendly and helpful, and keeps you informed of everything she is doing/thinking of doing throughout the appointment. Her assistant was also very friendly and did the impressions very professionally. The only drawbacks were the lack of a bib to catch the bits from the impressions, the lack of a water gun and bowl to rinse after the impressions right from the chair and the lack of choices to get a CT scan for the jaw images needed for implants. With no bib I ended up with pieces of impression material all over my clothes from picking it out of my mouth. To rinse I had to get up and go to a sink in the aisle where anyone could be walking by. Didn't offer any privacy for something as private as rinsing and spitting. I'm not big on spitting in public. :-) To get the CT I have to go through the company they use, which would have been fine except they don't take insurance so I have to pay cash for it and submit it to my insurance on my own. That really didn't sit well with me. However, I can still say my overall impressions were very positive and I will definitely be going back. She has me excited about what she may be able to do to set me up with something so I can finally eat again! Besides, who can resist their service dog Cole? What a sweetheart!
