Pretty good dentist. Been coming here about 6 months since I now live around the corner. Last Wednesday's cleaning marked my 3rd visit (2 cleanings & 1 filling). The dentist is nice and seems knowledgeable. He actually caught my cavity on my first cleaning before I felt it & got me in for the filling. Nice staff. The dental assistants are nice and knowledgeable as well. Prior to my last cleaning, I had a lot of coffee and tea stains on my teeth so I asked my dental assistant for some suggestions on prevention. She gave me some practical suggestions and tips on how to get the most out of my electric toothbrush that I'm already in the process of trying. This is a good shop all in all so I can see developing a long relationship here. read more

The office impressed me with all the Covid precautions; air purifiers in each room and waiting room, a new vacuum suction machine, rinse with peroxide prior to cleaning, air circulation unit in the exam room. I went for a yearly check up that I haven't had in years. I knew I needed 2 crowns and wanted to finally get this done. They took all the x-rays and gave me a verbal cost that I would have to pay after my insurance paid there amount. They said I had 2 cavities and 1 root that was not removed when I had a tooth pulled was included. I was told my cost would be $1100.00. When they installed The 2 crowns 1 cracked and had to be remade. When they finally sent me a bill 6 months later they jacked up the price of the fillings by $200.00. My guess is to pay for the broken crown. I paid $1119.60 that I should have owed and and I put paid in full on the check. I told them if they cash it we are even because this is what we agreed on. They still sending bills for $196.00. GET EVERY THING WRITING!!! Or you will pay more. 1st place I went to without a print out of estimated costs and now I know why. Liked the dentist though. After 10yrs without seeing a dentist the day finally came that I cracked a tooth. Dr.Johnson fit me in a already busy schedule and preformed a PAINLESS root canal. I'm not one who loves visiting a dentist office and even the scraping during a cleaning makes me cringe. However, I went in for some fillings with Dr. Johnson and it was one of the best experiences I've had. I felt no discomfort at all with the numbing and he explained each step he was taking. The staff is always very friendly too! I've taken my 2 year old there a couple times and they were very good and took things slow the first visit since he would barely let them see inside his mouth. By the second visit they were able to do a full checkup and even scrape off some plaque, I was delightfully surprised! I would highly recommend! read more

Dr. Johnson and the entire team at Forest Edge Dental are amazing. I had a dental emergency (I was not previously a patient) and they were able to get me in 2 hours after I called. The ladies at the front desk were so kind and caring. Shelly, dental assistant, made me so comfortable and talked me through the entire process. Dr. Johnson genuinely cared about me and how I was feeling. After not sleeping for two nights and being miserable he made sure I would not leave his office in pain. He talked to me throughout the procedure and told me everything he was doing. Because of my experience with Dr. Johnson I'm going to switch dentists for my children as well. His office is very clean, relaxing and calming. I would 100% recommended Dr. Johnson for any and all dental work someone may need. To Debbie taking all the time I needed during my cleaning. She explained everything she was doing step by step, she even let me know what area she was going to be working on as she went.
