This place is Thai dessert heaven. It looks like a very tiny storefront, but walking in is an overload. The menu has so many different Thai desserts, there were too many options to choose from. There were a few Thai desserts I really wanted my husband to try, and it was available here. The Khanom Beung was freshly made on the griddle, and came in two favours: sweet and savoury. The khanom krok was perfect and custardy. We savoured both, and wished we could have gotten more, but those two items definitely have to be eaten fresh. I didn't see any foy tong put out so I asked, and they were able to produce a package of it fresh. The ladies behind the counter were so courteous and friendly. I wish we lived closer.

Known for their famous mango sticky rice, Bhan Kanom also functions as a grocery shop for Thai snacks and candies as well as thai bakery! Parking in this lot is small and limited, I would recommend street parking nearby and walking over. Employees are nice and help you with any questions on items you may have! I came by on Thai New Year and while the line was huge, it went by fast and everyone remained v pleasant! Mango sticky rice 5/5, well priced, decently sized portion, soft and smooth! crepes 5/5, small petite and light!

Do not put me and a mango in the same room. I will absolutely devour it, just like I did with the mango sticky rice and green thai tea. The mango was so delicious, freshly cut, and paired so well with the coconut sauce and sticky rice. Service was quick, easy, simple. It felt like walking into your local asian grocery store with the best imported goods and fresh food. Come here for a late night sweet treat after dinner or to stock up on a delicious snack. There's valet parking in the lot.

When a craving for authentic Thai desserts hit, this is the spot to check out! I tried out the Pangchi, which has coconut, rice and corn. This always sells out so grab them before they're all gone! I also had to get the Crispy Flower, which is lightly sweet and crisp. Love the fun design. I also got the Mango Sticky rice, which was fresh, perfectly sweet with ripe mangoes. Staff were friendly and were hard at work making fresh Crispy Crepes. I tried one since it was so tempting watching them make it in front of me! Definitely the best when it's fresh! So much Thai desserts to choose from! Definitely would come back.

Like many others, I stopped by after having dinner in the area. There is a valet lot but I ended up finding street parking. The shop has a variety of Thai/Asian desserts and snacks. I came specifically for their mango sticky rice. At $11, I think it's a good portion and likely to be cheaper than getting it at a restaurant. The mangos are sweet and juicy, the sauce has just the right amount of salt, and the whole dessert is fresh and made in front of you. Possibly one of the best mango sticky rice I've had. I'm not too far and will be back to try out some of their other desserts, particularly the luk chup and the khanom bueang.

Upon walking in you'll see directions to navigate in their quaint cute store. Then a big whiff of pandan & coconut hits you immediately. Absolutely enticing, makes you want it even more! They were quite busy on a Tuesday afternoon here. Was able to grab a few items to try. The luk chup fruits looks too freaking adorable to eat. Great customer service! Desserts were nice & not too sweet just like how most Asian desserts are. Give them a try!

Man I was too excited I forgot to take a picture!! I got mango sticky rice and it was perfect sweetness and saltiness. $11 is somewhat on the cheaper side the mango was perfectly ripen and sweet. I will be back and try some other things.

This has always been a shop I visit every time I go to Thai town and I've been coming for many many years. The food selection is always changing based on the time you arrive. They have a small service counter for fresh made goods. The ambiance definitely gives you that snack/dessert heaven feeling. I forgot to take pictures cause it was quite packed for a 9pm. Definitely get a young coconut & pandan cake, the chicken/potato curry puffs, and a mango sticky rice if available. There are endless options so everyone will find something their taste buds will desire

Stopped here because my daughter was craving Mango sticky rice, and this place is definitely a great place to pick some up, along with other Thai desserts. If you're craving something sweet and different, this is your spot. It's located inside the Thai town plaza, and parking is valet only.

Whenever I'm in Hollywood I always go out of my way to stop here and get some Mango Sticky Rice which always hits the spot. No frills market with tons of other Thai snacks.

Ordered mango sticky rice for $11. Sticky rice was excellent. They accept credit card over $5. Parking in shared lot.

2026.07.16 first time Of course I came for mango sticky rice. I've never had any of the other things. Tried crepe savory and sweet, like a very thin crispy fortune cookie with coconut crème and sweet or garlicky savory filling - both good Tried pangchi, reminds me of a macaroon (not macaron) and butter mochi together. Subtle flavors that friends were not initially impressed by but it really grew on me as I chewed. You need to come here with a crew so you can try more things!

What a great shop! Come here for freshly made Thai desserts and other treats. I bought so much goodies on my first visit and can't wait to go back! Definitely try the crispy crepes called khanom bueang! Such a gem in Thai town!!

Is the mango sticky rice vegan?

That sounds like a great choice. Unfortunately I don't know if it's vegan.

Do they take credit cards in their store?

Yes, they do. Don't remember if there's a minimum tho.

Can you ship desserts out of state?

Are the coconut pancake vegan? Or the crepes?

The salty and sweet crispy crepes contain egg

I also love that it's sweet without being overwhelmingly sweet, so you can actually enjoy the flavors without feeling like it's too much. One thing I really appreciate about this place is that they offer smaller versions of each flavor instead of making you commit to the bigger size. It's perfect if you want to try different flavors or just want a little something sweet without ordering a huge bowl. service is honestly nonexistent cus you order from the kiosk and the workers are always behind the curtain. The staff seemed very tired and exhausted. Although the bingsu was already a little sweet even without adding extra syrup, I still enjoyed it. However, the music was extremely loud--so loud that I could barely hear the staff when they were speaking. I was actually a little concerned about the hearing of the employees who have to work there for several hours every day. Because the music was so loud, we couldn't comfortably eat in the main dining area, so we moved to a small room in the back. It was quiet there because there was no music, but unfortunately, there were quite a few mosquitoes flying around. We all got bitten by mosquitoes. As for parking, there was a sign that said "Parking at Rear," but the parking area behind the building cost $5. Overall, I enjoyed the bingsu, and the staff was okay, but the extremely loud music, $5 parking and the mosquitoes in the back room made the experience less comfortable. I'm not sure if I would come back again.

Parking is pretty difficult, and valet is $5. I can easily see the parking lot getting gridlocked on a busy day. I sampled a few of their gelato flavors, including the jasmine lychee and soy sauce. Both were okay, but I just wasn't in the mood for either of them today. I ended up getting the Pandan Toast to try. The pandan flavor was really good--not too grassy and didn't taste too artificial. The ice cream also had a buttery taste to it. It might have been from the toast, but I'm not too sure. The bread itself wasn't oily, which was nice, but it was kind of dry. The pandan sauce definitely helped make it easier to eat. I probably wouldn't eat the bread by itself though because it was super hard and didn't really have much flavor. I wasn't sure what to expect from the toast, but it wasn't quite what I expected. I originally wanted to try the mango sticky rice flavored shaved ice because it looked really good in the photos, but unfortunately they didn't have it today. I'd come back to try their shaved ice when mango is in season again!
