Didn't want dark and was mainly looking for heat rejection. Saw the actual shades and didn't realize that what I was picturing in my head was not what I had asked about. Tim explained the shades (what I originally asked for vs what was displayed) and heat rejection % very well. Glad Tim cleared up my misconception. Very happy with the result. He showed me the type of tint they used, rayno s9 tint and went through the types of ceramic coating from the 1 year Rayno to the 5 year 3M. I elected to get the ceramic tint and the 5 year coat. Cost was the most affordable from what I could find and Vadim the owner made sure you were updated on the progress (I waited for the car). They do have a lounge with water and snacks to keep you well fed and hydrated. Vadym and his team did an excellent job of tinting my Prius's windows. I got in on a deal claiming that the price would only be $289, but Vadym quoted me just $249 on my two front windows, two back windows, and rear windshield. Overall, I'm very pleased with the results; the windows don't exhibit any visible defects. I'll call back and see I can get a four-inch nonreflective strip on the top of the front windshield. If so, I will update my photos. Update: I got that strip on the top four inches of the front windshield. The man who helped me today said that 70% VLT would be indistinguishable from the glass, but I could see clearly where it was on the windshield. Plus it matches the 70% front windows, so it doesn't look out of place. If I'd gone with darker front windows, I would have chosen a darker strip. But alas, California law is strict on tinted front windows for some reason. Anyway, that strip only cost me $50. Thank you once again, BGI. You have more than earned my endorsement. read more

We needed our car windshield tinted and decided to go with BGI after seeing ads and good reviews. We thought traveling an hour to be serviced by them would be worth it because of all the good reviews. Our appointment was at 12pm. We arrived 7 minutes late due to traffic on 80. Another customer arrived after us, checking in for the same time slot. They informed us they would be starting on our car in about 20 minutes or so, and it will take an hour to finish. To kill time, we walked to a restaurant near by for lunch. We took our time and spent close to 1hr 45mins there. During that time, there was no communication. We arrived to see our car parked in the same spot, untouched. When we asked an associate about why our car hasn't been serviced yet, all we got was "sorry we just started". Mind you, it is now 2pm. There should have been the courtesy of communication to let us know that they are behind, that they will require more time to start the service, etc. so we can make further arrangements. No common courtesy or anything, no efforts to make the situation right. Extremely unprofessional and disappointing. I left without my car being serviced. Wasted my time for this. read more
