The 5% tint on the free-replaced window drove me nuts. Andre once again knocked it out the park. He made me aware sometimes factory tinted windows are just tinted over and that was the case for me thankfully. He did not charge me to pull off the old tint. I don't want just any kind of window tint, I wanted the really good Ceramic window tint, not only was the work done right, but I love the look. I originally want all my windows tinted, but, unfortunately, my front windows are already at pretty much at the legal darkness at 68% by the manufacturer tint and wasn't worth the spending the extra money to get it to 70%. I really like the honesty of Aubrey. While waiting in the waiting room I saw the sell tire and rims. I plan on making some cosmetic modifications to my vehicle and saw some tires and rims I really like, so when I'm ready to start upgrading my vehicle I'll definitely be back to see Aubrey about something. His prices are very reasonable and depending on what you want don't it will take some time. You cannot rush quality work. I highly recommend making an appointment, if you want to be seen right away. I admit I had a very hard time choosing a place to get my windows tinted.. Partly because there are so many high rated businesses to choose from, but mostly because tint ain't exactly cheap... And I REALLY wanted to walk away from the experience without buyer's remorse. I am very happy to report that Audrey was very kind and professional. He also truly understands that his customers are not just wallets with people attached. I wish I could say this was the rule and not the exception... He may not be the biggest show in town, and he may not have all the bells and whistles that some of the larger companies have - but he does excellent, reliably, professional work at a fair price. It's obvious that he cares about getting it right, and even more - about preserving a high level of integrity both as a tradesman and as a small business. After 2 separate companies flaked on me (one of them waiting for me to drive 25 minutes to their location before bothering to inform me that they wouldn't be able to perform the entire service in one appointment because the only person who does ceramic windshields is at home with a new baby), I was feeling pretty anxious about parting with slightly more money than I make every two weeks- Especially when I'm paying cash. Look, I get it. I have kids and I took family leave as well. I fully support parents staying home and bonding with a new baby... That said, this is not exactly a surprise event... And it wasn't just an employee, it was the owner. C'mon guys! Do better! But I digress... On my way over, I got a late response from another company I had asked for a quote from. The guy was very understanding of my need to at least show up for the appointment I'd made at Quality Window Tinting. I might be indecisive, but I'm not a flake or a jerk. Anyway, he said that if I got there and didn't feel comfortable to give him a call back and he'd get me in within a couple of days. He offered a price lower than Audrey's, and while tempting... I wanted to be respectful of the person who's time I had already booked. So I get there late... (thanks Google maps) letting Audrey know about the call I just got. Even though I was only booked for carbon on the back windows, and ceramic on the front windshield- I admitted that I'd love all ceramic, but didn't think my budget would allow the cost. He was very gracious, kindly asking what the other place had quoted, then matched it. Honestly, he didn't have to do that, I had already said I was keeping the appt. But I think he could tell that I was feeling stressed about the whole thing, and just wanted to help me feel more comfortable. I was genuinely impressed that he even offered, and found myself grinning ear to ear at the thought of being able to afford something that I didn't think I realistically could. Suddenly I was no longer nervous, I was excited! Fast forward to pick up... I got a text about 30 minutes earlier than expected (yassss!) that the car was done along with pictures, noting that my car looked like it had gotten a beautiful makeover. Now, OK... I'm sure he has to say that to ALL the customers... But can I just tell you, he wasn't exaggerating! It's beautiful... Really folks, the pictures don't do it justice... Maybe it's just a car... But I financed this car all by myself when I bought it, and just paid it off the other day, which means she's all mine now lol I can't articulate how much I am enjoying the difference . It's kinda like getting a new car, but without the absurdly huge car payment I used to have... After 4 years of extreme summer heat, literally dreading the black leather interior every time I had to drive somewhere (dunno about you, but that kind of heat makes me feel like a word that rhymes with stitchy)... made for a well earned gift for both me AND my beloved Serendipity... Yes. My car's name is Serendipity. And she's beautiful... And now- 15-20 degrees cooler inside. Audrey made sure to let me know that while the film is curing it'll probably have a lot of spots that look warped or bubbly. He assured me that over the next week or so all of that should go away. It's been about half a week and so far he's right. There's just 1 or 2 teensy spots that look like they don't want to flatten. I'm not worried about it, Audrey was so transparent and up front about letting me know that if anything doesn't look right after a week or two to bring it in and let him take a look so he can either correct it or replace it. Audrey, I hope you see this review. I spent 22 years behind the chair as a luxury level hairstylist and several of those years as a salon owner. It is a rarity to find another business owner who holds up to the same level of standards that I do. Thank you again for turning what had been a stress inducing experience for me into a positive one.
