Obviously it is a bad idea to procrastinate when it comes to getting your dad's Christmas present -…read moreespecially when that Christmas present is a custom designed sweatshirt that hasn't been designed yet, but that's what I did. Fortunately, I wandered on over to Actualink Designs on December 22 at about 3 in the afternoon and told Mr. Martin about my dilemma. I told him what I was looking for with the caveats that I wasn't sure the project could be done at all, but if it could be done, I knew that it wouldn't be done before Christmas. Mr. Martin designed and made my shirt in 24 hours! It is perfect, and now it is all packed up and ready to head out to Kentucky in the wee hours of the morning tomorrow. Of course one should not count on Actualink having time for this kind of turn around, but they sure saved my hide this time! I found Actualink because they make the shirts for We Got This! and Andre Lee Ellis, so I know they do a great job on much larger orders too.

I have traditionally bought brand name suits off the rack but since my daughter was getting married…read moreI thought I would have a suit custom made. I went to Zeglio on Jackson & Dearborn and I am glad that I did. I found a beautify quality Italian wool fabric. Detailed measurements were made by the tailor (Susan) who was very detailed, made good suggestions and was very easy to work with. The suit fit well and looked great, I would definitely recommend Zeglio (and Susan) if you are looking for a custom made suit.

Brittany (from Big Frog) made the entire process a breeze. She met the needed deadlines, made sure supply in all sizes were available and took extra measures to ensure the design (which was very detailed) and color were absolutely perfect. I wish I could rate this establishment higher than 5*. Their customer service is off the charts - which sadly so many companies are lacking. I should also add that I accomplished this "t-shirt project" from Portland, Oregon. You don't have to be local to work with them. Thanks again, Big Frog - Mequon for your spectacular work!

David's the kind of magic man who can take a 15-year-old suit of clothes that no longer fits as it once did (in my case, a dark pinstripe jacket and slacks) and transform it into a newly tailored set of threads that fits perfectly and actually made me feel handsome. How he did this is beyond me but probably involved a magic wand of some sort. I cannot recommend Zeglio Custom Clothiers on Broadway in Lake View highly enough. And David gets a solid 11 out of 10.

If you're looking to purchase a tuxedo or a new suit, I highly recommend Zeglio Custom Clothiers…read more Their prices are extremely reasonable--especially when you put into account the craftsmanship you'll be getting--and their products are made specifically to you!! I found Zeglio by accident years ago when I needed to get a cheap tuxedo altered for my sister's wedding. When I walked in, I was quickly greeted by Richard. He happily suggested a nearby place for alterations, but before I left, he put one of Zeglio's bespoke jackets on me to show me the difference in fit. When I left that day, I knew I wanted to have my wedding tuxedo created by these people. When that day finally came, I called Zeglio's Lakeview location to begin the process. My call was warmly answered by Richard and the experience began. Richard is an incredibly talented and knowledgeable designer. During the design portion, he was informative, patient, and considerate, which made the whole experience really enjoyable. I did my fitting and alterations at Zeglio's store in Loop. The place is super slick inside and the tailors really make you feel important: from the professionalism all the way to the small details most people would overlook, but makes a HUGE difference (suggesting I have the length of one of my shirt sleeves shorter than the other so my watch can be visible or altering the length of my pants so my socks show when I'm sitting down). Just an amazing attention to detail! My tuxedo only required a few minor adjustments. When I finally put everything on I was shocked at how flawless everything felt--I've never worn anything that has fit me so perfectly. This tuxedo made my wedding experience so much better. I wasn't nervous because I knew I looked good! It's amazing how your confidence is affected by the clothing you wear in a situation.
