Sam was the only one who insisted on coming out in person to inspect everything first--and thank goodness he did. He arrived with a black light and immediately discovered that the existing carpet throughout our home was saturated with pet urine from the previous owners. He even pulled the carpet back to show us that the urine had soaked through the pad and into the baseboards. He was completely honest and told us that even if we paid him $1,000, he wouldn't clean the carpet because it simply wasn't salvageable. That level of honesty is hard to find these days. Instead of trying to sell us a service that wouldn't work, Sam helped us make the right decision by replacing the carpet. His pricing was very fair, and there was never any pressure. We chose our carpet on a Friday, met with Sam the following Tuesday to sign the contract and pay the deposit, and his crew was already at our house demoing the old carpet that same day. The project was expected to be completed by Sunday, but they finished an entire day early on Saturday. The installation came out beautifully. The carpet is incredibly soft and plush--it honestly feels like we're walking on clouds. The craftsmanship is excellent, from the seamless installation throughout the rooms to the beautifully finished stairs. Everything looks clean, professional, and was completed with great attention to detail. Communication throughout the entire process was outstanding. Whenever we called or texted Sam, he responded promptly and kept us informed every step of the way. To top it all off, Sam stands behind his work. He provides a one-year warranty, and if the carpet stretches or anything needs adjusting, they'll come back and make it right at no charge. It's rare to find a contractor who is this honest, responsive, and committed to doing quality work. We were looking for someone to pull up floor from the spare bedroom and use the pieces to patch the remaining parts that were damaged due to a flood. He arrived and talked through our options with us and got back to us in a reasonable time to schedule & get to work. We had a quote from another floor guy but we really liked Josh & his quote was great so we were in. The work itself took about a day a half and the patchwork was seamless. He was able to reuse many of the floor pieces to fix the main areas and we are now off to get the remaining bedroom carpeted. We woulda went with him for this as well but that was outside of his scope. Nevertheless the job was done below budget and quickly might I add. He also fixed a linen cabinet that had been removed due to the water damage. He was meticulous and thorough in cutting and replacing the baseboards as well. We cannot recommend him highly enough. Beyond Compare Carpet Cleaning is beyond compare! They were prompt in providing a bid and it was less than competitors. Richard and Dawn arrived on time and looked at the couch I needed to have cleaned. They informed me that the cushions and pillows were designed to be removed from their stuffing and could be machine washed! They helped take the cushions apart and waited for the completion of the wash cycle so they could put the covers back on the cushions and then scotch guard all the surfaces. So, in the end, they only actually cleaned the frame. The cost was the same and well worth the cleaning, scotch guarding and the new info on machine washing in the future. When Richard arrived for my carpet cleaning, the first thing I noticed was how clean his truck and equipment were. When he was setting up for the job, he made sure my freshly painted areas as well as the rest of the house were protected from his equipment, and genuinely seems to care about how the job is done. There are two high traffic areas in my home that I have tried different cleaning methods on, but to no avail. He made those areas look new again. Even though I've had Coit, and Stanley Steamer, who I wasn't that impressed with, this is the best my carpets have EVER looked after a professional cleaning!
