    Upstairs Bathroom - had water swollen baseboards and peeled up linoleum

    Our small family was moving into a home that was new to us, so I looked up Roseville/Rocklin area carpet cleaning companies as those are the towns I'm most familiar with and know they're local enough that they wouldn't have too long of a drive to a job site. Sam was incredibly professional, explaining all aspects of the job, what it includes, how they can help, and was able to fit me in even sooner than our original appointment after I explained to him my concerns about previous pet odors, and he didn't want us to be living in that smell. Sam promptly arrived on a Monday for a Free Estimate on carpet cleaning, a few minutes earlier than our appointment time, walked around the home with us to listen to our concerns and identify carpet staining, came prepared with a blacklight to ID pet stains and we found MUCH more than what we were expecting. My family and I chose to remove the carpets, as they were 25 years old (and I read online they deteriorate after 5) and we wanted to research more sanitary, longer lasting options. Little did we know, this company not only offers carpet cleaning, but when the carpet is unsalvageable, they provide tile, grout, and luxury vinyl plank services! The prices are incredible compared to other installers. We had our 4 upstairs carpets replaced the SAME WEEK that we met; were able to choose the padding, color, and a wide variety of piling/fiber lengths on the carpet to fit our needs. Out with the old carpet, in with the new, in less than 3 hours!!! They did such a great job, we moved forward with the first floor the following week. They have a great selection of luxury vinyl plank that is 100% waterproof, different colors, plank widths and thickness available. They ripped out the old carpet and tile we had on the 1st floor, cleaned/scraped, primed, moisture barriered, prepped and installed the most beautiful luxury vinyl plank. We were lucky enough to have Armando and Jorge helping to make our house a home - after arranging all the planks and securing them together, they replaced baseboards, painted them, gave us choices for molding, paid attention to the tiniest details like Armando giving us options to trim around the fireplace so it looks more finished, and Jorge even lined the back of the closet with shoe molding which looks so professional. We couldn't have asked for more! Their beautiful craftsmanship made us see if they can fix the flooring & baseboards on an upstairs bathroom that had peeling linoleum and swollen baseboards from water splashing out of the tub. They delivered-it looks fantastic! Even put trim under the cabinets where no one would even see unless you're sitting down on the floor to look at them. The time management of this team is incredible, as they were able to fit in all these huge projects in less than a month and completion before the holidays is unheard of. I'm never going to bother with big box companies when I can support small business who is much more kind, trustworthy, courteous and genuinely happy do an amazing job every single time.     Sofa and area rugs steam cleaned

    Sam is very responsive. I initially sent an inquiry to him on yelp and he responded within the hour. I sent him a photo of what I needed cleaned and he gave me an accurate price. Showed up on time on the day of service and did a great job steam cleaning my large sofa. Every detail even from putting wall corner protectors so that his equipment does not scratch the paint in the interior of my home. Sofa dried quickly, and I am very happy with the results. Sam takes pride in his work and his business.

    Had Sam's out to clean all of the carpet in the house and two arm chairs. We have a multi-pet and multi-kid household, and the carpets came out wonderfully. He also did an excellent job on the chairs, they came out better than expected. Again, I highly recommend Sam's Carpet Service. Sam is very responsive on the phone, makes scheduling easy, and his prices are great.

    Extremely Disappointed with Service and Conduct I found Sam through the Community Connect feature on the RING app and initially appreciated the convenience of booking a local service. I called him on Friday, May 2nd to check availability for Monday, May 5th, and we confirmed a 9:30 AM appointment. I texted him my address as requested. The morning of the appointment, I hadn't heard from him, so I texted at 8:55 AM to confirm. He immediately called back saying he may have double booked and asked to come at 11:00 AM instead. I said 10:30 AM would be better. As I stepped out for a brief visit to the Sikh temple down the street (I had a doctorate-level board exam in Fairfield later that day), he called again saying he could come in 20 minutes. I rushed back to meet him. Sam arrived, introduced himself to my fiancé and me, and explained the cleaning process. When I mentioned we had discussed a $160 fee, he recalculated on the spot and quoted $180, explaining his pricing. I agreed and ultimately paid $185 because he was kind in person, and the carpet smelled great afterward. Before he left, I specifically asked if there was any dry time needed before walking on the carpet. He said, "No, there is no down time--you can step on it right away." This detail is important because I left my house at exactly 11:00 AM, did not step on the carpet, and my only roommate had already left at 8:00 AM and didn't return until 7:00 PM. No one else entered or exited the house during this time--I have security camera footage inside and out to prove this. That evening, my roommate sent me photos of visible footprints on the carpet, including a room she hadn't even entered. There were also blotchy patches and streak marks. Hoping this was just temporary, I forwarded the photos to Sam the next evening (May 6 at 7:34 PM), thinking maybe the carpet needed more drying time. When I spoke to Sam, he seemed confused and began questioning how the footprints got there, insisting someone must've stepped on it. I repeatedly told him I wasn't blaming--just looking for a solution. He agreed to come back to assess and use a "rake" tool to resolve the issue. I even sent him screenshots from my Ring app to prove no one entered the house. Still, he insisted someone must have. We scheduled a follow-up for Thursday, May 8th, between 9:00-9:30 AM. That morning, he again had a scheduling conflict and delayed the visit to 10:00-10:30 AM, but didn't arrive until 10:51 AM (also documented via text and camera footage). When he arrived, I calmly showed him the footprints, blotches, and streaks in the loft, stairs, and bedroom. Rather than trying to resolve the issue respectfully, he raised his voice, accused my roommate of lying, and even said, "I feel bad for you for living in a house with a liar." He accused her of "climbing through a window" despite Ring security footage clearly showing no activity. I reminded him that it was unacceptable to come into my home and disrespect my tenant, especially since she could hear everything from her room upstairs. I told him we could agree to disagree--he could believe someone snuck into the house, and I could believe the cleaning wasn't done properly. But he continued to gaslight me, saying the carpet was just "like that" and would always catch footprints--even though this is a new build, less than a year old, with brand-new carpet. He said he could rake the carpet but would charge me extra. As he continued raising his voice, I began tearing up and my voice started cracking from the stress of being spoken to so aggressively in my own home. That's when my roommate came out of her room, concerned for my safety, because she could hear everything and wanted to make sure I was okay. It was a deeply uncomfortable situation: two women under 30 being yelled at by a grown man inside their home. I eventually had to ask him to leave. For context, I only got the carpets cleaned because a previous roommate had a dog, and I wanted them fresh before a new tenant moved in. Out of frustration, I called Stanley Steemer to re-do the job. Their team was more professional, more thorough, and charged only $140 including raking. The results were noticeably better than what Sam left behind. Final Thoughts: I rarely leave negative reviews, but this was not only unprofessional service--it turned into a deeply disrespectful and stressful interaction in my own home. I hope sharing my experience helps others avoid going through the same.

    I scheduled a regular carpet cleaning with Sam. He was friendly, helpful, and informative. My carpet looks much better. It's a very old carpet but I just didn't want to replace it at this time. Sam cleaned it up beautifully and got rid of the previous owner's cat odors. I found his pricing to be affordable too. Thanks again Sam!

We rearranged all the furniture the night before and made arrangements for our dog to be gone during the day of the cleaning appointment. I had a doctor appointment that morning but my partner was home waiting for Eric to arrive. I received several texts from two different phone numbers stating it was Eric and he had a flat tire. I received these texts while I was at my dr. appointment so I did not see them right away. When I was done with the doctor and saw the texts and replied (within the 8:15am to 9:25am appointment window) he said that he moved onto the next appointment and wouldn't be coming. This was at 9:20 am! I called him several times then and left voicemails but he never answered or called back. There was somebody waiting at the house for him to clean our carpets and he never showed up, wasting our entire morning and having to rearrange all the heavy furniture for nothing. When I tried to contact Groupon to file a complaint and get my money back, he lied and said we called him names like trash and that he refused to refund our money. We told him his customer service was trash, not him personally, which is true! I had to file many complaints and waste so much time with Groupon trying to get my money back from this guy. Do not do business with Pure Clean!!
