My husband and I hired American Eagle Painting for an exterior deck framing project. We loved Steve…read moreand after interviewing several painters, we decided on him as he was so personable and knew his craft: his 2 helpers, however, were a disappointment. One of them lied to me about something he had done, even though the helpers were told by us and by Steve to not do. They delayed the job by 1 -2 days as they didn't listen to Steve's instructions, and they left parts of the deck framing unfinished. We paid a fair price for the job, but unfortunately, we had to have them come back and ultimately my husband finished doing the touch up work. I don't normally write reviews like this, but I believe it's important to comment on the not-so-good work as well as the good work performed by companies. Because it isn't the front man that oftentimes does the work, it's the people who are hired by the front man who do the job and you don't always know who that is. If it was just Steve, I'd hire him in an instant.

Power washing and acid solutions failed to remove years of staining. I considered replacing the driveway but felt that sandblasting might do the job. My availability required several followup calls and rescheduling, but Rich reliably followed through and we found a day. Rain threatened a delay, but he kept himself available and got the job and the cleanup done. I was highly impressed with his professionalism, patience and skill. A real pleasure in fact. I highly recommend!
