Nailed It Roofing showed up on time and finished when they said they would. The crew was reliable, starting early each day, and didn't leave until the job was done. They were thorough in their work across the entire roof. Loose tiles were addressed, moss was removed, valleys and gutters were cleaned, and everything looked solid when they were finished. The team worked efficiently and kept the property clean. Even with a big mess from moss and leaves coming down, they made sure the ground was cleaned up before leaving. Everyone on the crew was professional and hardworking. I appreciated that the whole team contributed equally. Overall, I'm very happy with the results and the experience. The office staff was responsive when I called with questions, and the crew's dedication really showed. I would recommend Nailed It Roofing to anyone in the Placerville area who needs roof cleaning or repairs. This review is being posted on behalf of my mother-in-law, Joan, who was the homeowner and customer. read more

Nail It Roofing did an all-around fantastic job re-roofing our home. From the first estimate to the final cleanup, everything was handled professionally and efficiently. Aaron and Chris were great to work with--both were responsive, honest, and made sure we felt comfortable throughout the entire process. Their crew showed up on time every day, worked hard, and kept the area surprisingly clean. Communication was clear from start to finish, which made the whole experience stress-free. You can really tell they take pride in their work--the finished roof looks great and gives us real peace of mind. If you're looking for a reliable, trustworthy roofing company, I highly recommend Nail It Roofing. We'd absolutely use them again! read more

Nail-It Roofing was referred to us from a general contractor who has used Nail-It in the past. We were extremely happy with Nail-It from start to finish. Nail-It was extremely professional, thorough, efficient, clean, and overall very easy to work with throughout the entire project. It has been decades since our last roofing experience, so we were so happy we found such a great company. We were extremely impressed when a few of their employes agreed to work on a Saturday to finish the job and just before leaving, one of their employees took the time to pull a ladder back off his truck just to wipe off a couple of smudge marks left on the new gutters. Easily 5 stars and will be recommending Nail-It to anyone who asks. read more

I just have to put in a good word for the team at Nail It Roofing. From the first consultation and the quote, from the office staff to the guys in the roof, they were professional, responsive, detailed, efficient, and meticulous. We've not had much construction work done before, so we had little idea what to expect, but they walked us through the process, and it was painless. Thank you, Wait It! read more

Nail It Roofing is my one-and-only source for roof issues. I've used them several times and have been quite pleased with their work. This time, I called due to a problem I had discovered -- Aaron came out two days later to assess the situation. He sent me a quote that day, and the work began two weeks later. It was a two-day job and the results are terrific! Aaron, the crew, and the office staff are all top-notch. I won't hesitate to call them again! read more

Nail It Roofing - Roofing perfection! - Roofing Near Me - Diamond Springs, California

Had a great experience with Nail It Roofing. After storm damage in Jan 2023, I called many roofers for estimates and due to widespread damage, many did not even answer their phones, and most went to immediately to voice mail. But Nail It Roofing did answer in person and within a week or so, Aaron Meyer came out to Folsom to inspect, advise, and give an estimate on our damaged roof. I needed gutter and downspout replacement, roof tiles, soffit and plywood replaced. Nail It does all those things, so I got one estimate for all. Aaron was upfront about his work load due to the storm(s) and due to our relatively minor damage (no water was leaking into our house), he told us it would take 6 weeks or so to get a crew out to fix it. Our roof was tarped and many of our nearby neighbors had much more damage than we did and even they had to wait weeks/months to get repairs. I asked Aaron if I could paint the replacement soffit and plywood before they installed it and he said his crew would drop off the wood a day or two before the repair so I could paint it. True to his word, as they called me with the approximate day for the repair (between storms and rain), his guys dropped off the wood and I painted it prior to the install. The work was completed in about half a day and his crew was well prepared and efficient, they cleaned up nicely and hauled away the damaged tiles and boards and gutter. Hats off and 5 Stars to Nail It Roofing for answering their phone in person during the storms, showing up quickly for the estimate, setting up expectations for when the work would be done, dropping off the wood to be painted, and doing a great job on the roof and matching our 25-year-old tiles. They handled our small job very well when they were busy as heck and I would not hesitate to use them for any roofing related repairs or re-roofs. I wish more contractors were as professional as Nail it. Just so you know, very few of the contractors I left messages ever called me back and most of those did not repair gutters or were willing to allow me to paint the wood soffit before they installed it. I Highly Recommended Nail It Roofing! read more

Had a signed contract. Aaron wrote it up I signed it. 5 guys showed up and did a littlte more than a quarter of the work promised. Called Chris and was told that they wanted to save me money. I said that I just wanted the work done that I contracted them to do. Told Aaron hey what about the contract? That didn't make any difference to them. They charged me half. I used them because of the reviews. Never did I think that with a signed contract that they would not honor it. Took me a year to write this because I didn't want to waste my time. Should have reported them to the State Contractors Licensing Board, or taken them to small claims court. I just wanted them gone. DO NOT TRUST THEM!! read more

Finally! We have found the GO TO roofing and gutter company. Aaron and the entire Nail It Roofing team are top notch. Communication, friendliness, pricing, workmanship and expertise. They did such a good job with my roof repair on our rental that we hired them to help with our primary house. STRONGLY recommend Nail It Roofing. Thanks Aaron! read more

Nail It was recommended by a neighbor. Chris came out and agreed on what I believed to be accomplished and also pointed out additional repairs needed. They sent a professional contract to cover the moss removal, roof and gutter repair with an anticipated date for the work to be completed. They arrived on the date and time promised and worked through the hot summer day. After they left I noticed a small area where the moss was still present. I contacted Brittany in the morning and she had a crew at my house in 15 minutes. Though the moss removal and gutter cleaning is a dusty dirty job they were diligent to clean up. I don't know how their prices compare but I was very happy with the staff and crew and work product. read more

Working with Nail It Roofing was a true pleasure. They were recommended by a contractor that I truly respect that remodeled my kitchen and bathrooms. They were extremely professional from office staff, owners, and the installation crew. The work performed was exactly as discussed and the final price was the same as the estimate. Making the job more tricky was that I have solar panels. They recommended a solar panel company (Smits Solar) and they were outstanding as well. Nail It Roofing coordinated with Smits Solar to have the solar panels removed, the shingles removed, new gutters installed, new mounting brackets for the solar installed, new shingles installed, and the solar panels reinstalled. It all went perfectly. I highly recommend Nail It Roofing. read more

I own a lot of rental properties and had a roofing contractor who was perfect but wanted to retire. He was extremely competent and helped me find a new roofing company to use for my business. He recommended Nail It Roofing. I can do all the remodeling work for my places by myself and I know high quality work. Heck before getting into the rental market I helped design and develop some of the fastest and highest quality computers in the world... Nail it Roofing has earned the replacement spot for my roofing needs from my previous contractor. Do not waste your time chasing down and trying to figure out who is competent roofer. I have spent a lot of time finding them and highly recommend them for your roofing needs. read more

Nail It Roofing A+. Nail It Roofing did a wonderful job on my roof. They were there when they said they would be - working during the 100 degree days. Nail It stuck with their estimate on a high pitched roof with many skylight replacements and coordinated well with the other vendors. The office staff touched base often and kept me apprised of what was going on. There were delays in getting skylight parts (not their fault), and the staff followed up with the job even after Nail It's contract had been completed. I am very grateful that they left extremely little debris around the house and yard. I picked them after speaking with two previous customers (one commercial and one residential) who both emphasized the care Nail It took to clean up after themselves. Removing the old skylights rained debris in my kitchen. The site manager came in with a broom and dust pan, wiped down my counters, and then asked me if it was cleaned to my satisfaction. I was so surprised I didn't know what to say (it was cleaned well). They did a wonderful job - replacing my gutter and some dry rotted trim at the same time. Five stars, will recommend. read more

1/29/2021 Highly recommend Nail-It-Roofing. Due to all of the rain we have been having in El Dorado Hills, we got a leak in our living room on 1/28, and Christopher fit us in the following day. We met with five highly rated local roofing companies for our re-roof project and ultimately decided to go with Nail It Roofing. We chose Nail It because when we met with Aaron to discuss our needs, he was by far the most knowledgeable, professional, and honest out of all the companies. He clearly explained his recommendations and gave us solid reasons to back them up. We clicked immediately with his genuine demeanor and we did not get the vibe that he was trying to "sell us something" like so many of the others did. Their pricing was competitive and they were flexible with our scheduling needs. When the time came to do the project, we were not disappointed. The crew was on time (or even early) every day, efficient, and clean. Each day when I came home from work, the job site was clean of debris and nails which was important to me since we have a small child who plays outside. Simultaneously, we installed solar panels and the integration between the two different companies and teams was seamless. The communication from the office was excellent. They communicated in advance what to expect and checked in regularly to provide updates. I cannot express enough how happy we are that we chose Nail It Roofing and I highly recommend them for any and all of your roofing needs. Thank you Aaron, Chris, Brittany, Madison, Elmer, Mario, and the rest of the team. read more

We recently had our roof re-done by Nail It, and were very pleased with the whole process. Aaron came out to do a quote for us, thoroughly checked things out, made sure to answer my questions, and sent us a quote in a few days. There was no pressure or sales pitch. We got quotes from two other companies, and Nail It was both cheaper and more pleasant to work with than the others. It took about 2 months after the initial quote (in the summer though, busy season) to start our roof job. Our house is NOT easy. The street is an old, narrow street in Placerville with a steep hill, the roof itself is quite steep, it had three layers to tear off, etc. The guys made the best of it and made it work. On day one, they discovered that our old swamp cooler had been improperly serviced and was leaking a bunch of water. They fixed that up for us, and had no problem when we decided to just tear it off and add that to the job. There was some very minor damage to our upstairs sheet rock from the tear off crew, and the office worked with me incredibly to get a person out to fix it quickly. Communication during the whole job was fantastic. If I had to do a roof again (which I pray I do not in my lifetime), I would use Nail It. read more

We had a roof leak and Aaron came out to the house within a few days, on time, to take a look. We received instant feedback on a resolution to the problem. Within a week Chris came out and was able to fix the problem. We love to support local, family businesses, especially like Nail It Roofing because they are exceptional and professional. Brittany in the office was a pleasure to work with as well. read more

All positives: I had my roof completed 2 years ago in September. These guys are pros & run a nice family business. The pricing was really reasonable too. We liked that they worked with us, and we did a lot of the dry rot ourselves. They gave us tips, which really helped the process. They cleaned up after they did the roof install, and the roof looks amazing. It's held up beautifully through the last 2 years of storms, so I couldn't be any happier. Also, they completed the tear-off and new roof install in a very timely manner. There was no lag in time. The product & everything & everybody arrived on time too. I think it took 2.5 consecutive days from tear off to full install. Many thanks to Aaron, his brother & crew, & family for our great roof. If you are gathering quotes, be sure to add them to your list---because I got a lot of quotes from more than a few different companies, and Nail It Roofing was the obvious winner for us. read more

I contacted Nail It Roofing to give me an estimate on a leaking skylight. It was old but unbroken. I was told that the skylight had been improperly installed and needed to be replaced. And that they no longer made skylights of this size so there would be structural changes that would drive up the cost of the job. I was expecting to pay $500 to repair this leak. Their estimate was $5000 and maybe more depending of how much the roof would need re-engineering. The representative said he would look into a few other possibilities and get back to me. I waited a week and he never did. I had the work done two weeks later. The sheet metal was replaced that seals the skylight for $600. No more leaks. My experience with contractors is this: Many of them will over estimate a job on purpose. And only a few people will turn them down because they don't know what's needed. Why make $500 when you can get $5000? This happens often with older people. I'm 62 years old so I guess they thought I was an easy mark. Is it legal? I guess, but it's not ethical. Always get more than one estimate and ask them what they charge per hour or how the long the job will take. If they tell you $5000 and it will take an afternoon, you are paying them over a thousand dollars an hour! I expect to pay between $50 to $80 an hour. If they want more then I call someone else. And if you've had work done by them, figure out what you paid them per hour before you criticize my review. read more

Last year in 2018, Nail-It-Roofing tore down and replaced the roof on my home and I could not be happier with the results. Aaron and Chris run a very honest and ethical company. From the very beginning, from the initial call to get an estimate to the time the crew cleaned up from the installation, the process went seamlessly. Aaron and Chris, Kim and Katie in the office, kept me updated on the progress and what was needed by me. Everyone was extremely pleasant, easy to communicate with and obviously very experienced as everything went like clockwork. The roof looks wonderful and with this past wet, windy and snowy winter, it has given me great peace of mind that I had a roof that I knew would not leak. I am looking forward to having Nail-It-Roofing replace the roof on my garage this year. read more

I needed a fair amount of roofing repair work done and a general contractor gave me a recommendation for Nail It. I'm very glad they did. The crew was very professional, and everything was completed as promised and within the originally quoted parameters. This is very much a family business, but they definitely have very professional and attentive office staff/customer service. But I can't stress this enough - they stand behind their work ONE HUNDRED PERCENT. We did have an issue and they REALLY went over and above what was required to make it right. read more

We recently had our roof replaced by Nail It Roofing, and we couldn't be happier with the experience and the results! We dealt with both Aaron and Christopher, (brothers that own and operate this company) and found them to be very friendly, professional, and quite knowledgeable. They handled everything for us, from the permitting processes to coordination with our solar company! Their office staff kept us informed of each step of the process with plenty of lead time, and the work crews that did the actual tear-off and re-roof were courteous and very mindful of our home and yard, (leaving it very clean and nail-free) each day that they were on the job. We would happily recommend this company to anyone needing roofing work done! read more

We live in Serrano in El Dorado Hills and we've seen many roofing companies service homes in our neighborhood. Most of them come in and do a quick blow off of roofs and gutters (and make a mess of yards and neighbors yards) and then move on. Nail-It came in and first cleaned out the gutters by scooping out debris (as opposed to blowing) and then flushed the downspouts to make sure they were clear. We were concerned that there would be debris in our yard and more importantly on our patio furniture and plants. But there was none... and we had gutters full of debris and several clogged downspouts. During the process, they identified ~7 cracked/broken tiles. Our home was built in 2008 and these tiles were no longer available, but Nail-It Roofing found some from a supplier that specializes in obsolete roofing materials and installed them on that very same day. While they were packing up and leaving at the end of the day, one of our neighbors asked them if they could take a look at a problem with her gutter. Chris and Mario took a quick look and fixed it on the spot. It probably took them only 10 minutes and we were impressed that they took that small amount of time to absolutely make her day. No wonder Nail-It-Roofing has received the Reader's Choice Awards for so many years in a row. read more

Really happy with the work done, the timeliness, the professionalism and communication by Aaron, Chris and their team. The roofing had to be delayed a couple times due to rain, but Aaron communicated with me each step of the way and ahead of the scheduled work. Aaron also worked with me in dealing with my HOA on the roofing type and approval which was an added benefit. I got several bids and Nail It was the most reasonably priced that also had good reviews. If you are looking for an honest, efficient and reliable roofing contractor then Aaron and his brother Chris from nail it Roofing, Inc. are who you should call. Aaron exemplifies customer service. We had a repair done and he enlightened us on how our roof was originally put on, he fixed the repair and has since upheld after all the downpours we have had in Sacramento, he was ontime, courteous, and very reasonably priced in comparison to another contractor that we called. I also referred Aaron to a co-worker for a new roof and was happy to hear that she had the same great experiences after hiring him. Keep up the great work! read more

Aaron, Chris and the crew are amazing! I have an older home and had a tar/gravel roof with a pretty low slope. Over a year ago, I had several estimates and got a few more this past Fall including one from Nail It. Aaron showed up when he said he would and was so easy to talk to, but his estimate was a little more than others. I was leaning toward another, but felt better about how Aaron explained the process, product, etc that I called him several times to ask about items on another estimate vs. his and he took time (with several calls/emails) to make me feel comfortable with it and he's honest. The "other guy" did not. I went with my gut and hired Nail It and have been extremely happy with my choice. Once hired, he let me know to take things off the walls/shelves that could fall (I wouldn't have thought of this) and everyone working with him was prompt, professional, honest and friendly and they kept the area clean. The tear off crew was so quick and even removed my old patio (for a little extra) while they were at it, saving a lot of time for that project. We had rain in the forecast and the crew completely protected my in process roof to avoid damage and delays. My roof looks amazing and has weathered the recent storms perfectly. I can't say enough good things about Aaron, Chris and the crew. I wish they did more than just roofs so my other projects were done as well as my roof. Oh yeah...I was home when the inspector was here and he actually told me it was "perfect"!! High praise indeed!! If you're looking for a new roof, you can't go wrong using Nail It Roofing! read more

These guy were on time and did good work. No problems or complaints here. Highly recommended!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! They went above and beyond to care for me, and have won my business from this point forward. Over the past year, I've been in conversion with three other roofing/contractors until Nail It came recommended to me. From the first call, they have been responsive, professional, fairly priced, educational, and with an eye for detail. They added battens with peel & stick to keep out squirrels, they cleared my valleys/gutters, and replaced almost two dozen broken/cracked tiles. One of the most impressive qualities if their gratitude for my business! And they have earned it. Every family & friend who needs roofing services will have my referral to them. Tried to have this company do a roof repair for us. They came out, were very pleasant and promised to get back to me with an estimate. Waited several days and then they responded they couldn't do the job - period. No estimate. Nothing. All roofers were slammed at the time so I waited several months and tried again. The initial person I spoke with was very nice and professional and didn't see a problem they were about 4 weeks out on jobs. This was not a problem for us. Then she checked with the owner to find out why they didn't give an estimate the last time. She came back and said the owner indicated they didn't have the manpower to do our job and I should try the yellow pages. I was never rude to anyone in this company and our job was not huge. I asked why, was there something odd about our job. There was no further explanation. I have never done a negative online review but I wouldn't recommend calling this company for an estimate. read more

They were very nice and had no surprises on the cost. When all was done they cleaned up better than when they first arrived. They also made sure we got a copy of the "final" permit, i.e. inspection completed. I highly recommend Nail It Roofing. read more

Aaron and Nail it Roofing was great! I called him for an estimate and he came out the same day and beat all the other estimates I had received.
