We are SO very pleased. From our initial contact, to the ease we felt in speaking with Brian, to the actual work, led by Luis- our patio cover turned out better than we imagined. And they were reasonably priced. They even handled getting our permits and kept in contact with us throughout the entire process. Now it feels like our living/entertainment space is extended and we look forward to many mornings and evenings relaxing in the back yard. Thank you, Sierra Patio Covers - I've already recommended you to a friend. read more

Absolutely awful service. I'm extremely displeased, very unprofessional. Didn't come on the day we had planned. No call ahead to inform me. They set all their materials on my brand new patio table leaving scratches and a mess. The owner called me a liar and was extremely rude, left my front yard a mess. Did a mediocre job on my patio cover. read more

I can not believe we never thought of doing this sooner. I love my final product. It was probably the day we had a huge down pour and I got to sit under my new patio cover, that I realized this was the best addition to our house. We will enjoy this for years and have taken every advantage to be able to sit outside with our fan on!!! Now the process and experience. We purchased the patio cover during COVID-19. Luckily everything was outside, so meeting and discussing plans was perfect. Dan was absolutely amazing to work with. Dan came over and measured the area, talked about options and left a brochure. That night we decided, yes we want a patio cover, and we liked Dan and his company. The ordering process was easy, we waited three weeks for installation day. Dans crew came in, who again were amazing, great to work with and did a phenomenal installation. We could not be happier with our final results. Dan and his crew are amazing and I would give them 10 stars if I could... read more

Working with Dan and his team was phenomenal. I scheduled an appointment and was given wonderful options with great prices. When the time came for installation, the installers were quick and careful. You are definitely treated with their A-Team. This company has the skill, knowledge and tools to get the work done immediately. All that's left is to enjoy the patio cover. What can I say; wife is happy, kids are happy, and best of all, I'm happy. Thanks guys. read more

Dan and his crew did an amazing job with our awning. They got everything done quickly and on schedule. It looks great and we're excited to have it up for both the heat and rain. They had a lot of Options for how things could look and we were able to customize everything. We're really happy we went with them and would highly recommend. read more

We had an awesome experience with Dan and his team. The entire experience from quote to install was seamless. The crew were at the house for 3 and a half hours and left the job site cleaner when they left than before they arrived. My wife and I ate breakfast on the patio overlooking the pool for the first time in forever. We have another stand alone patio cover on the other side of the pool to install next year and Sierra Sunscreens will be doing the job. We highly recommend them! read more

DO NOT TRUST!!! Started over a year ago (4-20-2021) but still not passed structural integrity code violations today (10-17-2022) due to fraudulently charging for steel beam insert needed to hold up structure that they left out and the 24' x 18' structure is sagging ready to collapse at any time on my family. Bond company and code enforcement had to step in and are forcing them to fix this very dangerous situation, code violation, contractual and fraud violation. This is just the worst issue. Others are measured too short and using used damaged pieces and other shoddy work but also appears that current owner was not licensed at time of work (per CSLB records) and using prior owner's license until he got his own. According to sales rep, this went on for over a year. read more

James was our salesman. No pressure, no upselling; just candid advice regarding our options. Glad he suggested the 2 tone option! Went with 12'x20' insulated with a fan installed (we provided the fan). Took about 2 weeks to get the permit then they scheduled install 2 days later. Install guys were very friendly and quick. They went above and beyond to make sure the fan electrical was hidden from view. Very pleased! read more

We would not hesitate to recommend Sierra to anyone looking to have such work done for their home. You would be disappointed or dissatisfied. Thanks Sierra-job well done. Matt and Carmen. read more

Dan and his crew were exceptional to work with. We live in an area with a strict HOA in El Dorado Hills. Dan has experience in all the nuiances of working within the required perameters and built us a huge, covered patio. It was done to our agreed upon specifications, within the promised timeframe and with a finish product that exceeded our expectations. We also passed our HOA inspection painlessly, with the inspector making numerous comments on how nice the structure was. We love our new outdoor space! read more

Dan was just the best to work with. He had ideas that we had not considered and knew the Folsom building department well. He was able to get the permit through even though the inspector found something in the code that could have prevented out project. The price was great, not the cheapest, but for value he is tough to beat. His crew were perfectionists. They took almost twice as long to build as Dan had budgeted, partly because of the August heat I believe. We are extremely happy with our screened in patio cover and would highly recommend this company. read more

The salesman absolutely lied to my face. I was told repeatedly that condensation would not be an issue. Well, it's a big issue. As soon as the weather starts to change in the fall condensation becomes an issue along the seams and the windows. Literally enough to completely soak a hand towel. I like the look of the room. I am not happy with the light fixtures that they provide, the doorknob to the door or the handle on the slider. Those fixtures are cheap and outdated. Our door sticks, we were told they would send somebody right away to fix it. That was 10 months ago. read more

Dan did a great job helping us design the patio cover as well as orchestrating the completion. Manny and Augustino did a great job of installation. I had a couple of bids and not only were they the lowest the final product is wonderful. I really like the curved lattice effect they did on the front and side, well worth the extra cost. read more

Someone we came across in Sacramento had one of those covers that made his yard into a totally different environment. He referred me to Sierra Sun Screens & Patio Covers. The owner came out and I learned about their offerings and warranties. My wife and I chose an insulated patio cover that covered the entire stamped concrete patio. It seals to the side of the house and is supported by six columns along its 36' length. Throughout the scheduling and installation process we were impressed with their communications and flexibility. The end result is superb. The installation team were communicative and friendly. Of course it's early days but I am confident the product will live up to its warranty. Thanks Dan! read more

After building our 2nd custom home working with a ton of contractors we were pleasantly surprised finding Dan of Sierra SunScreens and Patio Covers. Dan made this huge patio cover project we were building become a dream, then a reality. From contract signing, permit phase, timing with weather, working around our dogs, materials delivery, cleanliness of the installation (NO screws or shavings in the grass or the dog run) and final inspection. Working with Dan of Sierra SunScreens and Patio Covers was such a pleasure. His professionalism, dependability, willingness to find solutions and quality installation was amazing. We couldn't be happier. You cannot go wrong with Sierra SunScreens and Patio Covers or its values. Dan, thank you! You have given us back our faith in contractors. So many do not hold the ethics you do and we certainly appreciate it. We will be calling you when we are ready for our side yard. read more

This is very untrue! The company came out once to try to repair and upon leaving the dent was only painted over to try to hide it. This occurred in November/December time. We havent heard back from the company since then after numerous attempts. The remaining money wasnt owed until last day in February. They had months to fix the problem before I decided to write a review. We never refused to pay the left balance of $500, we just feel if we are paying thousands of dollars for a product we should get it dent free upon install! Once the job is done to satisfactory then of course he will get paid! This is a shame that after all this the company wont contact us but will reply on a review! Sad. I really just want people to know what they are getting into before they spend a lot of money on a product like this. read more

In May 2017 Sierra Sun Screens & Patio Covers replaced our existing "open slat' cover with a 13' x 13' solid, insulated cover. We went with this company because they had previously installed two solid covers at the homes of one of our children. The work they previously did was excellent and the work they did on our new cover was excellent, too. They were able to use our existing posts plus they re-installed the existing ceiling fan. In other words, they did not try to "oversell' us. Dan, the owner, is very good to work with and is very responsive to questions. The two-man crew who did the work were very professional and completed the installation in one day. I would highly recommend this company. read more
