I called like 2 others Tony was the 3rd. Ernesto responded within an hour and patched the leak. That was a sigh of relief because it rained pretty heavy again due to the atmospheric storm. Fast forward I decided to pull the trigger and get my roof done with them. Tony came out gave me a fair and honest bid. I called another roofer and once again they did not return my phone call in a reasonable time, and when they did they couldn't schedule me in until a month out. Tony and his team literally got the job done in a day and a half. I was very happy with the work and the cost. Tony's very upfront if there is a problem he'll let you know. Some people might not like that but for me that's what I want in a contractor. Just tell me the truth even if I don't want to hear it, so I can make logical decision on what I want to do next. A month later I had an AC problem and found out that a roofing nail had hit my line set, which is the copper line that the refrigerant runs through. I called Tony to let him know and he sent out another contractor to fix the problem and took responsibility for the inconvenience. Thats pretty epic in my book. Their guys worked non-stop including weekends to finish the job. They weren't the fastest, but this is because they were VERY meticulous. The end result was BEAUTIFUL and I couldn't ask for a better result. My general contractor also hired some horrible sub contractor to do our stucco, who ended up deserting the job. Alex and a couple of his workers came to the rescue...they picked up the job where the original sub left it off, fixed all of his mistakes (and believe me, there were too many to count). FYI...not many contractors agree to pick up someone else's job/mistakes. Alex went above and beyond to make it look like it supposed to. He even fixed stuff that I didn't ask him to, but bothered his eyes. Another important thing I must mention, that might be trivial, but it's not after working with so many contractors...they did a really clean job, protected everything, picked up their trash and left a clean job site...all translate to "professional contractors!!!" The roof line is tall and steep (about 45 degree pitch) and has concrete tiles which are slippery and susceptible to cracking under foot traffic. The potentially dangerous conditions necessitated using a 30 foot boom lift "cherry picker" machine. Brett completed the job, including completley rebuilding, installiing, and painting the wind vane mounting box in one day. I am thrilled with the job that Brett did! Brett's price was very reasonable for this job. He has been in the home construction business for well over 20 years and he specializes in new home building, remodels, additions, decks and concrete work. During the course of the job there were many things that happened but the end result is he put work off on my other contractor without paying him, built a deck that was Not what I had communicated verbally or in writing and after repetitive requests still has still not provided me with a receipt for my payment (he said his text was receipt) I found him to be argumentative and unprofessional and am very disappointed in this contractors work and ethics.
