I feel that you can tell a lot about a company by talking to the person who answers the phone. Amber quickly inspired confidence in my choice of choosing this company to contact. She answered the phone immediately, was professional and listened to me carefully. She set up an appointment when Tony could visit. And she explained Tony would text me the day of the appointment with the window of time he would be arriving. Love organized and efficient. As per his word, Tony texted me and gave me a 4 to 5:00 p.m. window and showed up on time. For the next hour Tony evaluated the situation by getting a very close look at the problem area. He then went up into the attic for a closer inspection. When he came back he had pictures on his phone and explained what was going on. As it turns out there is an open area in the roof where rain water can get in. This likely created the spot that has now formed. He said it was fixable and would send me an estimate via email. If I agreed with the estimate, I would be added to his schedule. (Luckily this is a very slow leak and the ceiling spot is small.) Tony was professional, knowledgeable, and I was very pleased with choosing him out of many other people. The estimate was received the next morning! I absolutely felt it was fair and reasonable. He is a popular guy. I have a month's wait. As an aside: My neighbor was present during Tony's visit. He was so impressed with Tony that he asked for his business card. Zav is a phenomenal handyman and just a downright good person. We called him to assess a few loose…read moretiles in one of our bathrooms. It ended up being a significantly larger issue than we thought it was -- we had a substantial leak (from a broken pipe) that had been soaking the floor underneath the bathroom tiles for quite a long time. Zav guided us through the whole repair, from start to finish. He managed the demolition (it was a lot!), the subfloor restoration, the tile work, and then put it all back together. He also coordinated with a wonderful mold remediation company (shoutout to A&S Water Restoration!), which greatly reduced our stress during the whole process. Zav is punctual, communicates regularly, and truly cares about his work. He's incredibly neat and intentional. He's our handyman for life! He was honest about what we needed and charged us for the work along with a $25 Anchor stop. He called and face-timed us when he was at Home Depot to have us choose the faucet we wanted. We reimbursed him and paid him about under $300 for the job along with putting a chain in our toilet due to the handle not working. He arrives on time, is communicative and is friendly. Overall, we are pleased with his service and we will use him again in the future.
