Sam was the only one who insisted on coming out in person to inspect everything first--and thank goodness he did. He arrived with a black light and immediately discovered that the existing carpet throughout our home was saturated with pet urine from the previous owners. He even pulled the carpet back to show us that the urine had soaked through the pad and into the baseboards. He was completely honest and told us that even if we paid him $1,000, he wouldn't clean the carpet because it simply wasn't salvageable. That level of honesty is hard to find these days. Instead of trying to sell us a service that wouldn't work, Sam helped us make the right decision by replacing the carpet. His pricing was very fair, and there was never any pressure. We chose our carpet on a Friday, met with Sam the following Tuesday to sign the contract and pay the deposit, and his crew was already at our house demoing the old carpet that same day. The project was expected to be completed by Sunday, but they finished an entire day early on Saturday. The installation came out beautifully. The carpet is incredibly soft and plush--it honestly feels like we're walking on clouds. The craftsmanship is excellent, from the seamless installation throughout the rooms to the beautifully finished stairs. Everything looks clean, professional, and was completed with great attention to detail. Communication throughout the entire process was outstanding. Whenever we called or texted Sam, he responded promptly and kept us informed every step of the way. To top it all off, Sam stands behind his work. He provides a one-year warranty, and if the carpet stretches or anything needs adjusting, they'll come back and make it right at no charge. It's rare to find a contractor who is this honest, responsive, and committed to doing quality work. I rarely write reviews but I really wanted to thank Jeff for such fantastic service cleaning my elderly mother's carpets and upholstery. (She has a couple of indoor cats that are "accident prone.") Jeff returned my request for quote very quickly and had us scheduled right away. He was prompt, very personable, and professional; someone that my mother and I were extremely comfortable around. He did an amazing job getting the cat smells out of the carpets and the upholstered furniture. One of the chairs had been professionally cleaned before, but still had a cat urine smell. Recomended by our neighbor, who is very critical because he owns his own business. He raved about his experience. We were also very pleased. Jeff was on time, very friendly, courteous, thorough, and professional. I started with a simple carpet cleaning, then added on tile and grout cleaning and sealing. My floors look like they were just installed. He proved his work ethic by refusing to seal the grout ( more money for him) unless he and I were both happy with how it looked because he would not seal in dirt he did not remove. Not only did he do our carpeting (5 rooms), he did two rooms of tile and cleaned our sofa, easy chair as well as an 8x10 area rug. He was prompt, friendly, and treated our home as if it were his own. My wife and I have had Jeff clean our carpets, rugs and couch for 9 years now. We still have the original carpet since day 1 and I can't believe he still gets the dirt and stains out to this day. When I tried to pay him, he refused. That kind of customer service is hard to find these days. It really says a lot about a company that still takes the time to help their customers long after the job is done. They are not willing to squeeze us in, but state that they have other bookings and can not clean our house. What an incredible inconvenience! UPDATE: Updated from 1 to 3 stars. A few hours after contacting lots of other carpet cleaners to try to still get the job done (since I had already moved all the furniture) Jeff called to confirm our appointment. I was super confused and told him the office staff had said I had no appointment. He assured me I was on his schedule and that he would call the office. He called a few minutes later and all was squared away. He showed up on our appointment date on schedule and completed the job as quoted. I love the job with the grout cleaning and most of the carpet throughout except for the master bedroom. I think that maybe we just have a very light color carpet there and maybe that's why it didn't look as clean as I would have hoped. Pictures follow. The scheduling part was so confusing and such a hassle that I don't want to call back to have them come look at the master again so I'll just tell myself it's my carpet color. The reason for the 3 is that I wasted a good two hours trying to find a new cleaner when they had me in the schedule after all. My advice would be to check a day or two after booking to make sure you're on the schedule.
