Everything went smoothly and in a timely manner, from check-in to payment. Dr. Patel was my optometrist and she was nice. She was very thorough and answered all my questions. Only negative, which would not affect their rating, is that I wish there were a few more glasses brands to choose from, but that's just me being vain. They have one wall of glasses split between women's and men's styles and another small wall for children's size. I had no trouble finding a pair. They do have a good selection of frame shapes and material, so customers will have no problem finding something. The prices are on par with other eyeglass shops. They will work with you to maximize your annual insurance benefits- frames, lenses type, contacts, etc. Another negative, which is no fault of East Windsor eyecare is that insurances will take your glasses order and make the glasses at their own lab. I called the Optical Shoppe in Monroe Township for help. Christine answered the phone and kindly offered to look at them to see if she could help. I drove to their office and within minutes Chirstine had fixed them to look like new - shes' amazing! She helped me even though I'm not a customer, so I can only imagine what she would do for regular customers!. The store has wonderful and caring people will who are able to recommend to you the best looking eyewear within your budget. I am a collector of eyewear. I often literally coordinate my eyewear to my fashion. They make it affordable because they run specials. So they run specials, are they smooth sales people? Unequivocally, the answer is no. Several times I've looked at expensive glasses and if it doesn't look right, they'll tell you. Sometimes they sell me the more moderately priced frames. Who's ever heard of an honest sales person?
