I was on the hunt for a new optometrist and landed on An Eye To The Future and couldn't be more pleased! It was easy to book an appointment as a new patient- I sent an email and then called them to confirm my appointment and details. I was able to get in a slot within a week. There is a spacious parking lot in a complex (with Starbucks, Jersey mikes etc). I checked in, filled out the forms and in about 15 mins I was called in for my appointment. They had nice high tech equipments that I hadn't seen (and I've been to the eye doctors appointments for almost two decades) which felt very comprehensive. I had to wait 45 minutes before being seen! Dr. Adam Mark examined me for the Collagen Plugs. I settled for another doctor to do the procedure so I can get it done sooner! Dr. Caren Mullner walked into the room without introducing herself. She said she had no notes about me having this procedure done. She examined me quickly and numbed my eyes. She had a huge needle and started aiming towards my eye. When asked if she can tell me as to what she will be doing, she replied that I am numb and won't feel it. Halfway through, my heart started racing and I ran a sweat and felt like I was going to pass out. I pushed through so she could finish. When she was done, I told her I didn't feel well and told her my symptoms. I asked her to get me water, my husband and to check my blood pressure. She did not know how to react to me being in distress and left me alone. I had to ask her three times to get my husband. They told my husband that I wasn't feeling well. My husband said my face was grey. They showed no concern. I rushed to the bathroom where I released both ends. My husband had to beg for them to call an ambulance! Eventually, they took my pressure. While it was elevated, I felt better. I got my vitals checked! I had to beg for them to tell me what medicine they used. It appeared to be my nerve that goes from my eye to my heart. As I was leaving the office, the nurse just stared. The doctor didn't even say feel better. She disappeared! Please don't come here! They are not trained properly and they don't treat their patients with respect. I don't even expect a follow up call! They didn't even tell me what to expect after the procedure! read more

Well, I wish I could leave no stars at all zero stars would be what this Optometrist practice deserves. Several months ago I initiated an eye exam with a doctor Mullner, and it resulted in my being sent over to Craig the eyeglass person on the premises. He proceeded to sort of coerce me into getting a pair of glasses according to her prescription that had transitional capabilities, that were progressive, and it ended up costing me 860 some odd dollars for the pair of glasses and everything that went with it. Many weeks later, I went back for the glasses and they were not comfortable. I could not see distance properly. I could not get used to the transitional aspect of it and I tried; so I complained. I had a re-exam by Dr. Mullner and she accused me of being angry, which I wasn't. I was just straight to the point that the glasses were not adequate... that I needed to be reevaluated. I went back to Craig and tried to negotiate for at least a credit, but to no avail he claim that he can't lose money, bear in mind that I lost money here on inadequate glasses. He redid the glasses with only the ability for me to read. There was no other paid for feature except transitions. I then proceeded to dispute this with my credit card company and low and behold after a valiant fight, I lost the battle so I now have to pay the 800+ dollars on my credit card for glasses that were no good and people that were extremely rude and selfish. I would strongly recommend that nobody use An eye to the future facility. The people, especially Dr. Mullner and Craig who makes the glasses, were mean and nasty and not accommodating. I hope this has impacted a few people. read more

The woman on the phone was very knowledgeable and when I came into the doctors office a man , Craig helped me! He was knowledgeable and took care of all I needed to do to get my new glasses!!!! From the moment you make contact with An Eye to the Future, they are wonderful to get your eye examination. They are efficient in a friendly way and professional at the same time. I was greeted by the receptionist who took my temperature and then asked for me to use their hand sanitizer. After a brief wait, I was escorted into the exam and went to each machine and the technician cleaned it before and after. There was friendly banter which made the time spent in the office a pleasure. The doctor did the final examination and she answered all my questions. They put a anti-fog spray on my glasses and it worked extremely well since I was wearing my mask. Don't come here! They gave me 2 wrong eyeglass/contact prescriptions with completely different numbers! This is serious & there's no room for error this is something meant to be in your eye all day. Ridiculous. The staff here is disrespectful. I came in to try on glasses & the woman supposed to help me was rude. She kept repeating & emphasizing that every pair of glasses I try on she will have to clean before I even touched anything & while I was trying on glasses. She was handing me more glasses then chastising me & saying to stop trying more on. She then proceeded to say to me in a condescending manner, "I have to clean these, not that you care." This is your job! Who says that? This treatment & attitude towards a paying customer is abhorrent, keep your nasty comments to yourself. She limited me to several pairs I had already tried on & we decided on a pair of glasses I didn't like but was forced to choose because ever since this place closed a few months ago I've been unable to see & I desperately needed glasses. After totaling the costs, the glasses she helped me pick were hundred of dollars out of what my insurance allows. She told me that I should have told her I wanted to stay within my price range. That should be expected. I'm an 18 year old college student & people have lost their jobs due to the pandemic, I'm not made of money. Her entire job & the whole point of her helping me was to find something I liked & within my budget, she failed on both. She proceeded to wash the frames in the bathroom sink which is not sanitary & terrible for the durability of the frames that someone is going to then purchase. I decided after being treated terribly by this woman & not being able to afford the glasses I didn't like, that I would purchase contacts instead. The contacts that I was prescribed by them, unbeknownst to me, were the latest & most expensive brand. Not covered by my insurance & would be $1000 a year. I was forced to leave, unable to see, with my prescriptions to purchase elsewhere. They lost a customer. When I tried to order generic brand contacts online I was unable to because they wrote that brand on my prescription. The prescription also turned out to be incorrect when compared to one I was given by them previously. Both from the same exam, but completely different prescriptions. Wtf? Inept doctors & disrespectful staff. Come here if you want to be robbed & belittled. They don't care about you as a patient, your health, or what you can afford. read more

I love the doctors here at this location, especially Dr. Taruc. She's been very thorough and explains everything to you. Other staff members like Mrs. O'rourke are just the sweetest people you'll ever meet. However, if you end up purchasing glasses here, one of the main people you will come in contact with is a guy named Ron. He is so arrogant and rude and incredibly condescending. Very disappointed with the optical dept, lady didn't help at all with the glasses , she just kept saying it's the back row. Whenever I tried to touch something she kept saying to not put it back because she had to clean them, trying to intimidate us for trying any pair. This was the best and most thorough review of my eyes and my vision that I have ever had. I met with Dr. Silberberg and he was outstanding and so was his staff! Dr. S clearly reviewed some serious eye concerns with me and he even corrected my contacts in the same visit! My contacts have never fit better, but most importantly he helped me with my serious eye concerns AND my medical issues that led to the concerns with my vision. Dr. S may focus on your eyes, but he is concerned with your overall well being and he certainly took several extra steps to try and help me. I am thankful for doctors like him! I am conflicted , like Dr Marks and Dr Silverberg . They take their time and do a good exam. Dr Mueller on the other hand was not very good at all, no follow up and impossible to reach. My time with her was rushed and I did not feel she listens very well to my concerns.I had to wait over a week for her to get back to me on my prescriptions. I just went to see Dr. Mark yesterday and the entire staff was fantastic. I called to make an appt and the woman I spoke with was extremely helpful and friendly. She even called me back less than a week later to push my appt up to help me, knowing I am in desperate need of contacts! I showed up yesterday and the woman initially doing the eye tests was very kind. Meeting Dr. Mark, he took his time to explain everything to me in detail. I absolutely did not feel rushed in the slightest. He was so friendly, so helpful, and informative. Great staff and knowledgeable doctor. Does a thorough examination. In fact, I need to go again to test corneal thickness, as my ocular pressure read a little high. Frame selection is good, but I have my own reservations about purchasing from the optical store in the doctor's office, which I think is a conflict of interest. The doctor wrote me a prescription on my request without trying to sell glasses and frames, but emphasized that the prices will be the same at other comparable optical stores. I ordered a pair online at zenni opticals, but since the office was so good and thorough (and I had money for frames and glasses from my vision insurance), I also bought glasses and frames from here as well. The glasses arrived from Zenni, but I am still to pick up the glasses from the optical store at the dr.s office. Overall, very pleased and didn't feel rushed or pressured at all. read more

Dr. Mark is fantastic!!! I had a stye on my lower lid, went to an urgent care on Sunday and was given an oral antibiotic that didn't work. Two days later visited an eye doctor LensCrafters and was prescribed an stronger antibiotic and a steroid cream. This stye just kept growing... two days later I was recommended to Dr. Mark. With a crazy busy life, his staff got me right in. I sat with Dr. Mark for about 10 minutes and was off with a stronger antibiotic and two eye drops plus instructions to care for my eye. This stye was not only huge and hurt but was embarrassing. Literally the next morning, it was half way down and in two days barley noticeable. I will never see anyone other than Dr. Mark!!! read more

As a millennial I normally do not write reviews but sometimes when you have an experience you feel like you have to write something. Dr. Mark is amazing and I will always reccomend his services. As far as the optical store in house goes, I left the building feeling very uneasy. Last Saturday I came in to get glasses that I had prevously ordered and wearing adjusted. The frames were too big, and falling off my face constantly. I called and spoke with Ron who told me to come right in. When I came in Ron was clearly very frazzled and did not greet me untill I was standing in the walkway staring directly at him. I told him we spoke on the phone and I came in for a quick adjustment. He seemed annoyed, and acted as if the adjustment was not important- since I already paid for the glasses and wasn't a new customer (mind you I paid over $500 at time of purchase for glasses and sunglasses). Ron made me wait in the lobby and didn't ask me to come into the shop for the adjustment! He came out to my seat in lobby, said "put them on" and as I was taking the glasses to put them on (I have very curly hair, takes a while to adjust) he actually told me again "put them on, put them on" as if I was rushing him. This level of customer service boggled me as a paying customer and the fact that I couldn't even sit down at a optician counter (guess that's only for paying customers) was terrible service. I can't help but wonder if the service was charged because of the way i look. I reccomend the doctor but do yourself a favor and buy glasses elsewhere. read more

After having an eye issue two other doctors couldn't diagnose, I found my way to Dr. Mark who was compassionate and knowledgeable of my condition. He sincerely cares about his patients and even asks for email updates which is so rare and special. I do not feel like I am fighting my eye disease alone with Dr. Mark in my corner! We recently moved to the area and I was super nervous about finding new physicians. I'm rather picky AND I work in Healthcare Management so I have a double whammy of high expectations. This office was absolutely wonderful and I hope to find the same in my other specialists. I found an online review which said this place is high tech while maintaining their mom and pop feel and this is absolutely the truth. The receptionist was warm and welcoming, the medical assistant very nice and explained each exam she was performing so I knew what to expect, and Dr. Mark was fantastic! He explained all our results and took the time to weigh pros and cons with us. We never once felt rushed - a rarity in today's fee for service health care model. He walked us to the check out desk, where another woman handled the end of the visit. We were escorted throughout the office at all times and each person took the extra step to ensure our needs were met. Everyone was very pleasant and I am thrilled to have found my new eye doc! I don't normally write reviews but this incident stayed with me. I don't know how good the doctors are but I walked into the optical while my friend was getting her eyes examined and witnessed the gentleman that worked there treat a woman with total disrespect when she said she thought the prescription on her glasses was off. He was loud, short and rude and told her she needed to get use to the glasses. When she asked if she could see the eye doctor he told her that he was too busy to see her and that she didn't need to and that she should just get use to the glasses all along raising his voice and talking down to her and not even letting her speak. I quickly walked out and sat in the waiting room since my friend was still with the doctor. I was going to consider this place as my friend likes the Dr there but now, not so sure. I've never seen anything like this and wouldn't have been as calm as that woman was given the way she was being treated. No one should ever be spoken to that way especially a client. The woman reminded me of my mom and I think this is why it was even more bothersome. read more
