The doctor was great - professional and very, very helpful. He knew how to fix my issue…read moreimmediately. I appreciate his help. The rest of my experience, however, was horrible. I can't see without glasses or contacts. I am on a limited budget and can't afford their "best price" on frames and lenses. The staff refused to give me the necessary information to purchase cheaper lenses and frames elsewhere. Outright refused and lied. Also to the lying staff, just an FYI - we all know you purposely deny supplying the pupil distance. You're not fooling anybody, we know how to use google. If you want more business, lower your prices (especially on your $200 no name frames you're making a dime on). That's business, adjust to the market. How dare you deny information to any customer to attempt to force business. You're disgusting.

My visit with Dr. Blumberg was great. He was very thorough and even let me know my old optometrist…read moreover prescribed one of my eyes. However, one of the men in the front desk area is very rude. He told me the frames I picked with the lenses I would need "wouldn't be up to his standards" even after I said that I accept the fact my lenses are going to be thick regardless and I might as well get frames I like on my face. The other pair I liked he said were the ugliest in the store. Trying on glasses is already not my favorite thing to do but having someone tear down my confidence while doing so really does not help at all. It was so bad that the women at the front desk actually apologized for his behavior because she saw how much he was starting to upset me with his comments. I did not walk out of there with a pair of glasses because of how small he made me feel in the moment. This is NOT a exaggeration at all. I am still giving Dr. Blumberg a 4 star review because he has hours that work for me with my commute and he himself was great to me. He should possibly re-evaluate his staff. I wanted to buy from a local Dr to support a small business but I couldn't get out of there faster and away from whoever the guy in the front was.

Stay Away! They will talk you into buying everything! I need glasses for seeing distance; I take…read morethem off when reading or on the computer. They told me progressive lenses would be the perfect fit for me and that I would no longer need to take off my glasses to read. They also was tried to sell me computer glasses! I told them that I don't want scratch resistance; but after I got home I noticed that I got billed for that. I had to call the store and go back to get a refund. I was all excited when I picked up my new glasses. I was just handed the glasses and was not fitted; the tech had their dinner in front of them and seemed too busy to help. I tried it for about a week and hated my new glasses. The progressive part was useless and got me very dizzy. I went back and was told that they just need to be fitted. I tried it for about another week and with the same problems. They were useless to read with. I spent good $$$ for these progressive lenses. One problem I had was watching tv while reclining on the couch or laying in bed; everything was blurry and was getting a stiff neck to make it clear. So I go back to the store and told about my tv problem and the tech said "You can't wear your new glasses while watching tv reclining or in bed". I then asked how do I watch tv; she had no answer! I always needed glasses to watch TV. They ended up giving me a new basic lenses without the progressive; but was told there was no refund! The basic lenses would of been covered by my insurance. I never heard of progressive lenses before; wish I researched them before I went. I think I know more now then the techs at the store. I was never told about different types/sizes of progressive lenses. Wasted a ton of my time and I will never go back!!! UPDATE: The day after I did the customer review on their website; I get a call from them apologizing and they would refund me the $175 extra I paid for the progressive lenses. Why couldn't they just do this the first time?

Good: Location is convenient…read moreOptometrist is excellent Place is very clean Bad: It is very inefficient It should not take more than an hour to get the prescription when you show up ten minutes before your appointment. Ugly: Glasses are very expensive. You can get glasses for 1/4 the price at Costco. Sales people are very aggressive. Overall, go there for the eye doctor only.
