After she failed at whatever she was doing a couple times, she handed me the clipboard. She had a very bad attitude and no apology. While waiting, I asked if I could sit. She muttered to me to wait. They told me I could arrive 15 minutes early. I showed up 10 minutes early, and we still waited over 30 minutes -- which means we were 15 minutes past the original appointment time. There are 17+ people in the waiting room. It was obvious they had zero chance of taking anyone early, yet they told me to come in anyway. I should have checked the reviews before booking. This place gets roasted for exactly the issues I experienced: long waits, poor communication, and a generally chaotic operation. It feels like a poorly run LensCrafters, and I stopped going to LensCrafters for the same reasons. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere that respects your time. It's not a walk in the park and the second time was more harsh than the second and yes there is aftercare -- lots of eye drops! The procedures were about a half hour each. The actual cutting was just a minute or two. It's far more strange than painful. Then it's over. It's only a day or so before you're able to do things again which really isn't bad considering the benefits. However, it's been 3 years now and it still is one of the best things I've ever done for myself. Dr. Wasserman is INCREDIBLY kind, steady, patient, and knowledgeable. His staff is quick to remedy any issues that come up. I've been going back for eye checkups there ever since. Office is clean. Wait times are reasonable. Location is perfect. I've sent my friends there for checkups and Lasik consultations and they've had good experiences as well. HIGHLY, highly, highly recommend!
