Dr. Epstein did my cataract surgery and it was a great experience! The office staff in Monroe was professional, helpful and kind. The wait was minimal. The exam was thorough and everyone explained what they were doing. Dr. Epstein is terrific and explained everything and all the options. When the surgery was scheduled, the office staff called and gave explicit instructions, and then gave a folder with all the information as "backup ". The Surgicenter staff was amazing - from registration, through pre-op, OR and recovery, everyone was professional and supportive. Dr. Epstein recently did cataract surgery in my right eye, and performed additional procedures to help with my glaucoma. Previously he had performed a similar surgery and procedure in my left eye. My vision now is great. Dr. Epstein is extremely knowledgeable and caring. The office staff also is great, including the technicians, surgical coordinators, and receptionists. I recently went to my appointment and got to the office early. I watched as people came and went after being called to see a doctor. About half an hour after the time of my appointment I, at last, got called. The employee did a few basic tests and then brought me to a room to wait for the doctor. Several employees looked in and a few looked at my file. No one said anything to me about when the doctor would arrive. After waiting more than half an hour I walked out to the front desk. I explained that I was leaving because the doctor never showed up after my total time exceeded an hour. The person at the desk did not explain anything and I told her I hoped I would not be billed for the appointment that the doctor never showed up for. read more

Felt very disrespected by the staff here. The first time I made an appointment with the Monroe office, and it was switched to the Princeton office without giving me notice. When I showed up to my appointment the secretary was extremely rude blaming me rolling her eyes and talking about me to her conworkers in front of me. I felt so uncomfortable. When she finally offered to reschedule my appointment, it was for over a month later. I finally got to my appointment over a month later and at first the woman who took me back was very friendly. Once the doctor Felton saw me, he did not introduce himself and insisted that the symptoms I was reporting were not existent because the woman "had me read fine." It was not until I reiterated neurological history that he said I "didn't look sick." Needless to say I will be switching doctors. read more

He is excellent - very easy to talk to, very thorough, spent extraordinary amoiunt of time with me in consutations in order try to get the best outcome for me. Scheduling an appointment at the Monroe office was horrible. One time I was on hold for 27 minutes just to make an appointment. Sometimes when I was waiting to see the doctor, the staff seemed to be more interested in chit chat than getting the patients processed.. The female doctor I saw was very young and didn't seem to take my diabetes very seriously when it came to my eyes. I would not recommend this group, at this location, to anyone. read more
