Also when I asked for a copy of my contact lenses prescription, they refused to give it to me. They were afraid I might try to get contact lenses elsewhere for cheaper price, therefore refused to give me a copy. Again, it is my right to have a copy whether it's expired or not. The visit was to see if I was a candidate for LASIK Eye Surgery. After the full exam conducted by the staff, Dr. Wong introduced himself and conducted more of the examination with a full explanation of the findings. He took his time explaining in detail every step of the LASIK surgery and what I should expect. The comfort I felt leaving my eye sight in his hands, well it didn't take long for me to decide and move forward with the surgery. Day of surgery was like clockwork, everything on time and very professional. During the procedure Dr. Wong kept constant communication with me explaining every step and what to expect. After the surgery even the recuperation experience and care was fully explained. I was scheduled for a check up the following morning which again was on time, professional, and friendly. I was able to drive myself to my appointment which alone was amazing. Results were that I was already 20/20 and less then 24 hrs. after surgery! Then, she made me stand for about 15 minutes before she handed me the clipboard on her desk to complete the forms. She said I had to stand there are waiting while she was on her computer. After she failed at whatever she was doing a couple times, she handed me the clipboard. She had a very bad attitude and no apology. While waiting, I asked if I could sit. She muttered to me to wait. Mind you I am a 62 year old woman with arthritis in both knees. It was very unpleasant so I left. I would never go there again.

First, I was shocked at the attitude of the woman that makes the appointments. She definitely has an edge. It must be the whole office. My husband came home and said Dr.Lipka has the worst bedside manner he has ever come across. He went back one more time, giving cranky old Dr. Lipka the benefit of the doubt. Well, that was enough for him, he came home and said he would never go back. Ironically, I was at the hospital recently visiting a sick friend. I overheard some someone talking in the hallway about how much she hated her eye doctor. I walked over and asked what that doctors name was. She said Dr.Lipka! I rest my case.
