We've tried to order through the DoorDash app a couple times with this Bevmo and they keep cancelling the order almost immediately after it's gone through. The second time around I'd added in a candy bar on top of the almost entirely soda order and they cancelled it. Okay, I thought. Oh well. But no. They'd only cancelled all the drinks. They sent this poor delivery driver out for a single candy bar (worth maybe $2) like an absolute crazy person instead of just cancelling the entire order. Stopped by this BevMo to pick up some wine and a snacks for an upcoming trip I was going on. I wanted something for the hotel. I got a small personal bottle of Chateau Ste Michelle Cabernet Sauvignon and lunchables lol aka the kid version of a charcuterie board! I'm always amazed whenever I go inside a BevMo with all the extra things they sell, I guess it's true to their name that it's beverages and more. He is consistently helpful, professional, and courteous,exactly the type of employee who represents your company well. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about Brenda. Quite frankly, it is shocking that she is still employed here, because her behavior is the definition of unacceptable customer service. Every encounter I've had with her has been rude, dismissive, and filled with attitude -- especially when it comes to price matching with Total Wine. Tonight she crossed the line. Norman had to call her over eight times before she finally wandered over, because she was too busy watching a video on her phone at Register 03 with the sound on, no headphones, loud enough for customers to hear. I recorded it. She sat there ignoring both her coworker and customers until she felt like getting up. When she finally came over, I showed her the screenshot of the competitor's price. Instead of doing her job, she actually started scrolling through my photos on my phone, invading my privacy, and then tried to act as though I fabricated the screenshot. When I pulled up the actual website in front of her, she still argued and claimed she "couldn't see where it said Total Wine." If she needs glasses, that's her problem, not mine. And then,after wasting my time, ignoring Norman, ignoring me, and giving me attitude -- she had the audacity to say she "didn't appreciate my attitude." Excuse me? I don't appreciate being treated like an inconvenience while your employee blasts videos on her phone instead of working. I don't appreciate being harassed over a simple price match that your policy clearly supports. And I certainly don't appreciate my privacy being invaded by a cashier rifling through my photos. Let's be very clear: personal phones should not even be on the sales floor, let alone being used openly while customers wait. This was a disgraceful display of unprofessionalism and a slap in the face to every customer who expects even basic service. read more

There was an Asian girl (in the background) that was super friendly and nice but the girl at the register, Marianne, was probably the RUDEST customer service I've experienced in awhile. She should NOT be dealing with customers and, if anything, should be hidden stocking in the back. When it comes to getting a variety of affordable liquor, beer, and wine, it can't get any better than BevMo. There are many other options around in the area, but BevMo keeps their prices low and also offers way more options compared to the local liquor and grocery stores. There's another BevMo location in WC, but I usually come to this location because it's closer to me. I usually come here to snag a few bottles of my favorite wine. They usually stock some great varieties of local and foreign wines. I also like to come here to stock up on cheese and cracker platters occasionally. And, who doesn't love their Buy one get one for a penny promo? I have a BevMo rewards store card which allows me to rack up points for discounts. -What I also really love about BevMo is their unique glasses and party decorations. I've found so many nice wine and champagne glasses and fun party decorations here in the past. This location has plenty of parking and I can usually snag a spot right in front of the store. The associates are friendly and pretty knowledgeable about general items in the store, but if you have specific questions about the wine, you're probably better off just reading the description. My only really nitpick about this BevMo is that they sometimes carry expired items. I've been here a few times and inadvertently purchased cheeses and snacks that were expired. Make sure you check the dates before you buy, especially their food products. Even with this small inconvenience, I still think that BevMo is a great bang for your buck. read more

Gone in there with Crown Royal Apple in mind. Fan of the original, but thought I'd try something different. Stock shelf was wiped clean on the 750ml, but the guy out on the floor read my mind and checked up on me. He checked the back room and got my 750ml. I was a happy customer. We were also on the hunt for wines and a load of 337 2012 Cabernet. Grabbed six and was good to go. Found some whiskey samplers and grabbed those as well. So this was my 1st time coming to this location and was a fantastic experience mostly due to great customer experience I had with one of there workers names AL. I came in with a general idea that I wanted to add a new high end liquor to my bar at my home but wasn't really sure which bottle I wanted to add to my collection.. Its always good to have many different great liquors when you host a party or function at your home so you can have plenty of great choices that your guest will enjoy and be able to talk about latter after they leave.. So basically the employee names Al that works at this location spent over 30 mins probably going over lots of different. this night I wanted to stick to whiskey , bourbon or scotch . And Since I don't know that much about them I had a lot of questions. he was able to provide so much useful information it was amazing.. I highly appreciated the great customer service here and defiantly recommended talk to AL if you have any questions about liquor . So I decided to get the yamazaki 12 today. read more

Bevmo has been slipping with customer service for awhile now in comparison with Total Wine but today was a turning point. I needed to exchange a 20lb propane container so I called ahead to make sure they had them in stock. I was on hold for 15 minutes before I spoke to an associate. She assured me they had plenty in stock. I drove 15 minutes and stood in line for another 20 minutes (Saturday evening). When I got to the checkout stand I was told they are out of stock. I told her I had just called and was told they had plenty. The checkout clerk gave me a dazed look like I was an alien. I went to another checkout clerk who at least had the courtesy to get the keys and go look. Sure enough they were out of stock. If Bevmo had paid someone to chase off customers with a pitchfork they could not have done much better than this. Goodbye Bevmo, hello Total Wine! read more

I'm ready to check out and he's in a joyful mood after talking to his coworkers. I receive no greeting or even eye contact from him, I hand my items and give him a simple "how ya doin". Which he gives a one word response. I present my ID that he insists upon scanning and doesn't ask to take it out of my hands which I felt was rude. This BevMo is closest one to ARF (Tony LaRussa's Animal Rescue Foundation in the Shadelands). No, I'm not stopping by to refill the rescue liquor for a St. Bernard. Rather, it's a convenient stop on the way home after Camp ARF, ARF University, or Gayle's volunteer work. This BevMo location is a bit more compact than say the North Main one in Walnut Creek. Hence, the selection isn't as robust. However, I usually find what I need and the folks here are friendly and eager to please. read more

We were in this shopping center when I saw the 5¢ sale sign and suggested we stop in and take a look. We were greeted warmly upon entering the store and all the sale wines were set up in a center display. While perusing, a woman working there asked us if we needed any help and proceeded to recommend her favorites. I prefer the personalized service that I get at our local wine store but BevMo! does have a large selection and can meet most of your wine, beer and liquor needs. This BevMo is a tad smaller than the one on N. Main. They still carry a great selection of adult refreshments. I usually know what I'm getting when I head in, but from time to time I try something new. My favorite find a couple years back was a champagne brand "Pink". It was great and the price was right. I have sampled some great cheeses as well. Really friendly service at check-out. Last time I was in was to grab a bottle of champagne for dinner and I was in a bit of a hurry so I more or less jogged over to the chilled section. The employee who rang me up totally acknowledged that I was in a rush and I breezed through checkout and was on the road again in a flash. Much appreciated! Trying to stay safe and wanted to try the BevMo app. Ordered at 5:45pm and no delivery was available until tomorrow. Called their store to ask when the last delivery time for same day was and the staff person said I could order until 6pm online for delivery until 8pm. When I explained that no I couldn't because I was online at 5:30 ordering and it was not true. He said, "oh well, I don't know what to tell you..." Terrible customer service. I heard about Bevmo beer tastings a little more than 1.5 years ago and wanted to check it out. I headed to the North Main location first, but didn't enjoy it at all. The vibe and staff were pretentious and rude, and I didn't like the crowd at all. I left there after only a few minutes. I never really liked that store. Thankfully, I read there was a new Bevmo location, actually closer to my house, and with ample parking. I came here right after and was instantly welcomed by Lee, the Asst. Manager, who was running the beer tasting. He encouraged me to come in, try some beers, stay and enjoy myself! I have been coming back for the beer tastings ever since! And this is how this Bevmo location because my go-to stop for all my booze and party needs. Almost all the staff are cheery, friendly and helpful! I started as a customer, but now I consider the folks at this store my friends, and many of the regular (beer tasting) customers do too. Everyone is a lot of fun! The sales are fantastic! I particularly like when the "mystery" box of beer is available! 24 bottles of various beers in a box for like $16.99, I think. It's such a good deal because there's usually great beers in there! I really enjoy this Bevmo. Although its not as large as the Bevmo off Main st in WC, nor do they offer as quite as an extensive large selection of wine, they still seem to offer an outstanding selection of fantastic wines, as well as a great selection of beer. The staff are all always exceptionally friendly and helpful. And Terry is absolutely awesome! He's the wine connoisseur of the store, and you can always be rest assured, that he will most likely be your best guidance in finding that perfect wine to satisfy just about any palate. I have not yet been disappointing with anything of his recommendation. Definitely go to him if in need of a little guidance! Other than that, they are all great! And who can beat those 5 cent specials! They also offer wine tastings and have a small selection of gourmet cheeses, salamis ect to choose from. I love the location of this BevMo because it is on the way from my house to the freeway. I usually grab a bottle of wine or liquor when heading to a friend or the in-laws and this is a great spot to get it from since it's on my way there. They have great gift packages and great sales to make things better! The 5 cent wine sale is always great too and that happens a few times a year... great time to stock up on wines! Here's why: ***First off it's HUGE. I am talking like Costco big. I walked from the enterance into what should have been another store, but it was just another area within it the store. ***They have a freakin' deli: So I've been in many a Bevmo that has some cheese in a little refrigerated section, but this was a huge deli similar to one of those high end grocery stores. They even had these little containers where there was cheese tasting and crackers ***Blue light special: Periodically they would announce things...not so much a "blue light" special, but things like wine tasting and beer tasting ***Greeters and meeters: This Bevmo is so big, they have a "greeter" that just stands at the front and says hello. And there was a lot of staff walking around willing to show you anything you're looking for, and even to drop some knowledge (like for me to tell me that the wine I bought as a gift needed to breathe for 15 mins). I don't drink. So this review is for all the regular and eclectic soda that they carry on a 10 x 6 ft shelf in the back left of the store. I am a fan of ginger beer and they carry many different varieties. My favorite has to be Cock -N - Bull. The originators of the Moscow Mule. Normally this is only available in glass, however this store carries this product in 20 oz aluminum cans. Nice! I am also a fan of Dry Soda and there are several options to choose from there. Is it less expense here than at other stores? No. Is there more options? Generally, yes. What did I learn today? I got carded buying soda.
