First time here and was a bit disappointed. Employees there were not very helpful. I was looking for a cart and had my hands full and not one employee asked to help. Once I got myself a cart, I went looking up and down the Isle lookin confused because I couldn't find a product. I went waking towards an employee and they turned the other way. Frustrating. This BevMo is pretty bad. I went to the store and was turned away because I didn't do an online order. Other people were making orders at the front and I asked why they could and I couldn't, frustratedly the employee begrudgingly said ok. I asked for a specific six pack, they checked, then said they didn't have it. I went online and ordered it through the app, waited a little longer, the they came out and said their website wasn't updated with what they have. It was all a huge bummer experience. Yay! They finally opened! I drive down Rosecrans daily, so when the BevMo sign came out on the construction area, I got REAL excited. And on Friday when I saw they had opened, I had to stop by. Even though I didn't really "need" anything, I had to stop by. Turns out they were having a grand opening party -- $0.25 to taste a slew of sparkling wines, wines from Brazil, and beers. Seriously....a quarter. How AWESOME is that? The Margarita King was there, signing bottles, and there were free cheese samples galore. I love this Bevmo. the customer service was AMAZING. I showed the guy a picture of the wine that I was looking for and he took me RIGHT to it. I love a knowledgeable and helpful sales person. The checkout only had one register open though, which was a PAIN to have to wait in line. A good experience nonetheless. The wine selection is not as extensive as I'd like but you can't have everything can you. They do however have a decent selection of booze and beer so you can usually find something to spark up your evening or afternoon depending on your occasion, liver health or commitment to being intoxicated. The do carry the best gin on the planet that I've ever had. Nolet's Dry Silver. Not cheap but the best price I've seen around at $42.00 for a 750ml. Fair warning though, this stuff may ruin you If you like G & T's or martini's "Gin is the only spirit for a real martini" I felt sorry for other gins after trying Nolet's. Cheers read more

I really like this BevMo location. Parking is plentiful, the store is conveniently located next to Trader Joe's, Fresh and Easy, and Bristol Farms, and the store is always clean and well-organized. Last Friday I was looking for a particular Moscato, and I was sad to see that they were sold out. A friendly employee asked me if I was finding everything, and when I said that I didn't see my favorite Moscato, she said, "Oh, we have more!" She grabbed a box from a back shelf and pulled out my favorite bottle with a flourish. I was very excited! She saved me from having to drive to another store. Stars for great customer service! Honestly, I like the lower prices and more extensive selection available at Total Wines, but BevMo is perfect when I'm in the area. read more

Love Bev Mo since you can knock off of your shopping list wine, champagne, beer, spirits, mixers, soda, cheese, munchies, and specialty bar ware all in one shot. The prices are extremely reasonable compared to your local Grocery store or Costco. And if you're a Club Bev member, you can participate in the twice a year 5 Cent sale where for selected items you buy the first bottle at full price and get the second for 5 cents. I'm in LOVE with their Belgian beer selection. It's not the MOST extensive in LA but the best that is closest to my work/home. Almost everyone that I've encountered that works there is friendly, very knowledgeable about the inventory, or both. This place has EVERYTHING! I had been looking for key lime juice everywhere! I went to Trader joes, nothing. I went to Fresh and easy, nothing. Food for less, nothing, Whole foods, STILL nothing. As I was beaten and tired of looking around and running out of grocery stores, I looked online at bevmo (for some reason) and BAM key lime juice. This location is right next to Fresh and Easy so after i went grocery shopping, i sauntered over and looked for it. Which made me notice that they layout of the place is actually pretty convenient. (I can't say much for the item organization, but at least the stuff i was looking for seemed organized) Plus the people there are waaaay helpful and friendly. I always come to this location to exchange my beer kegs and I am always treated very well by the employees. But today your employee "CJ" was extremely rude. I was waiting outside for a while and he came in looking extremely rushed saying that only one person can come in. He didn't even help me with my beer choice he just opened the door and gave me a blank stare. When I usually come the employees are extremely polite and give me information on the beers. They always have what I am looking for. The selection is large and the store is full of snacks, drinks and specialty serve ware. While the service sometimes is a little off, the employees are well intentioned. The prices are comparable to those of other specialty alcohol and beer stores. They usually only have one register open which means you do have to wait, but the wait is minimal. Trader Joe's has a very limited alcohol selection so in the event I am looking for something specific, I head to BevMo next door. read more

I found this place to not have that great of a wine selection. They have ones more on the cheaper side, and I am a more tasteful type of guy. I find the Pasadena location to be friendlier and more attentive. I tried getting help on my visit and there was a staff member that just walked away after I walked up to him and said, "excuse me," Another staff guy was too busy chatting away with another customer, great for that customer, after standing by the side nearly 5 minutes of obviously waiting for him to finish, I walked away and up to the cashier and asked for help. However, there is a place called Beverage Warehouse located in Culver City that is slightly cheaper. If that's out of the way or too far from you, I say you can't go wrong with BevMo.
