The store is always clean and welcoming. Everytime I shop there I am greeted. They can be quite busy at times, however, they do their best to accomodate my needs. They have great wine recommendations and are always willing to help with other suggestions. Parking is usually fairly open, however, can be tricky at busy times. It is still worth stopping by and checking out their wide selection. read more

If price is not an object and you want a store with a ton of beverage choices (alcohol and non), this is your place. If you have time to walk around, you'll probably find some good deals. There "buy one, get the second for a nickel" is a good deal but it's typically only on a few items (less than 5% of the store from what I observed). Otherwise, prices are more than our local grocery story and definitely more than Costco but...BevMo has a much larger selection. So, if you are looking for something special, it's a great place to find it. Also, if you are buying a lot, you might want to split your order. For instance, on our last visit, when we were checking out, we received a $5 off a $50 purchase coupon with our receipt. Saves you a little bit. Bad customer service. After being ID knowing I was over the age to make a purchase, the cashier denied service and did not let me make the purchase. Did not give me an explanation. Respectfully entered the store got the items I wanted and proceeded to the cashier to pay, then the cashier told me I couldn't make the purchase and to come back again. Like I'm over 21yrs, did not made any disturbance, was respectful for service to be denied. I would have understood if I was disruptive and acting a certain way but I wasn't. We went into the location in Manhattan Beach and worked with Jim. He was so helpful and attentive. We weren't rushed at all, he answered all our questions, and we got to do a tasting to pick the best wines for our big day.
