Amazing people , The place its really feel you that you are welcome . I always come back at this place .

The Baseline: For a liquor store it must have a wide selection of beers/wine/spirits, the selections must be varied, the store aisles need to be clean/organized, the traffic flow must be logical, the prices must reflect the value, and the service from staff must be good. Selection: I come for the lottery but their selection of convenience snacks and drinks along with alcohol is good too. Service: Great service from the staff and I rubbed my tickets on all 5 blue birds. That's the trick for the luck! read more

This liquor store is legendary when it comes to lottery luck. I swear I've almost always walked out with at least a little win still waiting on that life-changing jackpot =D Aside from the good vibes and lucky tickets, they've got a great selection of snacks, beverages, and spirits to keep you happy. Even when it looks crowded, don't be intimidated by the line they often run 3 to 4 cashiers during busy times and they move people through fast. My only gripe is parking. Street parking can be tough to find, and the on-site lot is tiny. But honestly, for the luck alone, it's worth the minor hassle. Definitely one of my favorite stops when in the area. read more

Love buying my lottery tickets here, I am going to win the big one sooner than later. Keep hope alive... read more

Bluebird Liquor - Where Millionaires Are Made - Beer, Wine & Spirits Near Me - Hawthorne, California

Popped in to play my hand of winning numbers. And while statistically it appears that going with the quick pick option (where the computer pics your numbers for you) actually turns out winners slightly more than picking your own numbers, I'm going to stay true to my formula(s). Lol Wether you believe in luck, fate, or destiny-this particular lottery store has its loyal following and ardent believers. Others would also call it positive vibrational frequencies, still others "being in tune with the universe". Whatever your thoughts, feelings, or faith, many winners in the past have admittedly said they knew they were going to hit it when they hit it. Some of the dialogue that I remember as a kid that influenced me pertaining to numbers and odds came to me from the original Star Wars trilogy when the character C-3PO informs the character Han Solo what the odds were of successfully navigating an asteroid field, which in essence was millions to one. Solo replies with a response that I've always embraced: Never tell me the odds! read more

Bluebird Liquor - Whose ready to win it? - Beer, Wine & Spirits Near Me - Hawthorne, California

Feeling lucky, this is your spot then!! I had to give them only four stars because they didn't sell me the winning ticket !! lol No the parking lot is small that's my reason for not giving 5 stars read more

I'm feeling kinda lucky today so I decided to stop at Bluebird Liquor Store and grab a few million dollars ( Legally)

A Hawthorne Blvd landmark business for decades! The luckiest Lotto seller in California history, this little store is one of the longest running independent businesses in Hawthorne. Many of the workers have been there forever, and know hundreds of customers by name. People hang out and socialize for hours. One of the little gems of South Bay! read more

New owner doesn't care customer coming in at all. The old owner was so friendly all customer coming in. Now workers are so rude.

Awful experience when a man was upset thinking my aunt was cutting line to buy a lotto ticket and threatening me with physical violence. There's 3 cashiers, 2 women and 1 man on the left. The male cashier was rude as well. Unorganized and letting everyone line up in one line to the right instead of telling people there's 3 lines. read more

Best liquor store for your lottery tickets! The folks working there are always so positive!

Always busy but May be one day it will pay off,Hahahahaha.Good place to get stuffing stocking stuffers

So I went to get my Powerball tickets today for the $1.3 billion pot. I waited in line with a lot of other hopefuls! They had a second shorter line which required a minimum $2 grocery purchase. read more

Came out here to buy tickets when the Powerball jackpot was an insane $1.5B. I like that they have that shortcut line - where all you have to do is spend $2 (on anything other than lottery) to cut everyone else in line. But they are FAST. The line may be around the corner, but it only took 30-45 minutes to get to the counter. (Some people claim over an hour, but not in my experience - I took the shortcut line and it only took 20.) Anyway, I normally don't go here to buy lotto tickets, but I did for a good friend of mine (who happens to be 10K miles away.) It was alright. I like that I finally got to check it out. read more

This is my favorite spot. I love getting scratchers from here lottery scratchers when being all the time

This is a pretty cool spot. Lots of people coming and going to buy lottery tickets and scratchers. They even have a table. Of course it's not guaranteed place to win but I felt that I did get more prizes than other places. It just feels like a lucky place. They do have proof hanging of winners. Everyone is friendly. Depending on the time you go, you may or may not have to wait. I found myself going back in line 5-7 times to cash in and buying new scratchers read more

The are the local lucky lottery store, what's not to like, the employees are nice friendly and helpful and the other customers are also nice & friendly. read more

The line is out the door when the jackpot gets large. Expect news crews and a lot of waiting. When you walk in BlueBird you certainly feel like you are going to win... Lol they have winner announcements plastered all over the walls and ceilings! There is literally 2 regular spots and 1 handicap spots in the tiny parking lot so just park in the middle island area (you'll know what I'm talking about when you see it) and cross the street. Also one last note... When they get super busy (like during huge jackpot times) they stop the sale of scratchers to help move the line along. Good luck! read more

This place is ranked as the #3 luckiest lotto retailer in California, and the #1 luckiest place in the LA/Orange county area. Whenever the lotto winnings get ridiculously large, you'll usually see this place on the local news with droves of hopefuls waiting in line. This morning my commute to mid-Wilshire took me up this street (good ol' freeway gridlock...) and spying this place, I figured why not give it a go. Maybe I'll be a gazillionaire on friday... lol... and then it'll get 5 stars from me. ;) The shop is a medium sized liquor store, pretty much typical of any other liquor store you'd wander into. However, rather than the one lotto machine, they have 3 set up to handle the volume when lotto fever hits the masses. Edit 6/16/06: Last night's numbers were 1 5 16 26 30 & Mega 21. And, I'm a loser once again... lol... but, nobody won... $55M for the next draw... I think I may give the ol' Bluebird another shot. ;) read more

BLUEBIRD LIQUOR: One of the Luckiest Lotto store ever!!!!! Customer service people are nice!!

The Good: It's your run of the mill liquor store, but it's California famous for having some of the best luck for the super lotto. I went on a slow lotto day, only like 11 million dollars, and the line moved fast. I can see how this place would suck when there is a huge payout. The Bad: Small parking lot, but there is some street parking and a parking area in the middle of the street, don't ask me it's hard to explain. The Ben: Woot woot winner winner....11 bucks so that's like what %.0001 of the payout. I'm a winner damn it!!! read more

This is supposedly the place to go to get your winning tickets. People stand in line for hours to get to Bluebird. There is free parking across the street. I didn't have much problem with parking because I didn't go at a peak time. Consequently I didn't have a long wait in line. People actually come here solely for the purpose of buying lotto tickets! There are two separate lines, if you make a purchase you can get in and out quicker. There's a small restroom in the back. I do recommend this place and I would come back. Very good customer service! read more

Im not giving Bluebird Liquor 2 stars because they give bad service or anything like that. They're a liquor store. All liquor stores do is over charge for basic food items and primarily sell liquor, smokes and heavily salted treats. Nothing unusual about this place except that its been known for selling winning lotto tickets and thats it. And on that note I did win $2 from the $640 mil drawing from the tickets I bought at Bluebird. WOOHOO I BEAT THE ODDS SUCKAS!!! :-/ For all the sheeple that I saw in line throwing down many $20 bills you oughtta know better! Better luck next time. read more

The "luckiest spot" in LA/Orange County, and the number 3 spot in all of California, so when the jackpot gets big, be prepared for long lines. One time I was here with my dongseng and Telemundo came to interview people asking about how they think their chances are. They didn't go to me because I don't look like I could speak Spanish, but it's OK, because I can only order food in Spanish. Parking lot is 3-4 spaces at most, best bet is to park in the middle island, the street, or the following small streets from the store. read more

I don't know what it is about this place but it seems very magical when you buy a lottery ticket. I went on a day where the jackpot wasn't even high and there was a decent sized line. If you are a serious lottery player come in and check it out. It is a spectacle for sure. There are people in line with 100 dollar bills buying all kinds of scratchers. Also you see posters of all the lotto winners this store has produced. You get a vibe that you're going to win big. Although my tickets were losers I will come back. Tip-Dont go to this place at night with tons of cash..I'm just sayin' read more

This is my lucky place to play lotto or scratcher. Won 500 dollars on scratcher , fantasy 5 won 4/5 match 475 dollars.

This place has sold lotto tickets to 8 new millionaires! Also besides million dollar winners constant winners in general. This is worth the drive..the owner , little cute older korean man, is very excited n hopeful for his customers it's very cute. read more

I have been approaching this area for work and when I saw the big sign I got super excited, Finally THE famous Bluebird Liquor.... for someone who buys lottery tickets in southern california this place is just known to be a lucky place to buy. Spoke to the owner James about the product that I'm promoting. James is a very nice man has owned this business for almost 10 years. We have some in common as he used to live in Cerritos some time ago. There is no GIANT jackpot going on so there was no line around the corner like how I've seen this place on the news. Still there is a great flow of business here with patrons purchasing everything liquor/snacks and, naturally, lottery tickets. After talking to business with James I got the OK from my boss to buy a Ticket. Thanks to the awesome and genial Jesus "Chuy" for helping me decide which one to buy into. He recommended the Super Lotto since the jackpot is just as high as the Power and Mega but the odds are better since its limited to CA and just $1. Hopefully I win this week's Super Lotto. Now I have the luck of Bluebird on my side. I promised Chuy I'd be back to buy a bottle of Champagne when I do! read more

Place has tables for people to play their lottery, plenty of drinks & snacks. Also very clean & lots of parking

I buy because I need help on the Lottery Luck. Seriously this place sells winners or at least close to winners. That last record breaking Mega Millions, they sold one of the 5 no mega for a cool $230K. Anyways, I wish that the lotto would tell you if the ticket won was a Quick Pick or chosen numbers. So then we could know if the place is really lucky... Prepare to wait in long lines if the pot is large. read more

Mr. Kim and the crew blessing our lotto tickets with the W for the WIN !! Whether it's a FREE TICKET play or a win as large as six figures you're almost guaranteed a pot of gold lol! This is a cool store. Most of the workers are friendly. Only thing I advise is to check your tickets b4 you leave the counter. I bought a PB ticket that was for 4 plays eight dollars. The clerk was about to give me a ticket that I assume was purchased or not sold prior until he realized that my ticket was for 2 plays 4 dollars. I did not say anything but I literally watched him swap the ticket after he realized the amount I purchased was not the same as the ticket he tried to give me. Just a heads up read more

This is my go to place for my monthly lottery tickets. This place always has winners. Latest winner was 1 million scratcher. The staff and owner are always friendly and helpful. When the lottery jackpots get huge there is sure to be a line out the door, but there is always a line because it is a small place and if 10 people are in line you're standing in the doorway. Expect the TV News Crews to show up. read more
