Avoid this place at all costs. They gave me my portion due over the phone, it was crazy, close to $166.xx OOP for a second scan plus an ultrasound for ONE side after I already paid a $40 for my initial scan on both sides. Came in on my appt day and all of a sudden my portion was down to $76.xx and I absolutely questioned the receptionist over and over asking if she was sure. She checked multiple times and said yes, they probably just made an error and didn't apply my insurance correctly. Fast forward to current day, I am getting bill after bill, texts and emails for another bill due of $24.20. Sure still combined with my prior in office co-pay it is still cheaper than my initial quote, but it's the principle. I called to question it and the lady in billing seemed even more confused and said that I actually owed even MORE than that because all of a sudden, my insurance isn't covering! It's all a bunch of shady BS, corrupt billing practices. The $24.20 should be cleared off my account as I already paid what I was told to pay initially. You can't keep sending me bills for additional amounts due after the fact because you all messed up. My account was supposed to be "frozen" so I don't get sent to collections (per the billing department) while they investigate. Yet, I keep getting the same bill over and over again. I'm almost worried that if I pay it, they will just keep sending me additional bills. In conclusion, avoid this place because they apparently don't know how to file with your insurance or do proper billing. I will never return to this location again! read more

Everyone rightfully gave this place a 1-star review; the billing department and service is woefully incompetent and verbally combative. To put this into perspective, the office admin cannot write down addresses correctly to submit claims. This resulted in my insurance denying my claim because they never received it. The kicker is that the office has no concept of bookkeeping, thus, lost my copies of my insurance ID or even make notes for calls. So I'm on the hook for a $1,200 bill because the front office said 'we do not talk to insurance.' So the onus is on you to do their job. If you go with this medical group, bring a lawyer, cause litigation is probably the only way to get them to communicate properly. read more

Do Not Go here. Do Not. The one reviews are correct. They filed insurance paperwork incorrectly (with incorrect information), claimed they resubmitted to insurance multiple times (insurance has no record of this), had our address wrong, and submitted bill to a collection agency. It's impossible to imagine going somewhere worse. Please. Do not go here. read more

ZERO stars. It took many calls to receive a paper statement. Statement incomplete, it wouldn't identify which invoice (if any) wasn't paid. On the 3rd call, I asked to talk to a supervisor or someone knowledgeable in accounting to return my call. No response, instead my account was wrongfully sent to collection. I find them to be unprofessional, incompetent and deceitful. It makes one wonder what they're truly hiding because who operates this way? read more

I should have read ALL these reviews before I made an appointment. I will start by saying that everyone I death with at the office at the time of my appointment were fine- no issues. I have yet to deal with any insurance billing so now I'm scared. The issue I am having is the how slow they are in reading images. I had my mri on July 13. It is now the 22nd and no word. When I called yesterday I was told that the radiologists are prioritizing the imaging marked STAT. Then I was asked if they want me to put STAT on my chart... ummm YES! It sounds to me that the indication of STAT is being used loosely. My images didn't not even have a radiologist assigned to read them yet. Absolutely unacceptable. I have had good experiences with RadNet in the past, but this will be the last time I use them for MRI. Do better. read more

If ZERO starts was an option, that's what this review would be. BEWARE: This company does not offer flexible payment options at all. We're fully willing to pay our balance due after insurance paid their portion, but the balance due is not something that we can pay all at once due to a separate medical emergency for our daughter that has resulted in thousands of dollars due amongst multiple providers - all of which have allowed and provided us with flexible & sensible payment plans. This company requires you to pay half 1/2 of the total due and then will only offer 3 monthly installments for the remaining balance. That is NOT a payment plan IMO. They do not budge on this "policy" and is not willing to do anything else for the patient/client. I would much rather and have since gone to the hospital or other providers in my insurance network who do offer flexible payment plans, if necessary. This company is also NOT accredited with the Better Business Bureau - which should tell you something - and has an "F" rating. Wish I had looked at that before going there - but in good faith, I trusted where my referral was sent. Never again... read more

Being billed $60. It appears they have not sent claims to Medicare and supplementary insurance. This is not proper. If they are a Medicare provider they are obligated to bill Medicare first. First bill I received I called the billing dept and when I told the rep that I do not see online that this claim has been processed by Medicare or UHC. It appears they didn't even send a claim but billed us directly. The person hang up on me when I posed the question. Now they are sending us another bill. Again without first sending claim to Medicare. Improper billing. The facility itself was stellar, the staff at the radiology center deserve a shout out. Too bad the billing dept sullies that image. read more

Took off work to come in. The machine was broken. Rescheduled while I was there. Took off work to come in a second time. They didn't have my rescheduled appointment there. Took off from work to come a third time. Paid in person for additional services, as well as through my insurance. The email sent for a $16 remaining bill to my email happened to be the same exact date as the receipt I had for my payment the year before and I thought I already paid. This place, after I took a hit on 2 separate work days because of their issues, sent me to collections for that money after coming to them for multiple years with NO issues making payments. I did not receive a single courtesy phone call related to a late payment. They do not care about patients' time, money, or well being here. Choose another place for your care. I know I will. read more

If I could give Beverly Radiology Medical Group/RadNet Imaging Centers/Wave Imaging ZERO STARS I would. The actual x-ray was fine. The billing is/was a nightmare. The abject billing incompetence is astonishing; the HIPPA violations are/were inexcusable. Despite providing my current photo ID and insurance card when checking in to get the x-ray, arranging for the x-ray and receiving my personal information from my physician and orthopaedic surgeon, the brainiacs somewhere in the BRMG/RN/WI billing department decided to use an address they had on file when sending the final bill. I have not lived at that address for nine years. How did I find out about this ridiculous situation? I received an email from a collection agency! When I contacted the collection agency, they informed me about the address issue. The collection agency representative also confirmed that BRMG/RN/WI had my current contact information because is was included in the file that was turned over to them to pursue the very small amount, $45, that was due for the x-ray. When I contacted BRMG/RN/WI directly, the representative with which I spoke also confirmed that, in spite of having my current personal contact information, they used information they had on file from an MRI I had 16+ years ago. The lack of care with my personal information is beyond alarming and quite possibly in violation of a number of HIPPA laws. read more

I verified with the clerk about using VA insurance. The lady assured me she did it correct. Few weeks pass by , they refuse to give me the X-ray because they could not process my insurance forms. Also, when they called me about the bill, she read back to me what they put on the form ,and she read some random identification numbers. Of my VA number. Obviously, she just used her pudgy fingers to press random keys , and hit entered. I don't know if it was her last day at work or just wanted to sabatoge me or create trouble. But now, the bill collectors want 80$ from me. Lol My first non payment. Of course , am going to pay it off, even though am not suppose to because the insurance has it covered. But I also did not get my x-ray. So I paid for parking, wasted 2 hours of my time, lost $80 , and didn't get my x-ray. Basically, got robbed $100. I know some people would get mad but I believe in God . And the lady was a obese woman anyway so I cannot imagine her life becoming better. Karma will come for her in this life or the next. You cant abuse, mistreat people, rob people, sabotage other people's lives and expect a good life. I will not seek revenge or get angry. I will trust karma and God. Have a good day all. :) read more

This location needs to be sued and close down immediately. They are harrassing patients with faulse charges for services not provided. For mammogram: X-ray (4 plates) has been reported as two services digital computerized and billed me $546. My medicare covers x-ray mammogram which I had done ( like always) but this greedy made two charges. They sent two billing to my Medicare insurance to steal more money for services they did not provide. They threaten me with collection. I am reporting this to Federal goverment to look into this to help other innocent patients like me. These people are liar, greedy and untrustworthy. I request not to use their services. First let me start of by saying this has nothing to do with the office workers but everything to do with the shady billing operations. My husband was having spinal surgery November 2024. So he needed pre op imaging. PAID HIS CO PAY . Now here we are in January 2026 and he is being billed for co pays from 2024. We have spent hours on the phone with them trying to figure out the problem. So first they told us we see that you paid so ignore the bill. Guess what? We got billed again the next month. We called again. They said ignore it. Next month we got another bill for 2024. We still have proof we paid. We are guessing now we just have to wait until it goes to collections and the we will file a complaint and a complaint with the state of California. Because there is definitely medical corruption happening. I'm assuming that they just hope that people won't pay attention and will just keep paying these bills over and over again read more

Sent here for mammogram. One image taken. I questioned the technician and she said I only need one because "I am so good." My physician said that is unacceptable, she feels one image is insufficient. I can not get another one for 12 months unless I pay for it out of pocket. Be forewarned, I received a bill for a copay 13 months after a procedure! When I questioned them on the belated bill they said they have up to 7 years. When I tried to contact them you have to press "1" for English. I have every respect for people coming into the U.S. My family are immigrants, I am first generation in U.S. I should not have to press "1" for English in the U.S. any more than my father should have to press "1" in Italy for Italian. read more

I've been dealing with them since November for a service my insurance paid for in January. My insurance has called them, I have called them, I have sent the explanation of benefits showing they were paid.....I have now been sent to collections. The kicker...... now they're sending me a new bill for a different amount. Their staff is impossible to deal with, is rude and just goes in circles with you. I am seriously considering leaving my medical group because of them. read more

This is going to be a long review. It's my advice to BEG your primary care doctor or specialist not to refer you to these people. 1. Called for an MRI appointment 8 weeks ago. The calls go to a central number because they have several facilities. The young woman taking my call asked me the same questions over and over. Then she would giggle and apologize and ask again. I came to the conclusion that she was drunk or stoned. It took 25 minutes to make the appointment as she had to keep asking me the same things. 2. I never received a confirmation text so I called the day before my appointment and lo and behold- there was no appointment for me. I talked to another young woman who confirmed that the woman that usually sits next to her always acts drunk or stoned! She asked me to please complain because no one there believed her! When I talked to a supervisor about how disappointed I was, he said, "Oh I guess she needs more training." How about drug testing or firing!! Made a second appointment for 10 days later (soonest possible). 2. Got a text the morning of the second appointment that my appointment had been cancelled because "not enough techs showed up." Made a third appointment far from my house because the one nearest is never available. 3. FINALLY get to my appointment. I'm in the tube going through complete hell because of the noise. (This is my first MRI ever.) I work in construction and am used to loud noises. This was unbelievable and painful. I thought I was losing my mind. After 40 minutes, it stopped and they said through the speaker that they were ready to inject the dye. I then asked about the horrible noise. Silence for a few seconds...."ummm, sir, you do have earplugs in, right?" NO, NO ONE GAVE ME ANY. "Oh, the guy in charge of that is new, I guess he forgot." I completely lost it and screamed at everyone in the room when I got out of the machine. I'm seeing my doctor tomorrow to go over the results. I plan on telling him all this and how he should NEVER refer anyone here again. Now I am seeing my doctor a full 6 weeks after I should have. I may have prostate cancer or another terrible problem and this place has delayed my treatment. DO NOT GO HERE. NOTE: I see from the other reviews that others have gotten the drunk lady on the phone also. We are sincerely thinking of suing if their negligence has delayed treatment. read more

Oh no! What could improve????? EVERYTHING I'm on hold as I sit here writing a review that unfortunately is not going to sound any different than the ones I've been reading. This company is terrible and based on other reviews with the same issue as mine, I think they are a scam. I am alotted one yearly mammogram by insurance with nothing out of pocket and for almost a year they are sending me a bill to pay for it because of an error they imput with coding. I have called 6 times and they keep saying they are looking into it and then nothing changes and I keep getting bills monthly. They are awful and the customer service is the worst. read more

It s amazing how regulators, medical groups and insurance companies do not look at reviews seriously. When mergers take place and everyone wants to keep their namesake what a nightmare. As long as board of directors and the whole gamet of directors get theirs, who cares about the non smooth transitions. Along with access difficulties, thank goodness that is over, now even tho I received one bill with two services from two different locations, I needed two separate transactions on my c card. Small issue, but shows how this group can t get it together. read more

i am having the same problem with billing. my insurance paid them and keep getting bills claiming they never received the payment.

First of all I don't know how it's legal and how this company is still in business. I've had Medicare and Medi-Cal for the past 35 years and it's always covered 100% of any procedure that I ever get including any type of services I got from Beverly radiology. It appears that Continental credit is in cahoots with them as well. They emailed me a bill a few days ago then when I called Continental credit today they said that they actually emailed me three bills. Naturally I'm going to dispute this and I'm going to add my complaint to the many list on the better Business bureau website. Seven months ago my husband was referred to Beverly Radiology by his primary care physician for a pre-op chest x-ray which our Medicare and Plan G Insurance should have covered 100%. Due to a coding error we are receiving statements every month with a balance due, each time I call their billing office I hear the same line "your acct will be sent to our coding review team and you will hear back in 20-30 days." Someone initially applied an incorrect code and we have been dealing with the stress of a simple error not being corrected, receiving a bill each month and being threatened with collections. This place is horrible with billings. They try to bill me $285 for a scan my wife did a year ago! My insurance should've paid for it right? I got upset bc they were saying FINAL NOTICE and it would go into collections. I called Beverly billing dept waited hours. they told me I need to call my insurance bc it didn't go through ins. I asked why are you trying to bill me something a year ago? They said they don't know. Anyways I called my ins waited hours and ins ended up telling me they billed the wrong insurance. I called Beverly and told them their mistake and she just gave a *itch attitude. If I looked at their Yelp I would've gone somewhere else. Btw this whole bs took a month long read more

The people who work there are excellent! The billing department is the worst! Good luck getting anything straightened out with them.

Run Away! Please use another company. ANY other company. I wish I had checked Yelp before I used them. Their Billing Dept is the worst I have ever experienced, EVER. Billed wrong insurance. Corresponded with wrong insurance company for months, even though I gave them the correct info and advised them what they were doing wrong. Then they sent my "overdue" balance to collections, even though they had my insurance but didn't bill it properly. Had to have it recalled from collections, and as of this moment I am still waiting for them to bill my insurance properly. I call them every day. Nobody calls me back when they say. No answers. No consistent contact. Not sure how this is gonna turn out. If you need to use them, make sure they invoice your insurance company ahead of time to get it pre-authorized. Otherwise you are in for a really horrible experience. read more

If I could leave 0 stars I would. While the provider who facilitated the ultrasound was great, the billing is a nightmare. They tried to bill my insurance twice for the same procedure. My insurance contacted them and explained I was not responsible and they could dispute the claim. This is absolutely insane. read more

Steer clear of Beverly Radiology. We go through the same hassle every year. They claim to be in our network but they never honor the "Adjusted Rate", provided by our insurance company. It usually takes a few phone calls to straighten it out and get them to give us the proper bill. This year the retail bill was $550 and the adjusted bill should be $199. They told us to wait for the corrected bill. Instead, they sent it to collections. Now they are telling us the corrected bill is still in process. It's been over 4 months. Collections keeps threatening us. Beverly Radiology says to ignore collections and wait for the corrected bill. It's vexing that they sent it to collections when they told us they were in the process of correcting the bill. read more

Wow, I came to write about my terrible experience and it seems that virtually all of the other reviewers have had similar experiences. The billing department is negligent. They sent me a bill 1 year and 5 months after the service date. After a lengthy phone call, my insurance company reassured me this was not my financial responsibility and I provided the next steps to Beverly Radiology, which already seems out of my scope as the patient. Rather than following through with submitting the claim to the appropriate payor, Beverly Radiology sent me to collections. I hope this company restructures their billing department and provides ethics training to all employees. read more

Awful billing department! Had a referral through insurance for a mammogram. 9 months later they send me a bill. My insurance always cover this procedure. I call because they never even submitted it to my insurance group. Then a month later I got another bill saying I owe them money and that my insurance health group wasn't covering the entire cost, only part. They said though if you pay it now will give you a discount. Instead I called my insurance group and they said that was false information and It should be fully covered . They called on my behalf to Beverly, Radiology, Medical, Group and clarified that I owe nothing. I have to call back in 2 weeks to see if they handled it. Seems a little shady to me! read more

I would give them a -5 if I could. These people are rude. They were in-network. I went for work in 4/2020. Every year they send me a bill for $540, as if I'm going to forget the trouble they put me through. This year I changed insurance. I called BHRMD. As usual they were rude. They told me it would be sent to review committee. I would hear back in 14 days. Meanwhile, my insurance company at the time, because it was so long ago, had difficulty. The first person found it. Because they were in network, the amount owed decreased to $188, half of which was paid 3 days after service by my insurance. Since I was charged $75 even before they saw me, and their techs weren't nice either, I owed less than $20, which I promptly paid. Please avoid these people for your own good. They behave like thieves. I have been told before that this situation was rectified. It gets harder and harder the more time passes. I recommend Mink Radiology. Skip these people. read more
