I had Betty make 60 cake pops for me for my baby shower this past weekend and they were such a hit! They were adorable on the outside yet sweet and savory in the inside. I don't think I've ever had cake pops where the cake part was so moist inside--absolutely delicious (Betty did say it tastes better than they looked--although I didn't see how this was possible since they looked so good, but it's true!) I was charged a $10 shipping fee although I had made arrangements to pick up the cake pops with Betty's assistance (since I live close by)--Betty said it's because she didn't have a physical address where I can actually pick it up from. Just wanted everyone to know, since I would have just had her ship it to me if I had known earlier (I was just being cautious and afraid that some of the cake pops would get damaged during shipping). Not only are they the tastiest cake pops out there (believe me...I've tried a TON) but she also has the best prices and the most beautiful designs! She has made them for parties for my kids and the adults loved them as much (if not more) than the kids did! I contacted Betty requesting information on a sample kit for a wedding. She has been extremely wonderful throughout the ordering process. She personally delivered our sample kit with sample designs and of the flavors we wanted to try (carrot, chocolate, lemon, vanilla, red velvet). It was so hard to choose. We ended up choosing 2 flavors for our wedding (chocolate and lemon). Our original request for multiple designs (quite confusing the way we were requesting since original design was big) but closer to the date we changed our display to a simple cake stand and wanted to display the cake pops with the sticks going inside the box (thank you Pinterest). When I sent Betty an email about changing our original designs, she was really nice and had no problem changing our designs. Our cake pops were amazing and delicious! The final design was perfect! Exactly what we asked for. A huge reason I chose cake pops over a regular wedding cake is because I love the idea the cake pops are individually wrapped. I'm not into wasting cake and sadly can't eat half a whole wedding cake a day after. Was so happy to see that out of the 200 cake pops we ordered (with approximately 125 guests at the cake cutting portion) we had 6 left for us. I had people who do not eat cake grab a couple. They were so delicious! Communication with Betty has been great. I definitely recommend Betty Lou's Cake Pops. I plan on ordering again for future events (and even when I just want cake!). read more

We bought cake pops from Betty Lou for our wedding favors. They were a hit! Instead of the usual discarded favors at the end of the wedding, there were seriously no cake pop left behind. We were lucky that my mom kept four for us to eat as a snack as we flew to our honeymoon destination b/c otherwise we would have not gotten one. I saw people stuffing their suit jackets and purses with them. We were ecstatic. We got four flavors- vanilla, german chocolate, chocolate and red velvet. My husband, normally a die hard chocolate lover, loved even the vanilla and red velvet flavors. One of my bridesmaid pushed me aside searching for the coveted red velvet flavor (she doesn't even like red velvet). So in summary, the flavors were delicious. Now, for the service. Betty delivers impeccable service. She sent us a sample kit so that we could try the flavors and see sample designs. They were amazing. She personally delivered the cake pops so that they would not be destroyed in transit. She was on time and I had no worries. The designs were amazing as well .
