On 12/1/25 I made an online purchase through the app at 502am. When I got to the store to pick up my order the lights were on and people were inside. The gentlemen who spoke to me through the drive thru told me that they had changed the hours and it should've been changed on the app and that all he could do is refund me my money. Well I never received a refund and was still charged for the order. This is wrong for some many reasons 1) if you're going to change store hours then whoever's in charge of running the better buzz app should've made it not possible for people to order. 2) if you're already in the store with other people why not just fill the order since I'm pretty sure the supplies you needed were already there. Or at least turn the damn lights off, and put a sign on the drive thru saying you're closed and the hours have been changed and not have wasted my time to begin with. 3) keep your word and give me the refund you said you were going to do! The refund I'm intitled to. This was unethical, dishonest, untruthful, and flat out robbery. To charge a person for a service or product not provided to me is theft. What if I never checked mv account? *updated on 12-28-25* I would like to add, just so everyone can know the truth about what kind of business this is and the kind of people it's ran by. The district manger Yanai replied to my review giving me her email for me to connect wit her directly to make this right. Well guess what, just like I never received that refund from the store, I never got a reply from Yanai to "make things right" what was your point of even replying to my review? To make people think you would make it right when you had zero intention's of following through with your word? This is the most ridiculously, unethical business establishment I've ever come across in my life. If you've been to this establishment and were owed a refund, check to make sure they gave it to you, because believe me, you can't take their word for it. And don't try to say you never got my email cause just like my refund I was supposed to get, I checked, double checked and triple checked that the email spelling was correct and went through. Zero stars for the company with the least integrity. read more

This is the first time at this location. Wanted to get my usual Chai with coconut milk. We entered the wrong way and the drive thru line was ridiculously long so we parked and I went inside. A beautiful location, but busy! I also decided to get a bite to eat. I chose the Feta Avocado (cherry tomatoes on the side) crumbled feta, butter on thick-cut multigrain. It was about $10 This was actually one of the first times I ordered food from any Better buzz location. While I was waiting, I saw all the different options other people had ordered and saw the baristas in action to fulfill all the orders. I don't usually see that as we order drive thru. I had a great conversation with barista Brittany as she brought out my order. She was very friendly and kind. My Avo toast was yummy. Super cute place! I was visiting the area and it looked popular. We mistakenly caught the drive-through line so we parked and ordered through the door. It was super hot in the morning and they didn't have much shade, but the service was really nice. My order : Iced Matcha with oat milk - it was really good nothing too special, I am very picky with my Matcha, and this was made well and not powdery at all. I also got to try the best drink ever, it was pretty good. I understand for some people it could be too sweet, but it was perfect for me. Better Buzz is my legit my favorite coffee restaurant. Hands down. 4 stars for that alone! I ordered the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew yesterday and a Blueberry muffin. The gentleman who took my order had great service. He offered suggestions and asked if I wanted my muffin warmed, I said yes please. I absolutely love warm muffins. When I got to the drive through window, I felt rushed out the way. I asked for a straw and she gave it to me and was like, "ok have a good day." Plus, my muffin wasn't warmed so I had to wait until I got home to warm it up which was disappointing. A helpful tip for those who work at the drive through window is to repeat the order (including specifications) back to the customer to ensure that it is correct. I have been going here for a while now and believe it is time to give props to the amazing staff at this location. I was a long time customer to a different coffee joint and found the quality was dropping steadily and quickly. I decided I should give Better Buzz a try. I should have made the switch much much MUCH earlier. The quality, taste and overall satisfaction of their coffees and drinks are amazing! But, what makes this location even more amazing? The employees! These are the friendliest, most happy, kind and genuine people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I used to work client facing and understand the importance of a good smile, small conversation and memory of my clients. They do all this and more. If I could give ten stars? I would. I recently decided to check out Better Buzz Coffee after receiving a gift card from a client. I ordered a chai tea with vanilla cold foam, avocado toast, and a yogurt bowl. The chai tea seemed watered down with lukewarm water and the tea itself was bland, even the vanilla cold foam had no flavor. There was even sticky brown stuff over my cup. (shown in picture) The avocado toast was OK, but my only problem was that it seemed like it wasn't toasted at all since I still see some raw butter. (I asked for lightly toasted). The yogurt bowl was alright, but they didn't add any honeycomb like their description said. However, the granola on the side didn't have a proper tamper proof sticker on it. The place itself seemed clean and the workers were helpful to assist me finding my pickup order. If you're looking for a place with good food and drinks, it's best if you check out coffee shops in the Convoy area. read more

Came here to try this coffee for the first time and it's so good!! Very nice and smooth!!. The place was so busy, but it's so loud in there. I keep trying because everything LOOKS good and it's so close to home, but so far only meh or negative experiences. I've tried BB maybe 3-4 times and the drinks are okay and pastries are okay. Everything's okay. But today they sent my wife the weakest açaí bowl I've ever seen -- like just açaí smoothie and some hemp and a few berries, leaving out the extra almond butter and gluten free granola we paid for. My wife was so cute adding a little note about how it's their birthday (I think hoping their extra scoop of almond butter would be especially generous lol) and obviously it would've been fine if they had just given the normal extra amount but it feels like they were ESPECIALLY skimpy? I'm sure they're just super busy and made a mistake but what a bummer on their birthday. I DoorDashed an entirely separate grocery order for granola and almond butter because obviously I don't want their birthday breakfast to be sad! So a very expensive morning for sure. Yep, another Better Buzz has opened in San Diego. This location is the closest to my hood, which is nice. I had the ham and cheese croissant and what they call the best coffee ever" iced. The ham and cheese croissant was delicious, and they heated up just right, too. Just enough so all the cheese was perfectly melted. The croissant was buttery and flaky. The iced coffee was good but a little too sweet for my taste to drink often. I am a cortado lover, but they have yet to place that on the menu. Someday, I hope. Service was very upbeat and friendly. They do get kinda loud inside, so take advantage of the outside seating if you like more of a quieter ambiance like myself. read more

SOO HAAAAPPYYYYY that Better Buzz finally opened a location in my hooood !! The coffee here is sooo good and I'm not being biased because I used to work at the old fashion valley cart back in high school lol-- it really is one of the best coffee shops in San Diego !! I finally got around to stopping by today and it's been about a month since it first opened . The drive thru lines are still crazyyyy and parking is horrendous at the moment . Im sure it'll die down once the hype of a new coffee shop is over . I parked across the street in the neighborhood and walked on over . The Better Buzz sign is bright, glistening, and literally calls out to you to purchase coffee ! I love the outdoor patio area and the inside is super cozy . It has about 6 tables or so . I got there around 930am and there were about 4 people in line ahead of me and I waited about 10 minutes to get to the cashier . Once I ordered, I waited another 10-15 minutes to get my food and drinks . I didn't know there was an app you can place a mobile order through with a designated pick-up area--- will be doing this in the future . Here's what I ordered-- BEST DRINK EVER is literally the best drink ever . It's strong, creamy, semi sweet vanilla flavored, and most of all.. delicious . I love getting this drink iced even though its 50 degrees cold outside . Always hits the spot . BETTER BREAKFAST SANDWICH was really tasty ! Bacon was thick cut, egg was cooked well (wish yolk was still runny, but hey-- beggars can't be choosers haha), pretzel bun was fluffy on the inside with a nice crisp exterior pretzel bite, and arugula gave it a nice spice . Havarti is one of my all time fav cheeses and the garlic aioli gave it a nice refreshing zing . Great sandwich, but definitely a little pricey and is a splurge . My son loved his CHEESE DANISH . It's served at room temp and at first bite was just okay . We took it home and threw it in the Airfryer and it actually was pretty good warmed up . Flakey, buttery, and the cheese middle was tasty . Tip-- You can order the drinks less sweet if you want . I haven't had an Acai bowl here, but they are one of my favs to get on a hot day . Customer service was good; my cashier thanked me for waiting and she was nice . I will for sure be back in the future again when I need my BDE cravings satisfied ! read more
