Great Coffee spot in Del Mar. CS is superb, the young lady that waited on me was super helpful and accommodating. Very clean and well organized

Love the Better Buzz aesthetic and vibe! The assortment of unique drinks is a differentiator from other specialty coffee shops. The quality of coffee is good and honestly just a simple cappuccino is worth it. The drink prices are high but unsurprising for a Del Mar shop.

It seems some of their images and reviews got purged from their Yelp. I've once gave an updated review about a time (July 26th) where I ordered their $7.99, Ham & Cheese Croissant. It contained smoked ham, muenster cheese, on a toasted croissant. It was a tad oily (buttery) and was piping hot! Not bad, but if you think back a couple of years I would totally see this being priced at $4! Another time, actually quite recently-- October 4th, I got myself a Mint Infused Iced Coffee. I've actually ordered this before at their Fashion Valley location and LOVED IT! Although sadly, at this specific location... I did not love it. It had way too much heavy cream. What a bummer to spend my $6.49 on that. This day they were insanely packed, one guy working the bar and another at the register. There were also maybe 1-2 others working but they were behind the door perhaps stocking? I don't know if Better Buzz prioritizes speed over quality. The man was working quite fast and what I thought to be efficiently - that is until I tasted my drink. Maybe in the colder season I'll stop by and the drink will be good? But as of now I've had multiple misses with the flavors of the drinks-- them mainly being very sweet and milky. I do like that this spot does accept cash. In addition, many seats inside are filled with students on laptops. Most of them have finished their drinks and remain seated, leaving no space (inside that is) for new customers to enjoy their drinks. Which is not 100% a huge deal, but maybe over time may be annoying for others. Although, Better Buzz does have multiple tables and seating areas outside of their shop. Also...they are a 3-5 min walk from the beach! Better Buzz Coffee has smoothies, blended iced coffees, cold brews, açaí bowls, teas, lemonade, toasts, sandwiche, & wraps. The menu may slightly be on the pricier side I would say because it's closer to the beach, it has that beach price iykwim. The choice is yours if you want to spend your money here! It is a popular spot with other people, just a miss for me.

This location is conveniently located across from the Del Mar Plaza (south) on Camino Del Mar at 15th Street. They have a nice outside patio and a great inside vibe. The staff is high positive energy and they are really working hard to get orders completed. I highly recommend this location.

Stopped into Better Buzz for a cold drink and a restroom break, and both delivered. The restroom was excellent--clean, well-maintained, and spacious. The store itself was just as well kept, with a welcoming atmosphere. Staff were friendly and efficient. My drink was solid, with a perfect balance of flavors--not overly sweet, not overloaded with ice--and priced fairly. Overall, a great quick stop.

I'm a total dog lover, so I'm a sucker for places that truly accommodate pets--and this spot nailed it. They offered my pup a pup cup, which instantly won me over. The location is also great--walking distance to the beach with plenty of outdoor seating both out front and along the side, perfect for soaking in the coastal vibe. I stopped by and ordered the Hot Large (best drink ever!) for $6.79--definitely recommend. Also signed up for their rewards program, which was a nice bonus. This location is the kind of place I'll keep coming back to--not just for the drinks and beachy convenience.

One of Sand Diego's best coffee chains. Service, non-coffee drinks, food, etc. are on point regardless of the location. This particular location had a t-shirt that might daughter absolutely loved!

I've been enjoying this coffee joint few times now. Friendly, fast service. Today I got simple Better Drink Ever and Better Breakfast. It could be because I was hungry after a run but the pretzel bun breakfast sandwich just became few eager bites that I gulped down. Loved that sandwich came out piping hot. Had to wait few minutes before I gobbled it down. Breakfast sandwich $10, Coffee drink $6 with tax and tip came down to about $20. Seating inside and outside. Enjoy!

Iced mocha at Better Buzz with an extra shot of espresso was strong with a rich chocolate flavor. The drink was not too sweet or milky. Refreshing sweet treat with a price tag reflective of an artificial coffee shop in Del Mar. Most of the seating is outdoors with just a few small inside tables. The shop was clean and the service was fast.

Update: So awesome that Nikki from Better Buzz reached out and is looking for improvements in their process. I appreciate that sometimes things are not 100% correct and glad that Better Buzz is focused on quality.

It seems like Better Buzzes are popping up all over town, which is not a bad thing since they do provide a good product. I picked up something I have never tried at the buzz: the Chile Crunch Breakfast Wrap on a a toasted wheat tortilla stuffed with a chili crisp aioli, hash brown, ham, egg, and muenster cheese. The crunch breakfast wraps was good and tasty, but I wish the hash brown would of been crispy and not mushy as it was. The aioli was flavorful, and the egg, ham, and cheese were very good. They offer little packages of Cholula for their salsa. The service at the counter was very up beat and friendly. They do need to be a little louder when they call out orders when they are ready. I did not hear them the first time around.

In a great location at the main intersection of downtown Del Mar where the Starbucks used to be. Grab a coffee and walk to the iconic powerhouse park or beach just down the street! Service was super friendly at the counter. Coffee is honestly not my #1 choice, it's marginally better than Sbux and they rely on sugary drinks to make it taste good. Decor/vibe inside is amazing though just many other locations. Suggested items : best drink ever, banana chocolate loaf or zucchini loaf (v). Cheers!

pic from website, sadly no drinks with flowers are offered :(

We each got to order a pot of tea, so we decided to order 5 different ones to try out more flavors together. The ones we picked were: -Jasmine orange oolong - Coconut milk green tea - Earl grey lavender - Vanilla cream -Strawberry rose champagne oolong tea My top two favorites were the jasmine orange oolong and the coconut milk green tea. The only flavor that none of us enjoyed was the strawberry rose champagne oolong tea, so when it came time for refills, we switched it to the rouge provence. For the food, there were four finger sandwiches: chicken breast, smoked salmon, cucumbers, and chopped spinach. We all liked the chicken breast one the most, and felt like the cucumbers and chopped spinach could have been combined into one sandwich for a more balanced flavor. For sweets, there was the seasonal scone, fruit tart, macaron, and donut. I loved the scone with the butter and fruit preserves, as well as the fruit tart. The service was polite, but a bit slow and we waited a while before our food arrived. There was only one person who was serving the entire afternoon tea area, so it's understandable that there's a longer wait. All in all, I would definitely come back for another afternoon tea experience!

[Parking]: The garden has a small private parking lot and there were still few parking spots available at 2:30 PM on Saturday. [Bunny Encounters & Price]: Our party booked a 30-minute bunny session ahead of our visit. For reservations, they offer a 20-minute session for $22 per person or a 30-minute session for $25 per person. Walk-ins are welcome as space allows. Reservations are recommended on weekends. [Bunny Experience]: The garden has one window counter for ordering coffee drinks and another counter for bunny sessions. Our party arrived on time, waited in line, and ended up 5 minutes late to our scheduled session. The staff instructed us not to pick up the bunnies and our party had to wear shoe covers before entering the pens. During the session, our party was able to ask the staff as many leaves as we want. Personally, I found the experience a bit underwhelming because (1) I was only able to get the bunnies' attention with leaves and (2) since visitors can't pick up the bunnies, the only activities our party could do were feeding them and watching them eat leaves. There is also a small house with baby bunnies. [Menu]: After the bunny session was over, our party walked up to the window counter and ordered coffee drinks. The top highlighted drinks include The Gardener and The Florist (ceremonial unsweetened organic matcha with rose). Iced drinks 16 oz only. They also sell pizza here. *** The Gardener (organic espresso with honey, lavender, and vanilla - iced 16 oz - $7.50): The drink tasted a bit sweeter than I would have preferred. *** The garden has a good first-date vibe, but personally this is a one-and-done spo. I was disappointed that visitors can't pick up the bunnies even if they hop onto your lap. I recommend sticking with the 20-minute session rather than the 30-minute session for the feeding and petting experience. Also the coffee drink I had was mediocre at best.

The people behind the counter we eloquent and efficient along with being kind and patient. My wife was pretty indecisive and they worked with us till she finally knew what she wanted. The whole reason we went though was for coffee and we were FAR from disappointed. We got the Blood Orange Basil Latte and the Blackberry Vanilla Latte and both tasted perfect, each sip of the Blood Orange Basil had a nice scent of basil with the leaf in there. You really can't go wrong here, the tables outside gave you a nice area to sit relax and enjoy the ocean breeze. A+ 10/10 no notes, excepts for the positive ones above. The drink itself is delicious, but not sure if I would come every week for this price (personally). Maybe just once in a while! The interior space got revamped so that the workers have more wiggle room, that was cool to see. I didn't see much else that changed though-- oh besides that and the prices. The week before, I ordered the $7.25 Iced Blood Orange Basil Latte (seasonal special). I was eager to try it because I do enjoy citrus notes with my coffee. But this one lacked the flavors I was hoping to taste. It was all too subtle for me. I wouldn't order it again, but it was nice to try. 4-5 stars! Overall, I've enjoyed my many visits to 7 Seas Roasting & been here through many changes. I do think the coffee drinks are pretty solid and would recommend checking out their seasonal specials when they have them. My top favorites would be: dark mocha raspberry, banana split latte, and the thin mint latte. If you ever see these on the menu, I highly recommend trying them! They have ample seating, outdoors only. The baristas are alll very kind too. It's a great place to spend your time at.

Located just blocks away from the water and situated with an amazing view, Naked Cafe has nothing to hide but this hidden gem is off the well traveled highway 101 serving patrons inside and outside of their cozy bungalow-styled establishment. As you arrive (for many by foot), consider seating yourself at one of the many umbrella-shaded tables or venture inside to grab a seat. I saw a few folks with dogs so if you plan to come with your furry friend, the place seems to be well suited for them. For those looking to order takeout, simply walk up to the register and the staff will get you started. Their menu includes a variety of options like wraps, burritos, salads, bowls, tacos, pancakes, and other brunch-like items. Their drink menu is also extensive including alcohol like wines, mimosa and beer as well as coffees, teas and smoothies. You're bound to find something fitting that craving of yours or satisfying the nutrients needed for energizing your metabolism. I ended up ordering the pesto chicken wrap that also came with a side of chips. The wrap was loaded with succulent pieces of chicken and was very flavorful. The whole grain tortilla held up well throughout the meal and had good texture with each bite. The chips that came along were decent - had good crunch but lacked any kind of flavor. Fortunately the salsa came in clutch to kick things up a notch. The portions were also better than I had expected. The staff were friendly, efficient in placing our order and packaging it up, and thorough in fulfilling the order by including utensils and napkins as they handed the order to us. For takeout orders, they had given us an approximate wait time of 15 minutes and it was quite accurate. There wasn't much space to wait near the register so we ended up waiting near the front entrance near the sidewalk but after the 15 minutes, we made our way back to see that our order was in the process of getting packed up. Overall, Naked Cafe is a great spot to grab a light meal or lunch while soaking in so rays. With its open seating area covered only by the umbrellas at each table, you'll bask in the open air while consuming delicious plates made to order with fresh ingredients and healthy and sustainable options. For those with strict diets, you might want to seek this place out and see for yourself. The menu is anything but bare at Naked Cafe!
