The pool smart team gave me practical advice on how to do the repair economically, and was even cool with me shopping for parts online. No upsell or up charge pressure at all! This triggered another $500 bill to install a blower. Verbal reassurance from Johnny the technician and texts/emails from Trinity in customer service that the pump was covered by a two-year warranty from PoolSmart. I requested a copy of the warranty multiple times, Trinity always said she would send it but never did. Almost immediately the pump wasn't functioning correctly, and PoolSmart canceled appointments, then quoted over $1000 for additional repairs. Within a few months, the entire pump blew out, and when I contacted them to honor the warranty, no answer. Crickets. If you want a good pool repair company, contact Purpose Pools, they came in after these jokers and repaired everything right away for a fraction of the price. Avoid PoolSmart at all costs!
