Top-Tier Instruction at Defensive Shooting Academy…read more If you're looking for firearms training that combines expert level knowledge with real world approachability, look no further than Defensive Shooting Academy. Carmelo and Taisah are outstanding instructors not only are they extremely knowledgeable about firearms, ammunition, and (most importantly) safety, but they also have a natural talent for teaching. Whether you're a brand new shooter or someone with years of experience under your belt, they meet you where you are and take you further. Their teaching style is clear, engaging, and hands-on, with a focus on building both confidence and skill. And here's the thing they're not just instructors, they're good people. Down-to-earth, respectful, and genuinely passionate about what they do. In today's world, that's rare. As a 13 year Marine combat veteran, I've seen a lot and trained with some of the best and I still walked away from their classes learning new things. That says a lot. If I can learn from them, trust me, anyone can. Whether you're training for self-defense, looking to improve your marksmanship, or pursuing certifications like the CCW Instructor Course, this is the place to do it. I highly recommend Defensive Shooting Academy and fully plan on coming back for more training.

The products themselves feel solid, but the colors are significantly different from each other and the website photos. I reached out to NDZ on May 5 to ask for a swap or a fix. We had a brief back-and-forth, and then the communication just died on May 7. I've sent follow-up emails with no luck. Out of at least 6 orders since I started purchasing from them several months ago, most of which being numerous parts, NDZ has been nothing but consistent and has actually gone the extra mile to ensure that they are doing right by their customers. Email responses are faster than any manufacturer I've dealt with prior, and out of more parts than I can count and numerous orders, NDZ has been nothing short of perfect. Below you will see a packing slip that is written on by hand by an American who took the time to check every single order for accuracy and completion. Not to mention they accomplish that every time within 1-2 business days at the most, often same day. Their inventory has always been correct and even had multiple options, and the quality of their parts has not failed through thousands of rounds through different builds. Every one of my orders shipped within 2 business days and was validated by an American in Connecticut. I cannot speak to whomever has had a negative experience, however I have had too many positive ones to not speak out to how they have conducted their business with me. The staff there is happy to give guidance and help any way they can. Probably should mention that all of this is accomplished while still keeping pricing at or below industry standard. I will not be taking my business elsewhere for the foreseeable future for the products I order from them because they have proven they will not let me down and care about every single customer. I guarantee you if you place an order with them you will see the same experience as I am just a random guy that placed an order and kept coming back. Don't know anyone there, not in the same state, I just believe when a business goes the extra mile every time, that deserves to be noticed.
