We called at 4:30pm asking how late we could show up to shoot. They said as long as we got there by 6:45 we were good. We drove an hour and a half because none of our local shooting ranges stayed open that late. Ended up showing up at 6:40 and they said the last shooters had already gone out and they weren't accepting anyone else. Had to drive 90 minutes home. Very disappointed, will not be returning. Strongly recommend nobody goes here - wasted three hours for nothing. read more

Emailed to make sure my gun was acceptable in an indoor range. On the basis of my reply I drove an hour to do some shooting only to be told I couldn't shoot that gun. WTF!! read more

I really enjoy shooting there. I asked for pink targets and they actually listened and got them. Unlike other ranges they don't post political information one way or another that may deter their patrons. I appreciate this a lot. For the most part they are helpful and friendly. Totally impressed with these guys and this place. I haven't shot in two years and my husband and I found a babysitter so that we could truly start to get the practice needed. First of all just from the point of view of hours, closing at 9 pm on a Saturday was a big help. We called ahead to make sure when our cut off was... 1 1/2 hours before. They are thorough in making sure you read the rules, putting your initials next to every one. I have no issue with that. We shot for just over an hour and at one point one of the range masters came in and worked with the both of us on stance and other great pointers. These are serious guys, serious about guns and serious about not dealing with people who don't want to follow range rules. We drove an hour to come here and now the goal is to make up for lost time, grab a babysitter and get up here once a month. Thanks guys! read more

I went in today 6/19/2020.. for some practice shooting.there was/is a policy to allow only the alternate port (operate at 50% capacity) be used to keep social distancing.. I go and check and I am assigned to a port right next to 2 other shooters; I questioned and raised a concern, but this guy would not listen and in 15 mins he had 4 people next to each other on the ports, some wearing masks other not..totally disregarded the social distancing, I felt. In all fairness these guys are good and is a good range; I went 10 days ago and the other 2 guys were sincere in practicing social distancing.. they used alternate ports only and at 50% capacity. While this time today there were other 8-9 ports that were empty on the other side and not used and he wouldn't let me use it or practice alternate ports usage. If this continues in terms of not following social distancing policies.. I would avoid this place. Go to other ranges that follow the Covid health guidelines. I hope these covid infections become zero in our area and get back To some normalcy. In the mean time we all need to do our part, to not allow this virus to spread. I would give a 4 star at least, if today's experience was different. read more

We have been going to Wollf's for years to shoot. I have never had an issue w/ the staff and the prices are reasonable considering the liability of having a gun range. Located a stone's throw from ESPN world headquarters, Wolf's is a great place to shoot. After getting your NRA Basic Pistol certificate, you are allowed to shoot. You don't even need a state permit. They will rent you guns from a large selection, the only caveat being that you must buy the ammo from them. Of course, permit holders can bring their own guns and ammo. The staff was very helpful, informative and encouraging. They even gave me a discount when they found out it was my first time visiting. The target movement controls are modern, switch-based and motorized. Each lane has its own work station area, and there are tables along the back wall. I received a warm greeting and friendly advice from a regular customer who was shooting at the same time as me. Everything about this place is top-notch, courteous and professional. Safety is a primary concern, and the rules are very clear and reasonable. Their prices are very competitive, especially compared to other area ranges who seem to be resting on their laurels. This is surprising, given how much newer and well-maintained Wolf's facility seems in comparison. I read some poor reviews about the staff on Google, but I have to say I think this place is great. Granted, the lobby outside the range has some older couches and I wouldnt want to hang out in there forever. But in reality I am just looking for a place to go and shoot my gun, so I really don't care much about what the lobby looks like. Good range, helpful staff. Good to chat with when range isn't busy. Not sure what else to write... Bring your own ammo, they do have handguns for rent... Targets are available, but you can also bring your own (12" minimum). This place in terms of service, is a joke. Went in to shoot with my dad and had to use his permit since i'm 20 which is fine, but having the range officer breathe down my neck while I shoot is just ridiculous. Made me feel like I was in prison being watched by the guards. I understand that you need to make sure that everyone follows the rules but watching someone until they do something wrong is not the way to keep a business running. read more

Hadn't been there in awhile and stopped by on my way home from work. Had to sign all the waivers (like 20) and was told by the attendant I should read them more carefully, so I asked her if anything had changed from a rules perspective and she said yes with no further comment. Once out there, folks who worked there came out twice, once to tell me you can now only take your gun out of the locked case at the tiny shooting lane bench and the second time to tell me I needed a different targeted hanger if I wanted to use the bench to zero. It felt a little weird because they could have mentioned this at the front when I checked in as there was nobody else there and iI specifically asked about rule changes. Finally, with almost all of the lanes open, another two guys come in and the attendant gives them the lane tight next to me! I get hit with shells for my last 30 minutes. Nice facility but I felt like they didn't want me there. Shooter's is a much friendlier place. read more

Excellent range with very helpful and friendly staff. My wife and I go in a regular basis after getting our permits. The great thing was being able to try out so many variations of pistol calibers when we just had our NRA safety course certificates to see what we did and did not like. read more

Easy to get to from I84 friendly staff. they dont charge you extra if you go over a few minutes on your hourly time. The only down fall I have with the place is if there are more than 4 or 5 shooters the air scrubbers cant handel the smoke quickly enough and it gets a bit cloudy. Other than that its a great place. i have been going there on and off sense the early 90's and have only had one incident where a careless shooter had his .45 pointed at the ground and it was going in my direction glad it did go off by accident or I might not be writing this. the Range personel had a word with him and the guy got a bit snotty . the Range guy said if you dont like it then get the $)(*%^* out. That seemed to do the trick. One of only a handful of ranges I feel completely safe at. read more
