Yeah don't see your kids here. This is gonna sound petty but I remember being a student here when I was around 6. These teachers are far from christian as they will let your kids get bullied and picked up. I got chased and pushed to the ground by my entire class while the teachers just sat on the chair and watched. Your kids will get bullied here and they will not care. I stand on that. read more

Bethany has been such an amazing place for my kids. Our son was in Kindergarten last year and he struggled with behavior issues; has ADHD. Ms. Hill worked so good with him, implementing different tools for behavior and communicating with us daily. We have seen such a tremendous difference from when he started Kindergarten, to graduation. Now he is in 1st grade and is doing really good. Miss Leal, the 1st grade teacher is super awesome as well and has different strategies for my son like open seating in his desk or on the floor. Now our daughter is in Kindergarten and has struggled a bit with the transition from preschool to Kinder, but Ms. Hill has helped her, and we are seeing the same progress as our son. One of the most amazing things besides the teachers is the Christian education that these children are getting. They are coming home and praying for each other, learning Bible verses, and knowing how many books of the Bible there are! The "special" classes that they have are also so amazing: music, art, computers and PE. They are teaching amazing concepts and my kids are learning so much. I HIGHLY recommend Bethany Christian Academy as a school for your children. They will learn about God, biblical principles, have a high quality education with teachers who are godly and loving, and the price is the lowest in Orange County! When you want the best for your child, you come to Bethany. A wonderful school that is too good not to share about! The principal opens every single door at carline drop off & pickup- wow! Each teacher knows every child in every grade making this a wonderful community instead of a classroom only experience. Spelling Bees, art fair, fall festival and even drill team or basketball- this is what school is supposed to be about and Bethany is doing it right every single day. Everyone is beyond nice and helpful to parents. It is also refreshing that as a parent we are welcomed to join the kids at chapel. I used to be in this school, it was not bad at first. But I remember getting very injured in P.E dodgeball. No one cared to even help me. No teachers rushed to help, they walked then lazily sent me off to the office. It's clear they do not care for the well being of students. Nowadays, the drama and bullying is out of control. The school is extremely strict on their rules and they make it hard for the students to interact with the school better. read more

I have two children. Both went to BCA pre school. Pre k for my oldest. They were incredible. They helped us through a difficult word my son was sating for attention. So they recommended Kindergarten bootcamp. I did NOT want to do this as my child had responded so well to Mrs Cris. The new teacher Miss Hill (who will be the full class K teacher this year) is a HORRIBLE teacher. She had 4 kids in her class. One of then is her daughter. I talked to 3 other parents, ALL THREE said she had the principal tell them if their FIVE YR OLD had one more outburst they would be kicked out of her class. Every child except her daughter is a bad child who doesn't deserve her attention. My child was playing with a toy that her daughter wanted. So she took it away from my child and gave it to hers. This upset my child. He pushed over a little plastic thing that held balls and a trash can. She kicked him out. Not telling me when I came to pick him up. She said we will see you tomorrow. That was a lie. They fires the principal who I am pretty sure was having an affair with this young teacher Miss Hill (when I met with them it was really obvious something was going on between them and makes sense why he let her decide every child except hers needed to be kicked out of the school). The office lady was just as bad. The first day of K bootcamp drop off was 8:30. No one was there. My wife went to the office and she told her "I don't know what to tell you. I think she's in a meeting or something with the principal. Just wait." She waited over an hour. No one showed up so the pre school took him for the day. That was the FIRST DAY. When they told my wife our child could not come back because he had another outburst (his second one) my wife said "well we already paid for the month." The office lady replied "ya well we are out money too. He broke this thing that holds the balls." First that is a lie. I put the balls back with him. It is a couple pieces of PVC plastic pipe glued together. A DYS that cost maybe $15 and it was not broken anyways. We had paid over a THOUSAND dollars. They refused to refund. They were absolutely horrible to my wife and even worse to my five year old child. This is their Kindergarten teacher this coming year! She could not handle 4 students! How do you think she will do with 15? And yes her daughter will be one of the students. I wrote an email to the head of the board who did not even respond. They are the most unprofessional school I have ever come across. They also had my 5 year old with 13 and 14 year Olds! They had him go to the bathroom with an older boy! Who then plugged the drain of the sink. That was my child's 1st and only warning. Which was not him or his fault. That is 100% on the school. No little boy should EVER be forced to go to the bathroom with a much older boy. They are lucky that was all that happened. My child had nothing to do with plugging the drain. He was laughing because he wanted to impress the older boy. The principal when I explained this was so weird I could not believe it. He agreed and I said this is your fault not my child so I want this taken from the record. He agreed but then his little girlfriend or whatever the girl who is young enough to be his daughter Miss Hill told him my child needs to be kicked out he without telling me agreed to do her bidding. Why? If you saw them together you would come to the same conclusion I did. He is no longer there but the office lady and Miss Hill are. They have the worst school I have ever seen for your child. Pre school is amazing. Mrs Audrey the director is so kind and helpful. Mrs Paige is the best teacher for 3 yr Olds I have ever seen. Mrs Cris is great for 4 yr Olds. They are a separate school from the K-9th. They could not be anymore different. To parents looking for a school. Do NOT trust your child with Mrs Hill or anyone in that School. I have seen over and over little children with older children unsupervised. ​ read more

We moved our daughter from public school halfway through her 6th grade year and she is a completely different person - happy to attend school, loves her friends and classes. The teachers and staff care so much about the school. I can call the school and they know me and my daughter. It is just a different atmosphere and environment. We searched for private schools after coming to the conclusion that the direction the public schooling system was headed did not align with our core values as a family. We visited multiple schools and we are beyond grateful for choosing Bethany. The staff is so personable, helpful, and caring. Our kids have made close friends and have sleepovers and so many other things that never happened at our previous schools. I attended Bethany Christian Academy for seven years, 2nd grade through 8th grade. I feel I got a great education there! I came from a public school that had a classroom attendance of 40 with 1 teacher. It took some of my second grade year to get caught up, to eventually be grades ahead of the national average. My three girls now attend Bethany. One has special needs and has received great attention, and because of it is at or ahead of where she should be for her grade. My middle child is also ahead of her grade level. They both love their friends and are loved by the teachers. The third is in the preschool (Bethany Christian Preschool) and already knows how to spell her name and is beginning to read. She is ready for kindergarten according to state standards and just turned 4. Enough said, we love Bethany! read more

I can't say enough about this school. My GATE kids are challenged enough by the curriculum, and their amazing teachers that go above and beyond. They are further challenged by activities such as the district spelling bee, math olympics, speech meet, and piano recital opportunities. There are classmates with learning issues that have their needs met as well, since class sizes are small and instruction and homework can be tailored somewhat for each child. I love that my kids are also learning compassion for others, no matter what ability level a child is. Amazing computer lab, music program, and after school sports activities (all unheard of in most schools) make this school wonderful. The tuition is the most reasonable in all of Orange County. Love this school. My kids tested at GATE (gifted and talented) but they're challenged without being overwhelmed. I looked twice into sending my middle child to GATE and to public junior high to be with other GATE kids, and both times realized BCA offers so much more! Full years of science, history, math olympics, Spelling Bee, Speech meets, drill team, sports, art, music, full year computer.... wow! Better than my local public schools for sure. I'm a public school teacher but when it was time for my granddaughter to go to school I wanted a Christian school where she could get both academics and moral guidance in a loving atmosphere. After visiting many schools, a neighbor told me about his positive experience with BCA. I visited the school and was very impressed. The small student body allows the teachers more time for each child and also creates an atmosphere where everyone knows each other and is supportive. Their academics are sterling and they often win competitions against much larger schools. What is really the most impressive is the family atmosphere at BCA. Teachers know ALL the students - not just the ones in their grades. The students are courteous, respectful and the dress code assures modesty. Parents are involved and there is none of the nonsense you will see at a public school. No drugs, no cell phones, no kids making out, etc. If you want your child to go to a place where she is SAFE, loved and valued, where she won't be swallowed up in a sea of other students, where she is a name and not a number and where there is moral guidance - unlike the "anything goes" philosophy of CA public schools - and where the tuition is very, very reasonable, then I urge you to visit BCA. read more

We currently have 3 children attending Bethany Christian Academy. They attend the before and after school day care as well. The teachers and community at Bethany are so loving and really go the extra mile. They care deeply about each child and their academic, emotional and spiritual development. Our girls have been part of Drill team, competed in the speech meet and the art festival as well. We love it that they are able to have a music and art teacher in addition to all of the core subjects. They are thriving and have built great friendships. When my oldest daughter attended the public school I teach at for a year, I thought she'd make more friends since my school has about 100+ students per grade, but she really missed the friends she'd known since preschool and asked to go back to Bethany. She also said, "You can't talk about God at your school, mom, and I really miss the chapels." Bethany is laying a solid spiritual foundation which I know will benefit our kids as they transfer into the public school later on.
