My three year old at the time was attending another daycare that only accepted children age two and up. I wanted both of my kids in the same place, so I enrolled them here and I am so grateful I did. My son started here when he was about 11 months old, and from the very beginning you could tell the staff genuinely love and have a true passion for children. My daughter started when she was three and was very shy and scared at first, but her teachers and the staff made her feel so comfortable. She was able to be herself here, just like she is at home. I truly love all the staff and the amazing events they put together. They make every holiday so special and fun for the kids Halloween, Easter, open house events, picture days, and so much more. You can really tell how much effort and love they put into creating these moments, and that's something I truly appreciate as a parent. They even allowed me to have a birthday lunch for my daughter's 4th birthday, and she was beyond thrilled. For my son's 1st birthday, they also made it feel so special. Those little moments mean everything, and it shows how much they truly care about each child. My daughter is now four, turning five, and will be graduating with her TK class. Thanks to this daycare, she already knows her ABCs and colors in Spanish, which is amazing. My one year old son already knows his colors, loves singing, and absolutely loves everyone here. What I also really appreciate is that if there is ever an issue or concern, the staff communicates it kindly and respectfully. They truly work as a team with parents to find solutions and support the child, which means so much to me. Even though my daughter will be leaving, my son will continue here and I will gladly make the commute because the care, love, and dedication from the staff is worth it. The atmosphere here is so welcoming my mom loves it, my family loves it, and I love it. I would 100% recommend this daycare. You will not regret choosing this place. I was blown away by how fast and smooth the transition was and the new classrooms are beautiful! Not only did the school get a facelift, but they also updated everything including utilizing easy to use technology to sign in and out, message faculty and staff and receive photos throughout the day. There have been a few new people but they fit right in and also truly care about each child. I now have my two oldest boys attending school together and couldn't be happier. I tell people that they are blossoming and that is an understatement. Cypress Early Explorers was pivotal in potty training for both of them and were so helpful throughout the process. My boys have not only learned a ton so far but they are confident, are practicing great manners, are making friends and literally don't want to come home. The expense is worth it. I know my boys are safe, growing, happy and loved. That makes me feel so much better (mom guilt is real). If you're looking for part time or full time preschool for your child, check them out!!

She barely knew her Alphabets at the time, but after only a few months, she was able to read a few simple words. Mrs. Lee, the principal, told us when we enrolled our daughter that she would be able to read and write by the time she finishes her Pre-K and honestly I was a little skeptical then. However, she was right! By the time our daughter graduated from Kindergarten, she was able to read at a 2nd grade level and pretty much done with her 1st grade math curriculum. Besides focusing on academia, the teachers and the principal gave their students many opportunities to play, do their arts and crafts, dance and perform on stage. Their tuition even included weekly Taekwondo lessons. The school also organized additional fun activities with outside vendors such as mobile petting zoo, field trips etc. All the kids got to perform on stage twice a year (at Christmas and graduation ceremony) and we enjoyed watching all of them so much. It was incredible to see how the little ones were able to learn and do so much more than we thought . Ms. Sam is the sweetest, most energetic and effective teacher we have ever known. She is definitely loved by all of her students. We are glad that we have decided to keep her there for her Kindergarten year as I was tempted to put her in a tuition-free public school. In our opinion, it was worth it to pay for the additional year due to the invaluable lessons and experiences the school offered. Now we wish this school offered higher grade levels so we can keep sending her there. This is a Christian-based school. Even though we are not Christians, we are glad that they teach the kids to be grateful, kind, loving and be aware of God's presence. They learn to be thankful to all the blessed things they have. They learn The Pledge of Allegiance and national anthems of the U.S. which are all great things to help building a child's ethical and moral values. Garden Grove 1st Preschool and Kindergarten has really exceeded our family's expectations. We truly can't thank the teachers, Mrs. Lee and the staffs enough!
